Cod bites over cooked, battered sausage burnt, donner kebab burnt. Chips were absolutely beautiful and the curry sauce was really nice. Such a shame.

Disappointed this week - batter was dry and hard on sausages & spam particularly- not up to their usual standard. Delivery time was altered mid transaction. Far from satisfied with our meals today.

Absolutely disgusting fish and chips .Dry hard long and thin cod .It had more batter than fish . It tasted horrible not cooked in clean oil. Chips were mushy and smelt of bad oil. Service was poor . I will never go there for fish and chips and advise people to do the same if they don't want to be disappointed . These people should stick to selling diner kebabs .

Fast delivery and food was lovely really enjoyed it .

The fish was very over cooked almost inedible, th fish also looked as if it was cooked last night and just heated up. The chips were also overcooked, very poor quality of food, won't be ordering from here again, will be using The Codfather down the road

DO NOT GO !!! WORSE FISH AND CHIPS I HAVE EVER HAD !!! Where do I start … the fish was meant to be a large but instead looked like the fish went on a diet … the pie how could you mess up a pie but they did .. it tasted old … the gurkin (yes I know how could they mess that up ) but the gurkin was warm not COLD !!! And lastly and the worse of all the chips where dry, oily and just horrid .. one of the chips was completely brown/black. oh and we asked for lots of salt and vinegar only to find NO salt and vinegar on the chips … 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

ETA was 1 hour after order, and still didn't arrive on time. Fish was small. I'd rather have a bigger fish and less chips (got large expecting generous portion but got loads!) No option for a large fish and chips order, as this would have been useful, rather than selecting individually. All tastes very good though!!!!

Loves the traditional fish and chips, love the pasties and pies to with some curry sauce cannot go wrong.

Poor Food quality. Chips were burnt and from the day before, completely tasteless. Buttered Roll was stale and like a brick. Food went in the bin. I will stick to the Cod Farther in West Drayton in the future.

was going to order from stobys because of 40% discount but they cancelled my order this has happened a few times I think it's due to a review I gave along time ago so ordered from west Drayton fish bar and everything was perfect.

The food quality all the food they sell is really really poor quality but expensive, THEY SELL LEFT OVER FOOD FROM THE DAY BEFORE don't waste your time buying food there

Great haddock and chip shop chips mmmmm

Ordered online. Came quickly. Food wasn’t fresh. Dry hard reheated food. Paid over £16 - £10+ for thin long cod with more batter than fish. Oil wasn’t clean, chips had lots of brown pieces on. Better to go into shop and tell them to cook fresh. Rip off online they give you all the food they couldn’t sell the day before. I will never order online again from this fish bar. I wish the Chinese family were still there serving, they knew to cook fresh. I would prefer to wait longer for fresh cooked food. Crisis for living and they rip you off, disgusting. Can’t get a refund online either so had to give this review. BEWARE!!!!!

fish and chips perfect not overflowing in oil like other chip shops battered sausage perfect best chip shop on just eat and I know because I've tried them all. delivery person very polite and patient.good size of fish and decent portions of chips will continue to order from here.

Only problem was ordered a can of coke but the can was never sent with meal so lost out on money for it

Plain chicken in burger. No salad or sauce as requested. Completely dry and no taste. Kebab was average. No garlic or mint sauce as requested. Will not order again for these reasons. More attention to detail needed.

Was amazing and fish was spot on only complaint is the chips didn't go down so well with the Wife but distance travelled and the fact not fresh for chip shop chips we will take it and also fish and chips delivered, (driver was top by the way very friendly) is awesome.

First time ordering from here. Ordered a kofta in pita, dry no taste, not Much meat, soggy bread. Also ordered a meat and chips wasn’t so bad but asked no salad and it came with all the salad. No flavour to the meat has to add my own seasoning and the chips were cold.

Have been coming to this fish and chip shop for over 20 years but since recent change of owners it has gone downhill. Chips are unpleasant, kebab meat is grisly. Very disappointing, won’t be going back.

Good food but chips were not as fresh as previously

Used to be my favorite now it’s horrible. Portions are tiny, chips taste old and grumpy staff. Lost a loyal costumer. Any other fish and chip shop will be better than this place.

Fish was ok, batter wasn't to my liken and the chips were horrible. Very disappointed overall. The delivery man rang me up for directions which he wasn't too far off. Bless him

Not sure what has happened of late, but we had kebab and chips. Asked for well done meat, and, nope. Barley cooked. And within my 3 minutes drive home, it was cold. Had to finish the cook of the meat in the pan and reheat the chips. Didn't not enjoy our meal at all. Back to Codfathers for us from now on.

Fish was cooked fresh, so had to wait a little while but was happy to, everything was really hot. Been here a few times now and everyone the fish and chips have been very nice.

They make it fresh from dipping into better to frying... I think this are really one of the best for fish and chips.

Ordered large cod & chips & large lamb Donna kebab on evening of 13 November 2021. Fish was under cooked, chips were double fried tasted awful. Donna kebab was cold salad placed into separate plastic container & dripping wet. Pitta bread was not cooked tasted awful. I requested small amount of salt on chips and chilly sause was lumpy & cold. Worst cod & chips & lamb Donna kebab I ate. Feeling unwell two days after the meal. I believe I have suffered mild food poisoning. Have stomach ache & vomiting & Diarrhoea. I believe the current management don't care about food quality & presentation. Poor hygiene from staff .

Living within 2 minutes from the chippy is perfect for me, no need to use uber for delivery. I've only been twice so far, but the service is professional and the staff are are quick. The chip portions are good and I have to say the fishcakes are amazing. For anyone not yet used this chippy, please do, you won't be dissaponted. I'll be popping in at lunch time for some chips.

Went in to order chips and said they were closed. At the same time they taking other orders. The guy had to ask the other guy if they were open while still serving others. Just close the door next time :/

First time back there since they took over the fish bar did not think much of it back then but thought I give it another try ad been a long time and I will say it was a nice bit of fish and chips was plenty will go again 3 and 1/2 stars

Ordered the haddock from Deliveroo. Prompt delivery and the haddock was very good and filling. Only disappointing thing for me, which was no fault of Drayton Fish Bar was the haddock didn't come with chips! Lesson for me, would've been nice to have tried the chips!

Ordered kebabs from here through Uber the kebabs had no sauce as requested on the order not only that the tray was full of grease the pitta was soppy and dripping grease was not fit to eat three kebabs went in the bin Uber customer service is shocking they want to refund less than £4 for a £32 order absolutely disgusting

First time at this chippy and I'll definitely return. Chips are cooked just right, very tasty. The haddock is very meaty, full of flavour and the batter is golden and tasty. One of the best fish and chip dinners I've had in a long time.

Ordered with uber eats. I always order from.here but last 3 orders have been below average. I gave em a chance because food has been good in the past. But 3 times in a row now..there either food missing or very cold and all they do is blame uber eats. Once i can understand but not 3 times. I WILL NOT EAT FROM HERE AGAIN!!

No social distancing was being practiced customers standing and chatting away without masks but being served food anyway . Cash being taken freely then food being handled soon after. The fish was under cooked very soggy. Chips were nice and fresh no scraps just full chips. Service was ok!

One word the sums all up is CRAFTY they will give fresh chips when you order online but if you go to the chippy place to buy they will give you a mixed of old ones and fresh ones, they will place the worst ones at the bottom of the take away bag ,we didn’t enjoy our meal properly.

I give two stars only because it was freshly cooked. I arrived at lunchtime and requested fish and chips. I was not made aware of their "lunchtime small fish and chips special" and so recieved and was charged for a standard fish and chips. Together with a drink and a small helping of curry sauce set me back £9.50 The fish was small in my opinion. Batter pulled clean away from the fish when I tried to split it in half. The fish was slimy and not in anyway flakey. I can't say I've had a worse fish and chips ever. . Would recommend you look at the alternative fish restaurant, I certainly will. This was a first and last.

Just had a small fish and chips from here slightly on the greasy side but not too bad at all. Has a small portion of fish and the half chips but in my opinion this is pretty large meal still was unable to finish. Staff were friendly and pretty fast service.

Not the best but still ok. Quite expensive.staff are ok. It used to be so much better.(edit) sorry but I thought I would give it another try today so ordered a large chips. It took nearly 20 min so not what I'd call fast food.they apologised for the delay and said they were busy. I went at teatime and assumed they would realise they were going to be busy and would have put extra chips in. Wont be going back until there customer service improves
