The best restaurants serving Seafood food in North West

Have tried this chippy a number of times, I always order a large chips that I normally eat over three meals. When I got to the shop it was busy. Another lady before me ordered a regular chips portion and then i ordered a large portion. a guy served both of us and when served the regular portion to the other lady i was like ooh not a bad size. When my turn came I noticed the portion this time was more regular size and I reminded him that I ordered a large portion and he said that’s a large size. Only to get home and realised the large chips were like half the portion I usually get. Not happy with the service, maybe it’s time I go to another chippy shop.

Oh my days, the fish just falls apart, and the fish in the small bites is big, really good value for money, the chicken bites also are good value for money six pieces, battered sausage is large too, curry sauce is so good not spicy, delivered before time too, thank you, I'm stuffed 🙏

Have come here many times over the last 10 years, always in the October half term, and tonight was the first time I was disappointed. Service was very slow, took 25 minutes for someone to take our order and that only happened because we asked the waiter to take it. It took another 25 minutes for the food to come out, which I don't think is too bad. I thought the food was good enough but not as good as it used to be.

Used to use regularly when working in the area , 1st time back in about 10 years and food was just as good, would recommend for people to try

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had, tasteless fish in hard overcooked batter and cold hard chips. Mushy peas weren’t even mushy!

Visited Chester's on a Saturday evening. Was served by a really rude guy behind the till. Thankfully a much more pleasant young woman took over and sorted our order out for us. Everyone else working there was barking orders or arguing with each other. Chips were decent but fairly small portion sizes given the prices. Overall nothing to write home about.

Very nice food. They care about what they do. You can order online upfront.

I miss my old chippy, but still go back for Salt n Pepper Chicken. Tracy is a legend.

Fast service, food always nice, wife said it has the best hot and sour soup in Liverpool, update, sue and John have now retired, maybe not the best soup 🍲 anymore, still a good chippy, see how things go

Just got some of their soup as not feeling too well and it usually satisfies. Not this time; they have only gone and reduced the size of the container that the soup comes in quite significantly but not the price. (Had old container still in the cupboard) Ripping off the customer is poor show.

The staff are really friendly, Matt that served me was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. There was a small delay for the order as the food is cooked fresh to order

Been for first time today after being recommended by friends. Definitely be going again. Everything spot on. Lovely friendly staff. Nice and clean. Food really good.

Best chippy in Lymm/ Grappenhall/ Thelwall/ Warrington area. Our daughter has coeliacs disease and needs to observe a strict gluten free diet. They have a separate fryer and gluten free batter. The owner and staff have a full understanding of the risks cross-contamination. The fish & chips are amazing. We’ve been here many times and never had any issues. Definitely recommend to anyone. The only chippy we come to. Worth all the awards it has won for sure, and worth our 20 min drive also!

Excellent staff Brilliant service and very cheap chips 🍟 lovely tasty and hot they also do Chinese meals at affordable prices disabled access yes not to busy when we went well worth a visit if your passing on a day trip or if you live keep up the fantastic work 😀
