Good traditional chippy with very large portions Did not do Rock Eel for the full marks from me but menu was pretty good and varied.

Two people in front of us, still took over 20 minutes to be served. The staff appeared flustered and inefficient, with one constantly bemoaning how stressed she was. The food was disgusting when it finally arrived. The chips were stale and extremely greasy, and the rest of the meal tasted unpleasant, we ended up leaving most of it. I‘d visited this chippy once previously, and though the experience was poor, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I won‘t make that mistake twice.

Been in a few times recently had cod and their superb Plaice. Very much the old fashioned chip shop lots of us crave! Prices are way better than Ely/Cambridge area. I paid 3.20 more for same items this way and not as good. Worth a stop if youre passing... you will be back!

Disgusting, wafer thin pieces of fish with lots of stodgy greasy batter . Oil had a bad taint. The smallest fillet of fish I have ever seen & terrible quality. Gave us bad tummies for the rest of our evening :(

Fabulous tasting cod and chips. Very well presented and the staff were very friendly too. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

Went early last Thursday and I can’t remember having worse fish and chips. The fish was not cooked properly and it was paper thin and poor value. The batter was uncooked on the inside and slimy. The oil had a tang . The salt and vinegar was the best bit!

Best fish and chips I've eaten along with great staff and good pricing. Overall worth a stop. Also great to sit by the river and eat

First time we visited today. Fish was very small,only do one size, greasy with a stodgy batter, but nice chips.Customer service was the most disappointing part of our visit. I waited in the queue, the staff didn't say anything like wont keep you long or hello. When I was next to be served, the older lady just started to do other things, whilst still glaring at me in an unfriendly manner, but still she didn't say anything. The younger lady finished her customer then served me, she was pleasant. Only moved to Norfolk last week and everyone else that we've met has been so friendly, this older lady in the fish shop made me feel very uncomfortable, so won't be going back.

Moored our boat at the basin and noticed this establishment so decided to give it a whirl. The Best fish and chips we have had since visiting Whitby.

Proper fish and chip shop always excellent quality and generous portion size You will never be disappointed

Best fish and chips in upwell/Outwell area!! Large variety of food and child's menu Would be nice to turn it into a cafe and to be open on a Saturday night when you most fancy a chippy tea

Fish is very good and fresh from here, chips not too bad, bit greasy for my liking but fine with vinegar and curry sauce ;) Batter bits (scratchings) are on offer. So is battered beef burger, which i've not seen for years, other types are burgers are on the menu!! Giant fish fingers are available here and are and are a hit with the kids - i think they are £1.20 from here, but meal deals are on offer too. Everything we've had from here has been eaten, tasty, and hot.

This is 100% worth the extra long drive, the best fish and chip Shop in the area! Never a bad meal! I would highly recommend

En una noche de sábado noche??? Lo que debe saber lo que están haciendo, supongo, pero en el Outwell/Upwell/wisbech area, se podía morir de hambre si buscas un lugar donde comer después de las 8 pm - a no ser que te guste las ofrendas antihigiénicos de WISBECH Kebab Shop!

Madeiran por personas locales, sin embargo, en la medida en que pueden recomponer, cerrar el sábado por la noche (a menos que éste ha cambiado recientemente) el razonamiento por lo cual es difícil de comprender para una comida para llevar.En una nota puramente personal, en las dos ocasiones que he comido productos desde allí, en los 24 años que he vivido en el pueblo, que han sufrido graves dolores de estómago inmediatamente después. A menos que éste ha cambiado, ello se debía a la comida frita (soy informado) en el sector de la carne que goteaba, lo que parece ser un punto a favor de acuerdo con la gente. No es para mí.

If there is one thing you can rely on it is consistent value, taste and enjoyment from this family run eatery. Great fish and chips at a very reasonable price.
