The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

When you drive 2 miles and pass 3 other establishments because of past experiences and reviews (nothing has changed) you know its worth it. Being greeted as you walk through the door by 2 friendly workers (always a good start) and buy the best Fish & Chips you know you have made the right choice. Fresh Fish & Chips that were cooked to perfection, hot & crispy batter not at all stodgy or heavy on the thick piece of fish with chunky fresh chips made a midweek meal really enjoyable. As a couple we shared the portion as it was more than adequate for us. We will definitely be returning.

The best chips! Staff are friendly, prices are fair. Highly recommend supporting this local family business. The food is cooked fresh. Phone up and order for collection or walk in. Cash only. I highly recommend their fried chicken. Honestly the best fried chicken I've ever had. Also without a doubt the cleanest fish and chip shop I've ever been in. They genuinely take pride in everything they do.

Never open. I even rang to double check when it would close and was told 3pm, sign says 4pm. I turned up at 2, made a journey specifically and it was closed. Clearly don't want the business, or care about customer service.

Very expensive for what you get. It looks like a romantic setting for a date night. But it wasn't romantic when I got diahorrea and sickness after.

ordered a large cod ,when it arrived it looked like a child size meal , chips were soggy defently not worth the price . normally a large cod doesn't fit on plate normally I will not order from them again its got worse every time I have ordered .

Low quality food. Soggy fish Chips too oily. Bad quality considering I paid £10

Sweet little place but they left scales on the fish before frying. The fish itself was fine but I was eating the skin for a bit before I realised it was not nice at all. I feel like descaling fish is the norm at any seafood restaurant. The mushy peas were really dull in flavour. We ordered the mixed seafood platter - it seemed quite small for the price. The chips were good/ fine. The rest of the food was fine. I don't think I will be returning again. The staff were perfectly fine.

Waited 30-45 minutes for 3x chips and 1x sausage. (Which would of been fine if i got what i ordered) Got the chips and they didn't have any salt and vinegar on top, they were wrapped up so assumed that was already done since it was asked for at the start. Approx £13 for the meal which is decent. Had to pay extra for sachets of sauce. Approx 50p per satchet

We had a beautiful meal, very happy with the service and staff My booking was a birthday gift Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
