The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

My wife has just picked me up some southern fried chicken and it was amazing makes KFC look lame the pieces are massive and the flavour is delicious tender and crispy 10/10

Went in on Saturday evening and had such a wonderful experience that I just had to write a review about it!! Food was superb and in particular the cod is to die for. The girl serving us was lovely and complimented me which made my day😊. Lovely little fish and chip shop in the community and will definitely be returning.

The best chips, really. What a great find. Seriously good batter on the fish and I had a very nice chicken and mushroom pie. Yes, not a home pie made, but one of the best I have had. Simple table and chairs, and free parking outside. Nice cheap eats that would rival a few restaurants.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. This shop doesn’t deserve such a prime location, much better places on the outskirts of town!!!!!

40 minutes for 2 kebabs and 3 other customers served before me but came after me and was oily obviously changed hand at some point no longer any good

We drove quite a way to get fish and chips as a treat for my mother in law who is 98 and housebound. But they’re no longer open Sunday. Disappointed!

Tonight as usual the chips were lovely, the fish (had the last haddock) was simply gorgeous and even my grandson ate all his nuggets and some of my fish Staff are so pleasant and friendly and such good value Well done for being consistently great xx

Have been coming to this fish n chip shop since my daughter was born - she's now 16. Always excellent. Always fresh. Batter crispy. Fish flaky. Perfect chips. So lucky to have this close to home. And just read they've been listed in the top 50 UK fish and chip shops. Thank you Everyone at Oysters for being consistently ace!

Worst chip shop around bad service cold food exspensive and the bloke should really concentrate on doing his job instead of trying to chat my bird up while serving her 28 quid for 2 cod and chips total pass take

Fresh tasting fish and pretty decent chips, good variety for everyone to have something to enjoy, as well as veggie options although personally I didn’t like the tofish. Friendly service on both times we visited, plus relaxed atmosphere inside and out. If you are really hungry, the chips you get in the meal deal will not be enough, but good price so can’t complain at all

Nice venue for continental style eating and drinking I.e. Al fresco whilst watching the comings and goings in the village square. Relatively wide selection of foods from a Chippy. Very popular as a bar. Limited space and facilities inside when weather is less inviting.

Having read favourable press about this place, I was looking forward to cod n chips. Pros, initial service quick, reasonable prices, good portions. However, chips were average and loads were stuck to the paper. Cod was well cooked but the batter nothing special. Sadly in my opinion it doesnt compare to The Plaice in Harestock or Shoal in the City Centre.

Love the place it is a shame no longer do prizzas
