Quite nice early dinner , the only problem was that we were make feel like thieves as the waitress followed us after we left and said that we didn’t pay, just for us to go back inside and get told that another waitress made us pay the wrong bill. This is unprofessional and it spoiled a bit our dinner

We had a great time in this Italian restaurant. The waitress Lia took great care of us. I highly recommend for families, we were a group of 9 with 4 children under 10 years old and between the well-adapted and varied children's menu and the patience of the waiters, it was perfect.

Fabulous experience dining before concert at the Royal Festival Hall. Food and drinks were served promptly. Antipasto, pizza and pasta all prepared to perfection and full of fresh flavour. Kasia gave us a warm welcome and attended to us throughout with love and devotion; top customer service. I recommend booking a table, as the restaurant gets very busy with people attending events at Southbank Centre. Highly recommended and location couldn’t be better.

Really busy so maybe they need more people to serve. Foods are not bad, but they missed two sides we ordered. Location is good but the view is not that good.

Wonderful experience after a flight on the London Eye.

Food was delicious however the service was a little disappointing. We felt like an inconvenience to the waiter who seated us and then watched as other customers had poor experiences with food being sent out too late or early (clashing with their starters). Everything felt a little rushed and crowded however I would recommend going during their quieter periods (we went after work).

I visited this restaurant and was truly impressed! Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, but most of all, I want to highlight the outstanding service from Iryna. She was very attentive, friendly, and professional. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The food was nice and ready quite som after we ordered it. It was a bit cold and windy, but we found a nice spot. The Music in the Kitchen was a bit loud. Bit overall, if you Are near London Eye and need somerhing to eat, this could be the place.

I work nearby but this is the first time I've visited this Strada. Probably the last. Food wasn't bad quality, portion size was questionable given we were told the large antipasti platter served 4 - we opted for that and the garlic bread (which was a good size) between 3 of us and without the garlic bread it would've been mediocre at best. Mains were pretty good but the service left a lot to be desired. We arrived just after 8.15pm on a Sunday. Nobody mentioned they close at 9.30pm. We ordered drinks from a lovely waitress who shortly afterwards, told us she was leaving. No problem there. As we finished our starters, another waiter came to clear plates and told us the kitchen was closing so did we want anything else? Given we'd not even received our mains yet, we said no. Mains came out and a 3rd member of staff asked immediately after if she could leave the bill. A little abrupt but fine. She then returns 2 minutes later with the card machine, expecting us to pay when we've barely even started our main courses! The staff continued to fuss around us, clearing up even though it was 9.20pm, and offered no explanation or apology for doing so. It was a warm, sunny, Sunday evening on London's South Bank. Expecting restaurants to be open later than 9.30pm (especially when nobody has warned you it closes little over an hour after you enter) and treating customers with respect should surely be a bare minimum? If I had been a visitor to London or this had been my first experience at Strada, i certainly wouldn't have returned. As it is, I've worked nearby for 18 months and haven't visited before but would still opt for many of the other options nearby before I chose Strada again.

Very expensive glass of average wine and food unremarkable. Service was average, friendly staff but didn't seem to know what they were doing .

Food its ok .Just the waitress spilled coffee on my pants and I didn't say anything or apologize.The food was for 57 pounds ,but put VAT 20 percentage and 12.5 for service charge but it total I pay 98 £ I dont now for what???I do not recommend.

Booked a early table! Restaurant was full so we sat in a quieter section which was lovely. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Food was really good. And it arrived quickly. Highly recommend for somewhere to eat on Southbank .

The pizza here is great! We ordered the Margherita and the Salsiccia & Friarielli. The Margherita was really good but just needed some fresh Basil and the Salsiccia is amazing! Also, if they don't offer it ask for the infused olive oil - great dipper for the crust.

I had a fantastic meal here and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The Bucatini Carbonara was not only hot and tasty but also had a generous portion that felt worth every penny. We were attending Fascinating Aida at the Festival Hall. The restaurant is on the premises and the meal was exactly as expected. Service was quick and was the beginning of a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We spent a very nice New Year's Eve in the Strada and were then able to experience the New Year's Eve fireworks, so to speak "under the London eye": impressive! The food at Strada was quite good; The service and thoughtfulness of the managing director Matheo was impressive. All in all a successful evening. I can absolutely recommend the Strada, even if it gets a little hectic here and there (that's nice in an Italian way). Hence 5 stars.

Good food, felt like we were being rushed out. Kids food arrived within 2 minutes which felt too quick. Staff were maybe a little too attentive

The food isn't great, no vegan options unless you remove a bunch of ingredients. Pizza was mediocre.

Racist server/v rude. 3-5 of them at a time would stand and be chatting and not looking towards the tables at all. The food came cold except for the inside part of the linguini pasta. Calamari was not crispy at all. Pizza came with lines but wasn’t actually cut. There was a weird taste in the margarita pizza. Asked for a cup with ice and it came melting already. Guy wearing half a sleeve tshirt was nice. They had nice kid menus as well. Their staff need to fix up. I think even the manager ignored my hand raised asking for help.

Poor food, blood on the plate with the steak. Cold chips in a hot bowl. Pretty bland overall. Forgot the side for my childs meal and missing cutlery (spoon for pasta and knife for steak). Better options around the area.

The first time I came last year with my boyfriend, I had a steak and he had a pizza, very fast service and very kind waiters. I confirm everything, having come a second time at the beginning of December with two friends, including one with celiac disease. They gave her a special menu, and she ate a delicious carbonara. The method of scanning the QR code to pay and split the bill is also excellent. I hope to return a third time! well done everyone!!

Extremely disappointing experience at Strada Southbank. The food was barely passable—poorly presented, and one member of our party couldn’t even eat their pasta as it was so overcooked it resembled mush. The house red wine was equally subpar; we left most of it untouched. To make matters worse, we were seated in a makeshift area in the Southbank Centre hallway, which lacked any atmosphere and had wobbly tables. Overall, it was a letdown on every front. I wouldn’t recommend this place and certainly won’t be returning.

Very disappointed. Ate my meal and at the end found a big black hair in my side dish. Told the waitress who removed the cost of the dish only. Then we were told to pay using a QR code, which showed a 15% service charge. Just felt really disgusted because I'd bitten into some random person's hair. So busy you were nearly sat on the lap of the people next door

I had a pre-theatre meal of spinach & cheese ravioli with a glass of red wine, then ice cream and coffee. The food was very good and the service was efficient and friendly. Even though it was very busy, the staff were great. I only wanted a single scoop of ice-cream and they were happy to do this and reduce the price accordingly. Definitely recommend.

The food was just okay—nothing special or memorable. What really stood out, unfortunately, was the staff’s behavior. Even though the place wasn’t busy, the staff spent their time play-fighting with each other, which was incredibly distracting and unprofessional. It made the atmosphere unpleasant and took away from the experience. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t rush back anytime soon.

Food was ok, service felt rushed with the food coming out before we finished the starter. Also i'm not a fan of automatically charging a 12,5 gratuity. That should depend on the service and food.

Pizza was delicious; However, the potatoes with the chicken breast are not completely cooked through. Unfortunately a drink was forgotten to be brought; However, it was brought quickly as I remembered. Wasn't a big problem now. However, the glass of water with the meal is good. What is annoying, however, is the service fee of 12.5 percent! This was not mentioned before and payment does not work online if the internet is poor. Cash payment is also not possible. The service fee can only be found on the invoice after payment by card. Of course you would give a tip, but simply asking for a fee like that is a bit cheeky.

Loved the food and the service. One of the best risottos I’ve had in London. Quite pricey as it was ~ 45pp but considering the food quality and location it’s worth it. The only downside is how smelly women’s toilet was🤢🤢🤢…hope the restaurant management can fix this issue otherwise it would’ve been a near-perfect dining experience.

I went here with my family for dinner. It was a very pleasant environment. We have some challenging dietary requirements but Dom Phillips (our waiter) was very understanding and patient. He gave us an excellent service and ensured we were satisfied with everything. The food was very prompt and exceptionally tasty. Dom was very careful to ensure he checked to ensure everything we ordered was suitable for our dietary reqs. Thank you for a great experience.
