The best chips! Staff are friendly, prices are fair. Highly recommend supporting this local family business. The food is cooked fresh. Phone up and order for collection or walk in. Cash only. I highly recommend their fried chicken. Honestly the best fried chicken I've ever had. Also without a doubt the cleanest fish and chip shop I've ever been in. They genuinely take pride in everything they do.

I am a posh Londoner who loves a good old seaside fish and chips, always a place to hang my top hat here, great chips and way better then the one shop in the centre [too lower class for me] recommend sitting ng in the lovely park across the road to eat these magnificent treat. Woorah. would most defiantly come again.

Visited this establishment a while ago to complain about some chips that were awfully burnt. I had a quiet polite word with the owner regarding this matter where another member of the family intervened and made threats to knock me out over my complaint, directly following this he slapped the chips out of my hands. A few months later I passed the park fish bar where once again I was verbally abused and threatened aswell as assaulted. I strongly advise against using this chip shop, and put your custom elsewhere in this town to another chip shop where you can certainly be sure to get better service and quality for your money.

greasy chips which I soon regretted eating, should have guessed from the smell of old grease as you walk up to the shop, much better chippies to choose from locally

Saturday, the 12th of March arrived 5:30 pm placed order three cod one portion of chicken nuggets two large portion of chips fish lovely nuggets lovely. chips load of rubbish they were hard for lots of little bits overcooked I will not be entering the shop again unfortunately

Enjoyed the Fish Batter sausage Pie and the Fish cakes, aswell as their Curry sauce and mushy Peas and a lot more.....

Get food from here fairly regularly, portion sizes are usually very good (sometimes too good!) and the quality is always high. No complaints here

The worst fish and chips iv ever had, the batter on the fish was rubbery as if it had been cooked and reheated all day. Chips were cold and the portion very small. Had it been earlier in the day I would have taken it back and complained!

We get our fish and chip treat here once every three weeks and they are superb .The batter is lovely and crisp and light and the chips are proper chips.

I been a customer of the Park Fish Bar every 3 weeks of so for around 20 years. In that time, I've never had caused to complain about anything. There have been maybe 5 or 6 occasions when the fish has been slightly over cooked, but never so much to be worth mentioning. Portions are generous and the fish is fresh as a daisy. Thoroughly recommended!

Food is good and the fish is tasty. Cod can be greasy as it's often cooked ahead of the rush and sits waiting, but if you order something cooked fresh (haddock, plaice, rock) I think this is the best chippy in the area. The girls behind the counter and the owner are also very friendly.

The cod can be a bit oily, but if you order something freshly cooked (like haddock or rock) it's perfectly done and the portions are just right.

The main bloke Chris is rude and has been known to treat his employees in a rude manner and sometimes his customers but on a good note the chicken breast are amazing shame bout the poor management

I decided to treat myself to an English tradition of fish & chips today, when I got home & opened the packing the fish was dripping in oil & had stuck to the chips, all the chips were all stuck together again caked in oil, as I was very hungry I decided to try & eat it, absolutely disgusting everything was tepid & tasteless, & most ended up in the bin, it seems that the youngsters working there need to be taught how to fry properly as it is obvious that the oil was not hot enough as it should not have been absorbed into the food, some may say why didn't you take it all back & complain but as I live about 1 mile away & had to get a lift both ways & couldn't get a lift back, I am an elderly citizen that has to watch my money & I must say this is the worst ive ever tasted.
