Food is not too bad, pretty decent I must admit. Ambience decent as well, during summer days it's splendid to sit out. Just few, I reiterate just few are there who I felt are not so polite as they should be

We went for a family gathering at Christmas. The restaurant was packed, the service was excellent and the food, for what it is, was great.

We were attending Fascinating Aida at the Festival Hall. The restaurant is on the premises and the meal was exactly as expected. Service was quick and was the beginning of a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We spent a very nice New Year's Eve in the Strada and were then able to experience the New Year's Eve fireworks, so to speak "under the London eye": impressive! The food at Strada was quite good; The service and thoughtfulness of the managing director Matheo was impressive. All in all a successful evening. I can absolutely recommend the Strada, even if it gets a little hectic here and there (that's nice in an Italian way). Hence 5 stars.

The staff were outstanding especially Florin was amazing effortlessly ensuring everything was running smoothly and perfect. Good food, felt like we were being rushed out. Kids food arrived within 2 minutes which felt too quick. Staff were maybe a little too attentive

The food isn't great, no vegan options unless you remove a bunch of ingredients. Pizza was mediocre.

Racist server/v rude. 3-5 of them at a time would stand and be chatting and not looking towards the tables at all. The food came cold except for the inside part of the linguini pasta. Calamari was not crispy at all. Pizza came with lines but wasn’t actually cut. There was a weird taste in the margarita pizza. Asked for a cup with ice and it came melting already. Guy wearing half a sleeve tshirt was nice. They had nice kid menus as well. Their staff need to fix up. I think even the manager ignored my hand raised asking for help.

Poor food, blood on the plate with the steak. Cold chips in a hot bowl. Pretty bland overall. Forgot the side for my childs meal and missing cutlery (spoon for pasta and knife for steak). Better options around the area.

The first time I came last year with my boyfriend, I had a steak and he had a pizza, very fast service and very kind waiters. I confirm everything, having come a second time at the beginning of December with two friends, including one with celiac disease. They gave her a special menu, and she ate a delicious carbonara. The method of scanning the QR code to pay and split the bill is also excellent. I hope to return a third time! well done everyone!!

Extremely disappointing experience at Strada Southbank. The food was barely passable—poorly presented, and one member of our party couldn’t even eat their pasta as it was so overcooked it resembled mush. The house red wine was equally subpar; we left most of it untouched. To make matters worse, we were seated in a makeshift area in the Southbank Centre hallway, which lacked any atmosphere and had wobbly tables. Overall, it was a letdown on every front. I wouldn’t recommend this place and certainly won’t be returning.

Very disappointed. Ate my meal and at the end found a big black hair in my side dish. Told the waitress who removed the cost of the dish only. Then we were told to pay using a QR code, which showed a 15% service charge. Just felt really disgusted because I'd bitten into some random person's hair. So busy you were nearly sat on the lap of the people next door

I had a pre-theatre meal of spinach & cheese ravioli with a glass of red wine, then ice cream and coffee. The food was very good and the service was efficient and friendly. Even though it was very busy, the staff were great. I only wanted a single scoop of ice-cream and they were happy to do this and reduce the price accordingly. Definitely recommend.

The food was just okay—nothing special or memorable. What really stood out, unfortunately, was the staff’s behavior. Even though the place wasn’t busy, the staff spent their time play-fighting with each other, which was incredibly distracting and unprofessional. It made the atmosphere unpleasant and took away from the experience. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t rush back anytime soon.

Food was ok, service felt rushed with the food coming out before we finished the starter. Also i'm not a fan of automatically charging a 12,5 gratuity. That should depend on the service and food.

Pizza was delicious; However, the potatoes with the chicken breast are not completely cooked through. Unfortunately a drink was forgotten to be brought; However, it was brought quickly as I remembered. Wasn't a big problem now. However, the glass of water with the meal is good. What is annoying, however, is the service fee of 12.5 percent! This was not mentioned before and payment does not work online if the internet is poor. Cash payment is also not possible. The service fee can only be found on the invoice after payment by card. Of course you would give a tip, but simply asking for a fee like that is a bit cheeky.

Terrible cuisine, only the pizza is edible, but very courteous

Beware, if you pay by QR code you are asked if you’d like to add a tip, but, a service charge has already been added. A double tip! Really??

I ate pizza, a Caesar salad and some arancini... all good... then the location is fantastic

Loved the food and the service. One of the best risottos I’ve had in London. Quite pricey as it was ~ 45pp but considering the food quality and location it’s worth it. The only downside is how smelly women’s toilet was🤢🤢🤢…hope the restaurant management can fix this issue otherwise it would’ve been a near-perfect dining experience.

I went here with my family for dinner. It was a very pleasant environment. We have some challenging dietary requirements but Dom Phillips (our waiter) was very understanding and patient. He gave us an excellent service and ensured we were satisfied with everything. The food was very prompt and exceptionally tasty. Dom was very careful to ensure he checked to ensure everything we ordered was suitable for our dietary reqs. Thank you for a great experience.

Wow, great food and delicious wine and affordable! (By London standards that is). Super friendly staff and our children (fussy eaters) also liked it. Lilly was our server and very welcoming and friendly.

Dominic our host was phenomenal and offered a wide range of recommendations which were all greatly received. Food was good and location is great.

Service was good and food came very quickly, but both pizza and pasta were very bland and tasteless. Garlic bread tasty but soggy with oil and very chewy. Despite seeing lots of garlic and tomato in the pasta sauce it managed to taste of nothing at all.

Lily was a brilliant waitress and made the whole experience incredible!! Made the whole dinner more enjoyable.

Lili was amazing today, she made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Our food was fresh and plentiful. The sticky toffee puddings were warm and delicious, not too sweet at all.

Enjoyed the last of the summer sun with my girlfriends this evening. Good selection of wine and food - we had other plans for dinner so just stayed for wine and nibbles. Great food, good and friendly service and nice location. Three stars for two reasons: - tables (especially for two people) are too small so two meals, two drinks and two glasses of water cannot all fit on the table. - watch out, they include the tip automatically, without even asking. This should not be accepted as a norm.

Great location and decent service. However the food was just terrible. Bruschetta was a single slice of really soggy bread topped with tomatoes. The penne pasta was nothing like we have eaten before. The tomato sauce it was cooked in more like a soup, the pastas was just horrible. My wife’s risotto was plain, bland and tasteless. This was one of our favourite restaurants whenever we visited London - not anymore.

Five of us came in for lunch today. I asked for some pizza, it wasn't bad, but the good one is not like that... My grandson asked for fried chicken breast - it was a shame. I don't know what British cuisine is like, but the chef at the restaurant has never eaten real fried meat, nor has he even watched a video on how to deal with pulling out a chicken breast that's left too thick. The choice of side dishes doesn't go very well either, otherwise they wouldn't give you potatoes with the sauce. Gordon Ramsey avoids them, but so does Jamie Oliver, who is a big fan of Italian cuisine. All this for 102 pounds... 40 pounds would have been realistic, but for that much money they would have at least tried to trick the guest into leaving satisfied. We asked for and received tap water in a pitcher, they could have thrown a few ice cubes in it, but in the summer it didn't even run for that. I would fire the store manager, the restaurant is in a good location, with care you can't say anything bad about it.

Our service at Strada Southbank along the River Thames was excellent. David was professional and attentive. Pizza was tasty and beer/wine was cold.

Visiting London and came across this charming restaurant on the Thames. The atmosphere was most welcoming and the food and service were excellent. Prices were very reasonable too.

Over the last two days, he has been very proactive in trying to match our criteria whilst ensuring we always felt comfortable and supported in the decisions we were making. We ordered margarita pizza, burger, and ravioli. Food was good. Small portions and high price dropped it from 4-star to 3-star. Maybe I should be more forgiving and allow pricing for location?

This is the review from an Italian person: I didn’t expect it but it was really authentic and comforting; Lili was our waitress and she made sure we had everything we wanted, even when I was a little picky on my food. Definitely recommend the tiramisú, so make sure to leave a little space in your belly to try it out!

Never had pasta that tasted more like a Tesco ready meal. I don't mind the Tesco ready meal but not at £17. The rose was warm, the focaccia was crumbly and the caprese and tomatoes were tasteless. It's a good location for ambience but don't expect good Italian food.

We were served very nicely. The pizza was also good in terms of dough. What I was nice about was we got 1 glass of water in addition to the food.
