The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

What a terrible experience ~ customer experience awful and food left sweating whilst other orders were made and packed. Food no more than average and price eyewatering! Please beware!!

We had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was quiet. We both had fish, sea bass Napoli cooked in a tasty king prawn and tomato sauce and salmon cooked in a creamy leek and tarragon sauce. Side order of seasonal veg and the dishes were both served with sautéed new potatoes. Delicious and all served piping hot. The staff were all lovely and the service was just as you’d hope. Wish we’d found this place a while ago - we’ll definitely be back.

Classic fish and chips, crispy batter, amazing chips, cooked whilst we waited so felt super fresh. The staff were also really smiley!

I have read the reviews and do not recognise them. My daughter lives close by so I regularly take around F n chips for us all. Always fresh fish, always correctly cooked with crisp batter and firm cod pieces.....consistency, excellent. I have to ask for fewer chips as I find the portions too large. I never write reviews but felt obliged to give a contra opinion.

Great place but the fish and chips wasn’t up to much . Very thin piece of very bland tasting fish . We expected much better for the price they charge .

A neve and friendly chippy shop.

What a terrible mistake I made getting a takeaway from here. Was staying down the road at camber sands and ordered 2 kids meals, fish and chips. It was really poor. The mushy peas and gravy were removed from a coffee cup in the fridge and chucked in a microwave. Tasted horrific. Never again.

Visited on a whim as we passed by and will be back! Best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted, so much meat. Fish lovely and fresh. Chips delicious. Good staff too. Great place.

Apart from being extremely expensive, the food was appalling. £16.50 for a battered cod that was absolutely disgusting. Batter over cooked on the outside but not cooked in the middle. The fish appeared to be a mush rather than a fillet. Don’t waste your money

Very expensive and very underwhelming food, cold chips with bland soggy fish. Would not go again

Since the male owner passed away the chip shop has gone down the toilet pan chips were rubbery and fish was always burnt can't wait for new chip shop to open and give them a try

Fish and chips for thirty people. Delivered on time, excellent service. Everyone enjoyed the food. Good vale for money. Will use again for future events

Place is great very friendly and can have a joke. Franbuca and sheral were great bar staff and looked after us well, Got us a bit hammered too

Absolute fortune for fish and chips! If you want fish and chips in the Worthing area go to the chip shop boxgrove, value for money and larger portions!
