After waiting for over an hour for a take away then to receive a message saying order cancelled! Total rubbish

Scallop chips and fish were very grease sausages cold in the middle and kebab dry and nasty waste of money won’t bother again

The girl serving us was great. But took nearly an hour to get pretty average food. Used to be amazing with previous ownership. Now it's just a standard pub with basic food. Won't be going back.

Here for a family celebration, with a party including a frail elderly lady and an excited 7 year old. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. As always, the food was delicious - proper fish and chips in gluten free batter. Our elderly guest was able to have a child's portion to suit her appetite. Main portions would satisfy the hungriest appetite. Toilets were spotless and smelling of lavender. Parking is effectively free as the only way you can pay to park is using Ringo, but there is no wifi signal! We totally disagree with the recent negative reviews. We have been here many times and NEVER had a bad experience.

Used to love the good catch but chips looked like frozen chips but through the fryer and under cooked and fish was very poor and greasy defo gone down hill

We were really looking forward to our fish and chips having eaten here before on previous visits to Hastings and had a lovely meal. Sadly the experience wasn’t as excellent this time. There was only one person manning the fryers which for a Saturday night seemed to be not enough. Our food was hot but not piping hot like you would expect fish to be straight out of a fryer and the chips were fair and quite greasy. It’s such a shame it’s gone downhill
