Visiting London and came across this charming restaurant on the Thames. The atmosphere was most welcoming and the food and service were excellent. Prices were very reasonable too.

The food is good, the spice was very strong, I liked it a lot.

We are writing to express our gratitude for the professionalism and care that we received from Fabian that has resulted in our first purchase in Dubai this afternoon. Over the last two days, he has been very proactive in trying to match our criteria whilst ensuring we always felt comfortable and supported in the decisions we were making. We had two pizzas, parma carbonara and two cokes, all for £48.38. We really liked the quality of the food and we found the atmosphere and decoration of the place very cozy.

The drinks we received came quickly and were tasty. We were helped by Lilly and she was very attentive. Finally had a dish and dessert and they were delicious. The coffee was well made, tasty beans and well frothed milk. I definitely recommend this place!

Amazing Italian restaurant on the London waterfront. Pasta is cooked fresh. Something delicious for the entire family. So good we came twice during our visit to London! Lili was an amazing waitress.

We ordered margarita pizza, burger, and ravioli. Food was good. Small portions and high price dropped it from 4-star to 3-star. Maybe I should be more forgiving and allow pricing for location?

Wanted to catch a quick dinner before theater and we stopped into Strada. Couldn’t have been better….great service and awesome food.

This is the review from an Italian person: I didn’t expect it but it was really authentic and comforting; Lili was our waitress and she made sure we had everything we wanted, even when I was a little picky on my food. Definitely recommend the tiramisú, so make sure to leave a little space in your belly to try it out!

I really enjoyed this place for lunch. The cozy summer terrace with a view of the Thames makes it an excellent spot to take a break from walking around London. The menu offers a variety of options. We ordered pizza and linguine with seafood, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. The service was quite prompt, and we were served quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Never had pasta that tasted more like a Tesco ready meal. I don't mind the Tesco ready meal but not at £17. The rose was warm, the focaccia was crumbly and the caprese and tomatoes were tasteless. It's a good location for ambience but don't expect good Italian food.

We were served very nicely. The pizza was also good in terms of dough. What I was nice about was we got 1 glass of water in addition to the food.

Food was great as was the service from Lilliana and Florin. Especially considering the size of our party. The restaurant just needs better air conditioning as it was a little too warm inside on a hot day.

Great location and friendly staff. We had a table of seven, ordered different meals and all enjoyed. Amazing memory of waitress (long black hair) who took our complete order with changes all without writing anything down or using electronic tablet.

I have just finished university and came to celebrate with a pizza and beer. I want to thank you our server, Kiara, for amazing service and all the food and drinks recommendation! Was really happy and will come again 100%.

Pizza was delicious! Everything was served within 10 mins - incredibly quick service despite how busy they were! Great value for money! Only 4 stars instead of 5, because I’d like to see more veggie options. 💚

Southbank is a beautiful spot, the views are great and Strada is a nice spot to eat. The pastas were tasty, they were happy to supply us with a gluten free menu and the service was friendly. The service charge wasn't really warranted but seems to be common in tourist-heavy areas.

Food was amazing, so delicious and our server Dom was great. Had great recommendations for wine, and even encouraged us to try our first sticky taffey pudding as Americans and the desert did not disappoint!

The food was so delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken and potato’s with a garlic cream sauce. I’m still thinking about how delicious this meal was. Rosé was delicious as well. My friend was gluten and nut free and they really catered for her.

Quick, Efficient and friendly and whilst it had a limited range of food. it was a nice place to relax away from the hustle that is the South Bank. We had a nice selection from the menu and found the food generally very good and the service was superb and excellent our waitress was Liliana Raquel I believe that what I was writing in the bill thank you again and we will be back

I had reasonable expectations of this place because I had really enjoyed the Clapham restaurant (now closed). However from the start my hopes were dashed - no rose Prosecco, service was brusque and impersonal and the bill was paid online. We all might as well have been robots.

Had a great time down at Strada, Southbank. Waiter (think his name was Dom) was a great guy. Villa fan but I won’t hold that against him. Food was great, highly recommend the Seabass.

It's a great place for a nice lunch with kids in Southbank. It's my son's favourite pizza place and we had his birthday lunch there. Lily, who served us, was lovely. She even put a birthday candle in his desert. Will will be back.

Went to Strada as a table of 4 with the hope of a reasonable quick turnaround before a show. All was going well, drinks and starters came out within ten minutes, tasty! However we then had to wait over 50 minutes for our mains, 3 bowls of pasta and a pizza. Waiting staff were too busy chatting with each other to come and check or ask if we wanted more drinks. When we asked where our food was, it became apparent that they did not fire the mains. Rather than come back with a ETA, another 10 minutes passed and then our food arrived. We then had to ask for cutlery because they hadn't given us any after our starters. Food had then obviously been rushed and was average. Location - Great Atmosphere - Good Food - Average Service- Poor

Perfect location, quick service and great taste! Lovely Italian restaurant in Southbank, the pasta was very tasty and well done. We had the Strozzapreti chicken mushroom and the Sea food linguini with a side of Truffle Fries, blood orange San Pellegrino drink. Loved the place and the food and drink, would 100% recommend it to my friends. Side note: the Tiramisu can be ordered without alcohol if you don’t or can’t drink, you only need to ask the waiter/waitress 👌

Celebrated my daughters UCL graduation here. We chose Strada for the southbank centre proximity and the vegan-friendly menu. We knew we'd have a large party with a lot of different tastes. Our experience exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, we we well attended by our server. Being a celebration, our guests were distracted. However, once decisions were made, food and drink arrived quicky and surreptitiously so as not to disturb conversations. We stayed for hours enjoying wine, hors d'oeuvres, entrees and coffee. We were never rushed, nor did we have to search in vain for our server. When the bill arrived, there were no surprises; except for the modest price. I will go again.

Beautiful to be sat along the river, taking in the Thames in all of its brown glory. Food at Strada is not great however. It is certainly not traditional Italian, more of an Anglo reinvention. For example; the Carbonara I ordered contained too much oil, and the chef decided to use cream. The use of cream does make it taste better for inexperienced pallets but for me it just made me feel bloated. The fried squid was nice. I liked being given both types (whole baby squids and squid rings) Overall decent place for pre theatre eating - though their are certainly better Italian restaurants.

The inside of the store is luxurious and has a nice atmosphere. I think it's better value for money than Spanish restaurants in Soho and other areas. The garlic fried shrimp was really delicious.

I ate pizza in London… what pizza! Here on the street it feels like you're eating pizza in Italy, excellent pizza both in cooking and in the dough, well done, really good!

Previously Strada was a good place to eat. This time I ordered the beef burger. It tasted like lamb. When the waiter asked how the food was I told him the beef tasted like lamb. He just said lamb was not on the menu and it was Italian beef. We left our burgers. The burger bun was so dry it fell apart. Wasted £14 x2 on two burgers that didn’t taste very nice and the waiter didn’t do anything about it. Let down by this visit. Won’t rush back there.

The place is great, the service is okay, the food is gross. The carbonara was overcooked and the sauce very far away from a proper carbonara. The tiramisu was awful and they put alcohol on the drizzle, which tasted really bad and which wasn't in the description menu. We will not come back.

Really regret going to this restaurant. The food was sub par. When my friend and I used the QR code scanner that they told us to use to split the bill. She was charged for her half and I was charged for the entire bill. They took ages to get someone to explain this and kept insisting that we added a tip which we certainly didn’t and I have screenshots to prove only half the bill was authorised. They promised my friend would get a refund for her half which still hasn’t arrived two weeks later. Literally one of my worst restaurant experiences. I am sure they continue to use this payment method to try and extract additional money from customers. As you can see in the first, my split was £26.44. That is what I authorised but the ENTIRE BILL was taken from my account AND they still took my friend’s split out of her account. You can see in the second which I took after I paid, something was up with the system and it added a £2842 tip. Why would I ever input that? I’ve put these images in case they try to deny it. I also have proof of the fact that they promised a refund. They printed this out for me on the day.

Was out with friends and as a vegetarian I got the penne pasta pomodoro. I said strictly that I was a vegetarian. I was eating the pasta and tasted something strange, spat it out and realised it was a piece of bacon. I told the staff and they offered to make a new one and took it off the bill, however they charged for service which was similar to the price of my meal? A very unpleasant experience and very unhappy.

Place was better than expected for such a tourist spot however service was included (fine) but they card machine prompts for more tips starting at 12.5% so I spent 25% on service without knowing. Realised and got a refund but very cheeky of them
