Fast service, food always nice, wife said it has the best hot and sour soup in Liverpool, update, sue and John have now retired, maybe not the best soup 🍲 anymore, still a good chippy, see how things go

Tasteless, dry, and stodgy food and we only got the basics, such as chips, curry, and rice. It's been here for a long time but feel like it has gone down hill.

Best chips ever tried loads of other chippies but this is the best by far

My only gripe is it's cash only. Why would you operate a cash only business in this day and age? I think I know the answer, but for me that means I only occasionally visit.

I love tung fong, my favourite chippy in oldswan, chips are nice and fresh, the savoury cakes are delicious not like pancakes 😋 and there chicken wings are lovely, the staff are very polite

Our local, and go to “chippy” it’s amazing. Highly recommend. Food is always fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced. Staff are always helpful. A real gem in the middle of a busy community.

Best family chippy, have been going since I was a kid. Their gravy and curry sauces are amazing!! Really reasonable prices as well

Food safety Audit needs to visit this place this an emergency🆘. I went to this takeaway today ordered my Wings and chips. What they did they took my chips to the back in the kitchen and bring it back put it the oil I believe they swapped to the yesterdays left over food, I could tell from the facial expressions they were speaking their language but the issue was the chips cause the old lady was reheating my chips and testing and two ladies came together to check if their plan will work. Please customers be aware don't buy in this takeaway avoid them they take advantage of people who support them. They don't deserve even 1 star

Just had the Chicken and Cashew meal and the chicken is absolutely vile its all slimy and looks uncooked its awful. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Will not be visiting again ever. All went in the bin horrible meal ruined.

what is there to say. reading reviews for this place i thought it would be at least ok. wrong. the only thing i can say is that the people who buy from here never go anywhere else, so have nothing to compare it to. it is diabolical. special fried rice, a congealed lump of well i can't say, barbecue spare ribs. well imagine a big of bone about thumb size, that was them. rock hard very overcooked. the only edible items and they weren't great were the spring rolls. it mostly went in the bin and i was absolutely starving, so that says it all. i made a plate of toast which i really enjoyed. never in my wildest imagination did i think anywhere in this day and age could dish up such rubbish in the guise of food.

First visit and we had, chips and gravy and egg fried rice. The gravy was delicious. Gentlemen serving was informative and helpful. I would recommend this establishment.

This is our local and favourite chippy! The staff are lovely and very welcoming. The food is affordable and the portions are considerably generous. Salt and Pepper Chicken dishes are delicious! The only fault is that the meal can be quite heavy on your stomach afterwards.

This my favourite chippy, love the curry, friendly service, sometimes orders get a bit mixed up but they always sort it out.

This is our go to chippy. Foods always great. Sue and husband been there years and now the daughter works there on occasion. Granted sometimes it may be slow which is why we always phone ahead. But never had a bad meal from here. Its always busy for a reason.

Brilliant chippy. Food is really nice and never once had any problems with it. Always busy so I think that in itself says enough. Been going for many years as it's a family run business. Hopefully it will be there for many more years to come.

I'd rather walk the 10 minutes to go here than use the chippy at the top of my street. Can be long queues sometimes but that's an indicator of how good it is and definitely worth the wait.

Asked for curry and chips for my little boy, got served a tray of stale chewy warm ups. Took them back to ask for fresh and got told to leave. If they had the decency put things right I'd have overlooked it but with the disgusting response I got, I certainly won't be wasting my money on stale food and bad attitudes again.

Food was ok have had better else where it is just convenient as it is local for me. Staff aren't overly friendly including both face to face & on the phone... Can be abrupt at times.

I have been disappointed lots of times here but of late these people have just lost the plot.......customers being allowed to handle the pies before being served a "soft"one in front of my eyes was the turning point for me.....chinese meals generally ok. ......but customer service skills from John and Sue are poor beyond belief.Their two daughters have a better approach but constant bickering between mum and dad is off putting. ....only go there because it is so local but have decided to give it a complete swerve. Having owned a successfully fish and chip shop in the past I am qualified to comment.......give this a miss

I have been refused fish on 2 occasions here......and chips were cold......probs with fryers? No fish after 2 pm????

nice meals, average price i think, been going for years and never had a bad meal just sometimes you get warm up chips or dry, just got to time it right maybe wait longer after opening, oh and they dont deliver when i like to be lazy, but it is worth the walk. closed at the moment for about 4weeks,nooooooo lol
