The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

The best cod and chips in the area. The portion size is hit and miss, but in general the quality never disappoints. Excellent little business.

this has to be the worst fish and chips ever. it was 7pm, the chips were old, dry and cold, inedible they fresh fried the fish yet is was mushy inside and so greasy, I could smell the old oil.. the batter was dark brown. Its nearly 1am and my stomach is so bad.. thank goodness I threw most of it away , a waste of £10.. will not be going thre again :(

Grim. Half cold, small portions, greasy soggy chips. Avoid. There are much nicer chippies in the area

Still the best chip shop in the area . Flaky , white fish, crispy batter , plenty of chips which were not soggy and a carton of peas. Still hot when I got home. This wa sthe all day special . Great value .

A very strange pizza place where you can only order pizza after 3 pm. Everything is covered in batter and deep fried with the haggis literally dripping fat, although it was tasty (!)

Fairly quiet as the hotel was quiet, lovely staff and great service, food was lovely, no complaints at all.

We ordered lobster roll expecting some beautifully presented lobster curled round a tasty dressing. What turned up was a scant tablespoon of chopped overcooked lobster in a cold, cheap, tasteless white finger roll of bread that would have disgraced the bargain shelf of the cheapest supermarket. It was inedible. The side of hispi cabbage was well cooked, thankfully, or I would have left feeling very hungry. There are no loos. You have to use the dimly lit and droughty public loos in the adjacent council carpark. This is possibly the worst restaurant in St. Ives.

Lovely fish & chips and very pleasant staff. Sat in the little restaurant and it was excellent. Will definitely return :)

Excellent quality - haddock was beautifully juicy and proper, traditional chips (hard to come by these days!). Great value and friendly owner too.

Always order from here Have tried a few different dishes but not all of them . . "Yet" Always tend to get a few freebies with our orders, which always arrive hot not had a cold delivery yet. Only negative with New East Ocean is the delivery time can be around either 1 hour exactly or 1 Hour 10 ... Although I have never had a cold delivery or had an order delivered wrong.

Excellent fish and chips. Friendly staff. This was my third visit to Fish R Us and the quality of food and level of service has remained high on each occasion.

Tried scampi tonight, it was very tasty.
