if you are in Minnis Bay , I highly recommend the Bay fish Bar . Its a short walk from the beach, just past the green with the childrens playground. The fish and chips were excellent, the portions were generous . We had a takeaway for 4 adults and there was plenty to share with our 3 yearold . We had Rock and chips, Cod and chips , Cod bites and chips, and a portion of Battered Calamari (10 ) came to just under £40. I had the calamari and shared some of my husbands chips. I really enjoyed both. My daughter had the Cod Bites and chips which she shared with her 3 year old son . they both had plenty . If we are in the area again, I will revisit this fish bar.

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Batter is crispy not a soggy bottom in site. Chips are also lovely and not greasy. Such a friendly fish bar.

Really enjoyed the fish and chips here. Perfect batter, really crunchy and decent quality haddock and cod. Was even presented with a small serving of chips while I was waiting for the takeaway! Can’t be faulted.

The fish and cheeps was literally amazing! The bar is very clean and the owner is very kind and friendly!! The price is also perfect! Very recommended!!

Our daughter is coeliac and was excited to finally have fish and chips as she has missed them the last 2 years. Lovely food, lovely service, great family run business, definitely worth a visit if you here! They offer a vegan menu too.. Thankyou shakey shakey x

342 Margate RoadWe have used Mr Chips for many years but this evening decided to use Just Eat to deliver it. Just eat did not have enough drivers on and the wait time was growing on the delivery. We had a call from the shop to let us know the situation which was great. It showed they really cared about the level of service they were providing. After awhile the wait time on Just eat went up to 2hours and 20 minutes in total so we decided to cancel and go and collect. On route Mr Chips called us to say they will compensate us due to the service by Just Eat. We arrived and appreciated it was not their fault. Their customer service was amazing and I will continue to support a local business with this level of customer service. We will not ever use Just Eat again! However it does not take away how good Mr Chips is. The food was great and enjoyed by everyone in my family. Thank you again Mr Chips.

21 The ParadeFood - out of this world. As a table next to us said “Dream food” and I agree with this statement! Service- outsourcing. Server was welcoming, knowledgeable, extremely helpful but not interfering. Visiting Margate this place is must to go and reservation recommended. We were lucky to get a table. Can tell this place is very popular and I myself will definitely going to come back.
