Divito Fish Bar in Dover

Having been a loyal customer here for years and through various ownerships. I'll always give new owners a chance. I ordered from here a few weeks ago when they setting up their new till/Just Eat service and the service and food was awful. I left it a few weeks to let the systems bed in and went in there last night. Fish was cooked fresh but the chips were terrible, cold, not even warm, chewy. It wasn't even busy so not sure why the chips were so bad. It's such a shame that after coming here for all these years, I'll be going elsewhere now

Everything else is fine as i have only got fish and chips, and battered sausage till now, and today thought i would try Cornish pasty and ain’t no way they are serving this at the price of £3.50💀, the skin is hard and the insides are way too hot, are we even trying here?

Had a very good experience at Divitos fish bar, went to Dover for a day out with friends and had a pleasure of fish n chips on the way back, fish cooked to the perfection 😊

Ordered fish and chips on a couple of occasions. However their fish portions are pathetic, you'll get more fish in a fish finger. Batter is over done leaving the fish dry. Chips are OK. Will not be getting fish and chips again. Awful

Just got in after collecting my food. Unwrapped chips and instantly see a thick curly pubic hair. Was very off putting and will not be going back

Visited divitos fish and chips shop on Saturday evening, the food was excellent and the service very good. Highly recommended.

The fish, made to order, is delicious. Very crispy frying. On the other hand, I liked the fries less. I only got the fish the second time. Good tasting !

Best fish and chips from here, I normally walk passed to go to Tony's (they are also good). May mix and match now. The male cook even smiled for the first time and said goodbye.

1st time of using this chippy but chips were very good and a very large portion size. Also had large battered sausage and spam fritter which was also very nice.

The portions are a decent size with plenty of variation in the menu.

Worst meal we have had from a fish and chip shop. We haven't eaten from there for a couple of years so perhaps the management has changed. Saveloys were as tough as old boots, chips didn't taste of salt and vinegar despite asking for them and fish was mediocre. We certainly won't be eating from here again!

A groovy little fish and chips shop. We went down to The Cliffs for a stroll and wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading back to London. Good food! Had to wait a little though.

Just moved to Dover so trying out some takeaways, this was our first try at Dover fish and chips, WOW how lucky were we to go here first. Mountings of wonderfully flavoured chips and fantastic cod, thin crispy batter and full flavoured cod. Very happy 👍

Fabulous chip shop. Cook fish etc. The only down side, is, they don't have a card machine, its cash only

Called and ordered it went down about mins later, all freshly cooked. One downfall, they dont have a card machine

Specifically informed the girl behind counter we wanted a veggie spring roll and got home with a meat pancake roll. Phoned and informed the owner and was asked to return it! To be fair the owner offered a whole new meal but as they messed the order up twice at the counter and I ended up with a pork spring roll I'm not going to trust them. Won't be going back and will probably spend the rest of the evening ill as I cannot digest meat. Not a great end to the evening .

I feel like it's pot luck with the quality and portions. Only use now if absolutely have to and no other quick options.

Food is not too Bad however considering we are sat on the sea you would expect the freshest of cod doesn't seem very free and fish is always very tough and the battery very oily and greasy which is a real shame.

Poner en un gran campamento de la juventud para un y subrayó la necesidad de sincronización. La comida estaba lista rápidamente, aún caliente, gran calidad y encima de todo eso, uno de los el personal se encarga de la pesada caja para mí, un cuarto de milla de la carretera a mi coche. Had some lovely food from Divitos over the years, and some pretty rotten food as well. The problem is it keeps changing hands therefore the food quality changes every time! Its quite good at the moment though.

Had fish and chips from here tonight as a special treat. Very nice, always good. The Staff are always polite and efficient and the food freshly cooked. We always use this chip shop and find the standard good every time.

we regularly use this chippy as it's the closest to where we live. Everything is freshly cooked and the fish is of a decent size, the chips are cooked to perfection and are not greasy or dry. The staff are extremely polite and helpful if you are having trouble. Very reasonably priced as well compared with nearby chippies!

We live not to far from Divitos and use it quite alot. There fish and chips are lovely. chips are the best in dover, crispy and fluffy in the middle. There pies and sausages equally yummy and not greasy at all. The place is clean and tidy and service is as it should. Curry sauce and mushy peas are a hit. Highly recommended.
