The best restaurants serving Seafood food in London

Sunday, 13 October 2024 - Lunch. The restaurant set up a beautiful table setting for my family of 18 members. My Mum was unable to walk up the stairs, so immediately the host rearranged the ground level patio area to accommodate my family of 18 - beautiful table setting and overhead heaters turned on to ensure the area was warm and welcoming. The food served was excellent! Every request was accommodate both food and drink. This will be our spot for family lunch/dinner get togethers/ family reunion, going forward! :-)

Avoid this pub. I live in the neighborhood. We went in for Sunday Roast. The two girls on staff clearly did not want to be there (who could blame them). We were the second table to order when the kitchen opened. We waited 75 minutes for food, and then we were told it would be another 30 minutes minimum. We couldn’t even get starters in less than 1h and 45 minutes. Staff was unapologetic, and told us we could leave and they would refund our food. So we left.

1st time buying always drive by. Saw lunch offer deal for 6.99 which could been 4.99 in my opinion to be honest for the size. Not happy as they forgot my pickle instead gave me pickled onion! 😞 so sad . It was ok but 7£ the portion could beeen atleast 2% MORE.

Recently tried the battered cod and chips from this place, and it was a delight! Generous portions and absolutely delicious. The batter was crispy, the fish was tender, and the chips were just right. Plus, the service was fantastic - definitely recommend giving it a try!

Today is my first time that I have visited this store, especially since i heard a lot of postive reviews about this shop, and the chips are pretty good. The only small issue that I have is that not only could I not taste the salt in it but because the chips were in a container and wrapped in white paper, it made the chips taste a bit wet but that was probably down to the heat of the chips. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here.

Generous portions, perfectly cooked fish, chips just as I like them...and lovely friendly service. The large Haddock was spot on!

Fine fish and chips from the Stahl in Borough Market. A pound or two more expensive than it should be, though.

lovely person served me and didnt hesitate to give me a custom lunch of pork shoulder and salad, no bun . needless to say , the pork shoulder was amazing , basically melt in your mouth. 100%%%

I got a portion of cod bites for £4 and a large chips for £3.90. Cod bites were lovely but very very small and thin, one portion is probably equivalent to 1/4 of a fillet of cod. I'd get two if I were to buy again. Chips were fairly standard, maybe a little bit too oil-soaked and not quite as crispy as you'd want them. Overall a very OK offering.
