Mammasantissima Restaurant in City of London, Westminster

Tuvimos la noche más fantástica en este fabuloso restaurante. Fui allí para celebrar el 30 cumpleaños de mi hija. No podríamos haber elegido un lugar mejor! La comida era genial, la decoración era fabulosa, los cócteles para morir (mejor martini expreso que he tenido) gran ambiente de fiesta. El personal era brillante y nos entretuvo toda la noche. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra noche y nos divertimos mucho. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente.

Absolutamente fabuloso. La decoración, el ambiente desde el momento en que llegas te tratan como uno de la familia. Maravilloso personal amable tan atento a todas sus necesidades. ¡La comida! Por dónde empiezo, sin duda el mejor italiano que he tenido. Todo está muy bien presentado el tamaño de la poción increíble, la calidad está fuera de este mundo. What a little Jem, the food is incredible , the atmosphere is great , The owner and waiters are fantastic and very very welcoming, The food is typical Neapolitan, best ingredients and incredible taste , From gnocchi to pasta and all at a reasonable price, PURE CLASS.

We went back to Mamma Santissima and it was as good as ever. The pasta dishes are all superb and Antonio does a terrific job at the pizza oven. We had a delicious bottle of red wine from Puglia served at absolutely the correct temperature. Service: outstanding. Being served by Fulvio is a treat in itself. A wonderful experience. We will be back.

Mai mi sarei aspettata di mangiare una vera e ottima pizza a Londra! Poi sono stata in questo locale e ho avuto una grande sorpresa. Prima di tutto l’accoglienza: i proprietari e il personale sono gentilissimi con tutti e ti accolgono come se fossi a casa, i prodotti sono quelli italiani e di prima qualità. Anche le porzioni risultano abbondanti (cosa rara per Londra). Il rapporto qualità - prezzo risulta veramente conveniente. Ringrazio di cuore tutti, Francesca in primis, per aver portato un pezzo di Italia a Londra

Firstly the owner completely racially abused us, staff were fine but owner was very aggressive and screamed at us telling to eat at a curry house. Never have I experience racism from any establishment, they have no shame and did it front of their own customers. The lobster bowl is completely over rated and over priced. Quality of their sea food is terrible, racism aside the food was below average. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This spot is great for a bit of a laugh and to experience the quirkiness London has to offer. The owner Francesca is very friendly, generous and a fantastic photographer. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient. The seafood basket was absolutely fantastic. Its perfect to share between 2 people and is more than enough.

My wife and I were on a weekend away in London, and had booked a table here on Fork (a restaurant booking site), and were looking forward to some pizza after a long day. We'd received a confirmation from Fork that the table was booked and all was in order. However, when we got to the restaurant, which was jam packed with far too many tables, we were dismissively told by an unpleasant and aggressive woman with blue hair that we hadn't booked a table. She never even bothered to check, just snapped at us like a junkyard dog. She then proceeded to tell us to "go and wait outside", which we did. Nobody came to ask if we wanted a drink at one of the outside tables, and we sat there in a state of disbelief for a while before having to go and try to find somewhere else last minute on a Saturday night. I'm in my 40s, and I can honestly say that I have never been treated so rudely in a restaurant in my entire life. I get the impression that this is a place for locals, and the blue haired woman's cronies, who no doubt fuel her planet-sized ego. Anyone else is clearly not welcome - my advice would be to go somewhere your custom will be appreciated.

Visited on the weekend to celebrate my Father's birthday - three generations with my children. Quirky little family Italian restaurant with a lot of heart. The kids had pizza (they were flexible about toppings for them), the adults had seafood pasta which was great. For dessert the staff came out with a dessert with a candle in and a mic and sang my Dad a birthday song. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy a place with personality.

This place is a real gem and a great addition to the area The service is wonderful, we were very well looked after by the manager and waiter. Food was delicious - excellent wood fired pizza and really good desserts, with the best banoffee pie. We had a really lovely evening in a fabulous venue. Highly recommend !

Took my mum out for lunch and we had a great time - staff fantastic; food exquisite and great coffee. All in all a really good experience - a real family run Italian.

We went to dine here , we ended up paying an expensive bill and felt very sick the day after ( all 4 of us !!! ) the chef was ILL we could hear his coughs from our table. Avoid this place. Pity about all the rest. This guy the owner is also very aggressive towards clients. Very very Bad

What a fabulous little Italian restaurant! Great ambiance, eclectic, a little crazy decor wise and such lovely warm friendly staff. We had 2 great pasta dishes and an excellent very reasonably priced red wine. The menu is not your standard Italian menu, such variety and something for everyone. The pizzas look incredible so will have one next time. The Manager with the blue hair is fabulous and clearly the chef cooks in a very authentic way, presenting high quality food.

Disappointing experience. The problem with this restaurant is not the staff but the owner! The lady is highly frustrated. They had a few mistakes and we highlighted this to them and her ego kicked in and just got angry “why we are complaining and being rude”. In hospitality industry there is one rule always smile and apologise to contain the situation and try to fix it. (i.e SERVICE). This goes for a single family restaurant or a international restaurant chain.

This is not just a restaurant, it is a total experience. It is run by Francesca who is larger than life and does a terrific job both in the kitchen and front of house. The food is excellent. The decor is wild and over the top. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. These people have been in the area for many years and have guests who return time after time. A wonderful addition to Boundary Road.
