Hot Spot Fish Bar in Hillingdon

Used to visit here regularly between 2014-2018. Back in the area and found The Hot Spot is still here and run by the same friendly family so popped in for lunch. Food is great quality and cooked fresh to order. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for over a decade, lovely staff and the food has always been top, shame the prices are slowly increasing

Just arrived from Australia and wasnt All that hungry. I ordered a hamburger +chips + soda cost $20aud. ($1=45p) The food was tasty and despite having no appetite i enjoyed my meal. The ordering was pleasant despite being busy around 5pm. A real credit to the area on a cold rainy evening.

Clearly states no salad on meat and chips with salt, onion vinegar and chilli sauce - no salt vinegar or sauce put on and put salad on instead. Waste of £15 call store and they read your order and admit they put salad on

I live in central London now but my parents live local to here and I ALWAYS have to have a Hot Spot fish and chips whenever I come back to visit. The portions are huge, it’s incredibly well-priced (especially compared to London prices!) and the homemade CHILLI SAUCE is a must have on fish and chips! The service is always so wonderful and once again- YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE CHILLI SAUCE.

Never tried this place before and thought I would give it a shot. Fish is really tasty and well cooked not dry at all! Chips are fresh cut like a proper chippy! When I called to asked if they can add extra salt and vinegar they answered really quickly and knew exactly which order mine was. Great service and great food! Will order again

The food seems to have lost its touch. I always ordered and spend £30 plus but now it’s really dropped it standards and I won’t be ordering here ever again. The chips were dry and hard not fresh. The fillet burger was tasteless. The bun was stale. The mushy peas was to watery. The curry was tasteless. The standards have dropped dramatically. Hotspot fish bar is a fantastic place to eat! The food is always so good and very fresh, portions are quite big as well. The staff is always so kind and always greets you with a smile. My favourite kebab.

Randomly walked into this store and the food is cook-to-order and amazing. The chef has a mean look, but once you started talking tk him, he is as caring as a big brother. Their food has both taste and heart. I've been to at least 2 dozen fish & chips places i. london, this is among top 3 for sure. It's a small mama & papa placde though, only seats about 7 people, so keep that in mind when you visit.
