The chips where really nice and crispy just how i like them, the sausage was really nice too The portion was also perfect. No complaints at all great customer service also.

I’ve been ordering food from Hillingdon Fish Bar for a wee while, now, and have been impressed from the outset: deliveries are invariably in good time, delivered with genuine warmth and respect, and producing hot, well-wrapped food. The food itself is fabulous! Haddock & Chips could probably feed two, is utterly delicious with crispy batter and really, really good chips! Chicken is tip top, Spring and Curry Rolls quite scrumptious and the Pineapple Fritters take me back decades to a fish & chip van in Helston that I used to frequent when a student. I’ve tried quite a few fish and chip shops in the Uxbridge area, but Hillingdon Fish Bar tops the lot. Well done, you guys: I won’t be trying anywhere else, unless something pretty drastic happens!

Had really exceptional experience here, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to the lady owner whose hospitality was so great. Highly appreciate that.

Absolutely delicious fresh food . I ordered the masala fish and chips both fried to perfection and tasted so fresh. Had to recommend it to my friend I was speaking to on what's app at the time . Not sure if I could ever eat the traditional fish and chips again. So spicy and lovely.

this place is absolutely horrible and so unprofessional. i had asked for a regular and large, to which i received 2 regulars and been charged for a large. bones in my chicken. burnt chips. i had called the company to complain and she was extremely rude, told me i was wrong and hung up. NEVER coming back again

I ordered large chips today and found that this place cook their chicken sausage, turkey sausage, fish and their chips all in the same oil. In addition they also cook frozen beef burgers and veg spring rolls in this oil. Not sure i could visit this place again.

I find it quite pleasant to eat here when I'm in the area, the food is good and the people are helpful.

I just ordered from them via Just Eat. The order was accepted - though the delivery time quoted was much longer than that advertised on Just Eat - and then after a few minutes I get two texts from Just Eat to say the order is cancelled as I requested. I didn't cancel. I rang Hillingdon Fish Bar only to be told that they cancelled it because the driver didn't want to deliver "..it's a long way.." and "..we don't like hotels..". Why then do they allow their service to be advertised by location on Just Eat. Awful customer service and attitude.

Not sure if same company we used to use over 2 decades ago. All can say is thank you very much. A very large portion (what we asked for)! Quality cod and good Ol fashioned chips. Very filling ate some in the morning whoops. Even fussy cat well enjoyed too. Recommend for sure. Oh quick and hot. We shall be back ;-) sorry no photos perhaps next time xx;-

Said my order was delayed on just eats, then I rang at 9 he said just left be couple mins. Then still nothing I rang again at 9:30 he was then having a debate with other staff sounded like he was putting things in a bag and then put the phone down. I then rang again and no one answers. Absolutely appalling!!!!!

Delicious!! Fresh fish, crispy chips & good service

Excellent fish and chips cooked in Vegetable Oil I have just eaten an excellent rock salmon and chips from the Hillingdon fish bar ,Marlborough parade uxbridge rd. I have been looking all over Hillingdon to find a fish bear that doesn’t cook in Palm oil that is just dreadful for your arteries. The lady gives you a good portion of chips. Good fish and you can have a spicy sauce if you wish and piri piri salt on your chips.

They told me that the meat was pork free and halal but that really was not the case. If u are a halal eater or don’t eat meat or don’t eat pork don’t go as they lie. The lady in the shop is very rude to both customers and to her staff.

Use this place at your peril on 2 occasions we have failed to receive deliveries in the last 3 months on both occasions we phoned the fish bar and the driver said he couldn't find us we never got our money back

The chips port are appealing and when you ring and complain either the owner shouts at you or puts the phone down . I ordered from just eat and she complains we live too far

Have the nerve to accept a delivery order and then cancel it for no apparent reason. Don't worry, because of this, I discovered a better, local, really really good and DECENT chip shop/restaurant. Also, it seems they don't think reviewers warrant replies. Not for me cheers!

Serves a massive amount of food. Some of the best food to cost ratio I'm the area.

Got take away fish & chips and samosas for our last meal in the UK before returning to the US. Service was great as they accommodated us reducing our orders of chips after we saw the huge portions. Fish was good and crispy, the samosas we're very tasty. Definitely recommend this chippy!

Rather than order online, we went there in person and they put on a fresh batch of fish and chips ...and we all enjoyed, not sure if it was better than anywhere else however. I think the chips could be a bit crispier, but I like them soft.

ordered a kebab with pitta,when it turned up it was just meat no pitta,when i called them the woman in the shop, was a bit matter of fact and had no interest what i was telling her.She said it dont come with pitta what i ordered ,i said im looking at my order now and it does.I drove to the shop to even show her because she was not having any of it,and still said on her reciept its come through as meat only.I told her obviously you will get this with other orders then,she reckons im the first one.What a load of rubbish.The way she speaks they have lost my custom.

I loved having Calamari with Chips 🍟 and the curry sauce was very tasty

Very bad the lady working there speak very bad I will not go again in this shop I recommend all not go this shop .. very bad shame on you … I just said these put the tomato sauce on the chips she said it’s not free it’s 50 p what the hell I got burger meal I spend £5 is 50p is expensive I can pay but the way of talking is not well I will not go again this shop

Amazing fish and chips. We have eating here since it opened and never have had a bad fish and chips. Always super crispy, fish and chips are perfect and the service for delivery is always on time! The owner is amazing and takes true pride in the restaurant - a rare quality!

First time here , we Had a delivery, which took over an hour ,Asked for the large cod and chips, which was the smallest piece of fish I’ve ever seen( like a kids portion)food was cold , truly awful experience and will never be going anywhere near the place again. Not even sure y I gave 1 star, it really deserves none.

The food was awful. The chips were fried in old oil and the curry sauce had no taste and was so watered down. The worst I’ve ever eaten

Been going here for couple years now & wont go any where else. An extra 5 minutes wait time is worth knowing your food is always freshly cooked. Quality of food has always been consistent every time, strongly recommend.

We have been using this fish bar for several weeks, the food is delicious, the chips are golden and fluffy and portions are generous, it is clean and efficient and staff are very friendly, Please try the spicy cod chunks as they are yummy as is the scampi and cod, indeed we as a family have had excellent food every time. I am more than happy to give five stars.

I love this fish n chip shop, I started with a one off purchase as curiosity & it’s now a regular Friday night treat. The spicy cod chunks are delicious, chicken burger too. Staff are friendly & place is clean & tidy. Very generous portions as well.

Quality fish & chips shop, it is always fresh, never had a problem. The staff are friendly and welcoming, portion sizes are generous too.

Great food with great service. Ordered many times over Uber Eats and in person, and received exactly the same service. Portion size are brilliant, with food always piping hot. This has now become my new local.

The food is great 👍 but expect to be a little delayed due to uber eats or just eat jumping the que.

Promptly received order but tango orange was missing. Massive large cod which was nice, the portion of chips was probably the largest we have ever seen enough for six people, but was very dry & could only eat a few, the rest went into freezer. After surveying other chippies in the area, this was the only one with a food hygiene rating of 5, top Mark's for that.

The best chips I’ve ever tasted (and I’m a chip expert ... ) the kebab was also delicious, Friendly staff, place very clean and observing social distancing. Been going to our local chippy in hayes for 10 years which I thought had the best chips but this beats it hands down. Definite recommend a visit.

When I went to eat there, the food was very tasty,it was delicious.The service was very good

Ordered our meal at 5.30pm and after calling and calling with no answer it finally arrived at 8pm. We accept it's busier on a weekend but 2 and a half hours is no acceptable. We loved the food from here but we won't be ordering again.

Been going here for years and food is always spot on! Piping hot, customer service amazing as usual. Never disappoints.

I have better fish and chips here then when i was in devon and i ate at a 5 star chip shop.

We have been getting our fish and chips delivered over the past year or so and have been very happy with the service. Portion sizes are genourous and the fish is delicious. The gentleman that delivers is very friendly and it's usually delivered between 30 and 40 mins.

Over the last few weeks we have noticed the chips are getting worse they are burnt and we have loads of bad bits that we end up throwing quite a few away and it's getting more and more every week .... gonna try elsewhere which is a shame as their fish is really nice

First time ordering from here and as someone with a lot of experience in customer service I must say the man that delivered the food was lovely, friendly and provided fantastic customer service. The food itself was still nice and hot upon delivery. We did not find the food greasy and oily like some fish and chip shops yet it still provided the satisfying taste of having a chippy. The portions are generous and I found it good value. So all in all, great food, great service and great prices! Will order again

I come to Hillingdon Fish Bar when ever I am in the area from my home in Wiltshire. The service is always good and the fish is cooked to order so you know its fresh. I cannot praise this establishment enough. I discovered this restaurant and take-away a few years ago and would not go anywhere else.

Hillingdon Fish Bar...my order taken by Just Eat at 18.18 and confirmed. Due to arrive, it said, 19.05. I ring the fish bar a moment ago - 19.30 - to ask where it is, as it hasn't arrived yet and I'm told they're very busy - it will be here in an hour. Disgraceful service. Why take the order if you can't provide it within the promised time? My husband is diabetic and needs to eat, which is why I rang early. Won't ever be using them again.

Waited two hours for food, called up to be told they hadn’t even started cooking our order yet and it would be at least 30 minutes more, and the woman was very condescending. What terrible customer service! I understand it might have been busy, but in that case don’t accept the order and leave people hungry!! We cancelled and ordered from a local competitor who managed to get our food to us in 30 minutes, hot and tasty. We’ll be sticking with them.

Been using this Chippy since they opened.So hard to get proper old School Fish & Chips these days but this is a close as you’ll find. Varied Menu,great service and they deliver as well if you don’t live close enough.5 Star👍🏼

Googled a local chip shop as my regular one did not pick up the phone. Driven past this place loads of times but never tried the food. Portions were generous and the food was hot and tasty! Five star food rating on the door which is always a bonus and the shop is clean. You have yourself a new customer gents, always good to support a local business.

Had a 50/50 service, half good half bad. Spent £26 on a order for the family. Sadly we couldn’t have an option to add extra sauces to our meal so I wrote a comment to ask for what extra sauce I wanted on what meals. The food came and we had one of our meals with chilli sauce which we didn’t ask for it to be on so we called up to complain and to have a new meal sent out because 1 person wouldn’t be eating. On the phone, they first told me that my message wasn’t clear but it was very clearly stated. Once they realised they couldn’t use that as an excuse, they then said they haven’t got a delivery driver to send it out so we requested a refund which I still await for. On the positive side, the kebabs are perfect!! 100% would go for a kebab again, just a shame about the service of it all.

The shop is very neat and clean and they always give freshly cooked food. Kebab, chips-and fish is awesome with their home made chilli sauce . We’ve ordered several times and now recommend our family. The food is extremely tasty and piping hot on delivery. Friendly service always beyond our expectations, best fish and chips around.
