The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Thanet South East

if you are in Minnis Bay , I highly recommend the Bay fish Bar . Its a short walk from the beach, just past the green with the childrens playground. The fish and chips were excellent, the portions were generous . We had a takeaway for 4 adults and there was plenty to share with our 3 yearold . We had Rock and chips, Cod and chips , Cod bites and chips, and a portion of Battered Calamari (10 ) came to just under £40. I had the calamari and shared some of my husbands chips. I really enjoyed both. My daughter had the Cod Bites and chips which she shared with her 3 year old son . they both had plenty . If we are in the area again, I will revisit this fish bar.

Mr Chips is completely out of this world with not only their food products but also with their customer service. We have been attending Mr Chips for many years now and because of how wonderful their service is, you just can't help but want to keep going back to them. I haven't found another fish and chip shop like it, the bar to fill is extremely high once you have been serviced at Mr Chips! Stone cold chips don't mind paying 3+ pounds for chips but they got to be hot

I have travelled from one end if the country to the other eaten fish and chips from all over , there is absolutely no other chip shop that comes close to Newington fish bar This is the govner of the chipshop the fish is fresh NOT FROZEN when you bite into it you just know it's fresh the taste in the batter compliments the fish

Fish and chips at its best all freshly cooked to perfection; excellent crispy chips with fresh fish perfectly fried inside a thin and crispy batter veneer, mmm! All the food is cooked to order and us well worth the short wait, you can eat in the cosy shop but as the food is piping hot you could take it down to the front/ harbour easily.

The meal was tip too however the service from one person ruined the whole experience for us. Please be aware that this is a passive experience, great food but indifferent service. I do t want to mention names but she know who she is.

Had cod and chips,,,, new owners.... I don't know whats with the batter on the cod,,, It's not what it should be crispy,,, never had batter like this before,, Might be a teething problem,, but it needs sorting out,,,
