Manor road fish bar & kebab in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Manor fish and chip shop food was awful. The large haddock (sold as cod) was smaller than a normal small fish portion and cost £8. The chips were the worst chips that I had ever had to throw away. Greasy, soggy, slimy and limp. Sat here feeling ripped off and hungry! Get your act together or sell up!

Ordered cod and chips and chicken and chips for takeaway dinner. Chips were soggy and bland. Chicken was passable but the 2 cod were awful. Thin, dry tail ends in oily batter. Both went straight into bin! Won't be returning!

Use to really rate this place. I am local to the village. Never been a cheap kebab shop but quality was good and portions excellent. Now it’s the opposite! They literally charge restaurant prices for smaller portions. £9 for a side of halloumi. This has been the case the last few times. Sadly when you make things like this your business will slowly go under in a small village when word spreads. Real shame as I won’t be back now and used them a lot.

Not bad fish and chips. Nice staff. We were able to order in advance and collect. Good sized portions. Convenient location.

Excellent Fish & chips We walked here from our campsite and not having read any reviews did not know what to expect. The staff were polite and offered to cook our 4 portions of fish fresh as there were 2 already cooked. These are one of the best fish & chips we have eaten … no grease lovely thick fresh flakes of cod and all at a reasonable price too!

Nice kebab, but awful fish and chips Fish was very greasy and not a lot for the money. chips were soggy and bland, tasted like microwave chips.

Went last night, first time in ages. Fish and chips cooked to order. No grease, regular size larger than dinner plate. I sat in my car and order came out to me. Both staff and food fantastic. I will always go there in future. Deffinately best around

Had ordered a doner kebab to be delivered the meat and pitta bread was lovely but when I found there to be no salad I rang the restaurant to ask about the salad they said I hadn't ordered it even though it states on the website that it comes with salad in the end they never came back even though its a maximum of 10 minutes to drive. Recommend ordering over the phone because clearly they don't know their own menu

Camping at Sandringham camping club site. Very close by .the fish and chips were absolutely lovely,massive large fish,would feed two medium was big too.chips we got a portion each,lots and lots in the portion enough for two.would definitely recommend. 5*****

We tried the chicken shish and the lamb shish kebabs, both really tasty and nicely cooked with lots of salad and chilli sause. We would definetly have again. Ordered by phone and picked up, fast and friendly service.

We ordered 25 cod and chips for an event at Anmer social club. Delivered on time, piping hot in boxes,fish was gorgeous, very chunky in delicious crispy batter and plenty of chips. All our members really enjoyed it and were very complimentary. Would highly recommend.

Staying in a cottage just down the road for 4 weeks, mid omicron surge so not bothered about eating out but also fed up of cooking. Had 2 x large fish, 1 x large chips. Fairly thin fish fillet but not overly battered so acceptable and perfectly cooked. Huge portion of great chips! Cheaper than other places in North Norfolk. Not “the best” but very edible. Happy to have again (and will do). I’m a foodie but not a food snob. It is what it is.

Very expensive, food was terrible, found a metal thing in our chips! Pasty was tough as old boots the pastry was inedible. We had fish and chips Pasty and chips Salad Was £27 all in!

We were staying at a nearby caravan park and found the food poor so we decided to try the special chicken kebab large with salad from manor road kebab fish bar. The chicken was deliciously marinated tender and tasty with big chunks of chicken breast meat. Both my partner and I really enjoyed our food and I would definitely recommend that dish.

Just had to wait 10 minutes for the most delicious fresh fish and chips. Well worth waiting for. I admit this is the second time they have excelled and it would seem the secret may be to go early and out of the usual meal times so they get freshly cooked just for you. I was there about 4.30 so a bit earlier than most. The fish was lovely, white and generous in portion. The chips packed separately were lovely and crisp and plenty. Thoroughly recommended. This is a take away fish and kebab shop with a couple of small outside tables.

The food is always freshly cooked. You have to wait a few minutes until the food is ready but it is cooked in front of you. No pre-cooked meals here

Good old fashioned fish & chips at a very reasonable price. Loved the newspaper clipping on the wall in the shop; the suggestion is the Cambridges go here - true or not, it made me smile.

Stopped by on way home for a quick meal. The food was freshly cooked while I waited and the staff are very pleasant - explaining the different kebabs available. Very good.

Ordered a large mixed kebab for delivery. Food took 50 mins to arrive. Was cold & had to be heated in microwave.Was told it was enough for 2 (but not) mixed Kebab had one piece of lamb chopped into 4.Despite asking for salad, it wasn’t delivered. When I rang, they did offer to deliver the missing salad but want really prepared to wait! But to add insult to injury was told that the salad was free & not charged for. I wasn’t really looking for excuses but perhaps to be looked after or compensated next time. However, since it wasn’t forthcoming, there won’t be a next time. On the plus side, the delivery driver was pleasant and apologetic for taking so long.

Fantastic friendly staff and delicious food with lots of options available. Food is always piping hot and the fish is some of the best I have tasted. I would say they are perfect fish and chips.

I always try not to leave a "TERRIBLE" review as I'm a believer that something not quite to one's liking is far from terrible, when you see some of the world true disasters.However the haddock that we got from here when our usual chippie was closed (Snettisham beach) was indeed truly awful, so bad that not even our dog would eat it.I can honestly say that even if I had not eaten for a week and this place was giving away fish N chips for FREE it still would not be enough to tempt me to eat from here again..

On holiday in area, got take away fish and chips for 8 people. Fish and chips cooked to order. Fish (haddock and cod) fresh and batter crispy. Masses of chips. Great staff. Marked down only for overall decor and appearance.

All the takeaway food is excellent, we usually have the kebabs. The fish and chips, burgers, pizzas are all excellent. The staff are professional and friendly.

Pedimos a domicilio. Pescado llegó un poco pasada, patatas fritas sabor habían sido fritas en aceite de pescado. Me sentí muy enfermo el resto de la noche. Mi marido tenía una grandísima mezclado carne kebab y había muy poco. El costo fue decepcionante.

Sorpresa, sorpresa. Encontré este lugar por casualidad. Como vivo en un pueblo de pesca que pueden permitirse ser exigente con donde tengo mi pescado y patatas fritas, pero cuando visite lugares fuera de la ciudad de mi elección y conocimiento es limitado. No te preocupes, aquí es pescado fresco a la orden, las raciones son generosas y estaba buenísimo. Hace mi apoyo.

I go to this place when I go on holiday to Sandringham camping once a year. The food is always good quality. Fish & chips, kebabs and pizzas are all excellent. Staff are friendly too.

Llamado a un abadejo con patatas, estaba recién preparado y sin embargo, el pescado no eglefino, Dios sabe lo que era. El bateador no era crujiente, fue muy gruesas y bastante pesado. Las patatas fritas eran preciosas. No se va allí de nuevo
