The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

TLDR: This place has amazing food, even better service. Check it out!!! If there were more stars to give Thai O'CHA would get them, no question. My partner and I found this place a couple of years ago and now always return here anytime we're back in London. We're working our way through the entire menu and every dish is as good as the last, if not better (duck in oyster sauce or drunken beef are personal favourites, give them a try). But the main reason we keep coming back is the service, more specifically Emma. She always greets us (and everyone else) with a smile and is one of the most kind and diligent people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. So make sure you check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

I wasn’t even going to write a review because I honestly don’t know where to begin on this terrible experience from the food to the service. Me and my cousin had been looking for a food place to eat at before she caught her train back to birmingham which was scheduled in about half an hour from mentioned period, we specified to this to them and paid through (bank transfer?) seems like one big laundering front considering it’s either that or cash😂, charged us each to eat while sitting on some plastic chairs. Gave me the oiliest chicken burger, just not it. Now when my cousin had asked to pack her food as we were running out of time, the man behind the counter decided to hush my friend and say he was in the middle of a conversation with what appeared as one of his mates in the customer area. Cheaper clearly isn’t better. You can’t have terrible service and even worse food.

best fish and chips around here but price of cod keeps going up £13 now few months ago it was £11 this makes having fish and chips expensive and probably won't be ordering weekly as I normally do such a shame

The meal and dessert was very nice. My server, lily was nice and catering. I recommend coming here for italian 🥰

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon. Very pleasant. Staff were lovely. I made a poor choice for a starter, but my wife's was lovely. The mains were spot on, and we both had a very pleasant afternoon.

Amazing what a little golden gem, we have visited Thailand several times and we always miss the food when we come home. The staff, food and service was wonderful, it’s like having a tiny bit of Thailand in Plymouth!!! Can’t wait to come back! khop khun khâ

Everything about our meal was exceptional

Long story short, I have wanted to come here for many years, but the planets never quite aligned. Having now finally been, I will be back! Relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff and an unhurried ordering process, and food delivery to the table, make this a must for anyone visiting Ilfracombe. The only difficult part of the evening is resisting the desire to try one of everything, hence the desire to return.

We were so excited to try here whilst holidaying in Cornwall, saw online they didn't accept reservations so popped in on the off chance last Tuesday, they accomodated us at the bar but there was quite a wait for menus and drinks but that was ok due to their good reviews and atmosphere. I spoke about my allergy, the young lady on the bar wasnt aware what one dish was (raw/cured fish) which my partner would not have chosen if she was given this information (maybe she was new as was quite young) my wife never received the dish due to ridiculous wait times and the mess ups with my order. They were out of the Fal oysters so I had to have the other, which however was fine, they also were out of the Mackerel, alot of things they have sold out of, which is probably because they are rated so highly. I was asking if I could have the scallops without the milk (caper butter sauce) and then to come back and tell me it wasn't made with milk, when I pointed out "butter", anyway they substituted it for a salsa verde. What was most disappointing is they served me the allergen I had made them aware about, there was a long wait for food as well which we were aware (on the taco's), the chef shouted over the pass that he forgot and had put milk in the dish!! I had almost swallowed and had to spit out the food. For someone with a serious allergy or a child this could be life threatening. When the waitress asked him had he made a replacement about 20 mins later I think he had forgot and then they had ran out of that, another member of staff let us go when we said we will just pay the bill and leave, she decided to waiver it. We were so disappointed as we visited here after the main brewery on the industrial estate, probably should have stayed there and had pizza. Verdant is my favourite craft beer. My suggestion is you accept reservations especially if customers have allergies and most have travelled a long way to allow them to experience. Quite disappointed as we had saved a visit until the end of the holiday for a special treat, and by time we left there was no where else for food that night which completely ruined the end of our holiday as lots of places had stopped serving food by this time. My suggestion is if you have an allergy BEWARE as milk allergy should be treated the same as a sesame or a nut allergy.

Amazing customer service. Tasty food. Great craic. We turned up as a group of 11 woman with all different orders and lots of cheeky requests. The fish was fresh and melted in the mouth. We couldn’t have asked for better. Thanks guys.

Chips like my dad used to make. Tastiest chips anywhere in the uk. Fish was good the batter is lovely and crisp. A little dark coloured for some but I would say absolutely spot on for me. Great portions too
