Brancaster Staithe is a beautiful Harbour with free National Trust carpark and a loo . The Crab Shack sits in the carpark with daily fresh seafood in tubs and sandwiches. Delicious an beautifully presented run by very friendly people. Much better value than some other fresh fish outlets along the coast.

Wonderful trip yet again. Haddock was massive and was spot on. Brilliant curry sauce,all served with happy staff (sally has a great team) See you all again soon.

The food was much to be desired. We went on 12th October 2024 for some fish and chips however the battered fish and battered fish tasted very burnt / very greasy. The sausage was nice and so was the fish cake. The chips were average. The service was okay but credit card machine was broken and had to do bank transfers which linked to a personal account rather than a business account which is questionable. Probably won’t use this place again.

The owner is friendly and chatty! Very polite. The food was beautiful. It's better than the top 10 chippies in the area! Haddock tasted fresh. Everything was cooked fresh. Chips were to die for! They were so flavoursome!

Love the take away from this shop. Good quality fish in a light batter. A regular stop when in Norfolk

The food itself tastes good, but considering it’s £4.30 for a large chips, compared to other chip shops the portion isn’t very much.

Food was good, staff were friendly and food was brought out within minutes of us ordering. At £28 for both of us the price wasn’t bad either. But the only problem was we did not realise that dogs were allowed into the restaurant part. At one point there were 5 big long haired dogs near us. The dogs were wet so they smelt quite bad. We ate up has fast as we could and left. We would not go back into the restaurant part again. But next time we will just get takeaway,

Good fish and chips are not easy to get right but this place manages that. The fish was good and without too much batter and the chips were some of the best we have eaten for a while.

Good traditional chippy with very large portions Did not do Rock Eel for the full marks from me but menu was pretty good and varied.

I'm afraid the fish and chips are not good,chips were hard and cold and fish batter hard,fish not succulent.The staff were lovely though and decor great but wished we had gone to Wells .£36 lighter when we left!

Possibly the worst fish and chips ever. Fishcake was like breaded carpet underlay completely tasteless, chips cold and all tiny bits some burnt dark brown. Only decent thing was cod with light batter. But definitely won't go back.

Manor fish and chip shop food was awful. The large haddock (sold as cod) was smaller than a normal small fish portion and cost £8. The chips were the worst chips that I had ever had to throw away. Greasy, soggy, slimy and limp. Sat here feeling ripped off and hungry! Get your act together or sell up!

We go here regularly, and have done for the last 2 years. I usually have cod, chips, curry sauce, gherkin, and mushy peas, my partner has the kebab, either chicken or lamb shish, and 9 times out of 10 it's been perfect. One time they forgot a gherkin, but they rectified that on our next visit with an extra one, and another time the cod was maybe under the hot lights a little too long, but we know that they are always great otherwise. Generous portions, great taste, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.
