Incredible food cooked to perfection, nice and fresh really affordable and a decent portion size, will deffo be using this chip shop more than the others now, owner really friendly and passionate about the food he cooks too

Decided I didn’t want to cook tonight and I’m so glad I didn’t! All the food was delicious! We had a large chips which was enough to feed two adults and two children, 3 sausages and a spam fritter. The chips were the best I’ve ever had and I promise I’m not exaggerating, I used to work in a chip shop! The batter was golden brown and not overly greasy. Very affordable too!

I've been here many times and it is consistently excellent. It's my go to fish & chip shop in Burgess Hill and its a bit cheaper than most of the others in town. Generous portions, great quality fish and perfect chips. It's a slightly shabby looking place but don't let this put you off!

The Fallowfields restaurant is excellent in every way. The food was exceptional, each course packed with flavours and well presented. It was creative, inventive and fun. Portion sizes were good for a tasting menu. They were flexible for non-seafood eaters. The wines were well chosen and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and unlike some other chefs/restaurants in Cornwall this was Michelin star quality food, but with no pretension and cheaper than some, but of quality that is equal to if not better than most. The room has spectacular views over Lizard point - with multiple ships gliding by - and when the sun goes down the lighthouse blinks away. This is a wonderful place for a special occasion. The staff were highly professional but relaxed and friendly. No surprise service charge is wonderful as it does allow you to roughly know what your bill will be. If you are driving from Helston - you'll see directional signs on the left - however they disappear and its confusing better to had into Lizard town and turn left at the square. The lane that leads to the Hotel is badly pot-holed and desperately needs attention! Manager - please make this a priority as it is almost at the it's going to damage my car stage.

Was really excited to try Ziques for a nice breakfast on the day of my friends wedding. Was disappointed with our visit sadly :( Ordered a mocha and a hot chocolate. Both tasted of milk with no chocolate flavour at all. Ordered two full Scottish breakfasts. Both were extremely sub par. Bacon was dry, sausages were hard and tasteless. The baked beans came as the restaurants own version of baked beans. I’m all for this, but they were cold. The staff seemed uninterested and did not come to check on us and if our food was okay. I get the concept of Ziques. The place was clean and well kept and the presentation of food looks great, but unfortunately in my opinion, the food was simply not worth paying £40. I live round the corner so this really is such a shame.

Been here a few times now, the best fish and chips in Bromley without question. Food is always piping hot and very taste, could not recommend more! Keep up the good work guys! Looking forward to our next visit/order!

Excellent gluten free cod, chip, mushy peas and ..... gluten free jumbo battered sausage! Lovely local, friendly takeaway.

This place had great reviews but none since 2022 so thought i would give it a try to compare with others in the area. First things first on a positive note the fish was absolutely outstanding with the best batter ever. For me, however, that's where it ends! Chips were like cardboard, mushy peas tasteless and as for the irish curry sauce - i was told it was spicy but on the scale it had zero spice and was very sweet. My meal was further spoiled by the slapdash adding of salt and vinegar - the server gave this no attention and just slopped it on to the extent that one half of my meal was inedible because it was full of salt whereas the other half had none at all. Great fish but don't think i will be returning.

Unlike croft Street and the bearded sailor, the fish and chips were pretty poor we all thought. Batter, hides the fact that these are pre frozen fish and chips, chipies called fish bars usually are. Definitely better chip shops around.

We have been using this fish bar for several years the staff and service excellent as is the food. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had Afternoon Tea with friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. I have never been disappointed with Aquavita whenever I have had their meals or takeaways. I certainly was not disappointed this time either.. An amazing selection of sandwiches and cakes, all delicious as was the tea. Everyone had their own cake stand with six different sandwiches and sausage roll and a crisp tampura piece of fish. ,Plus scone with jam & cream, cupcake, cheesecake, millionaire slice, chocolate brownie, plum bread & cheese. We all had doggy bags to take home because it was too much to eat and we were there for two hours. The birthday girl was delighted and we are definitely going to visit again for another meal and another Afternoon Tea. I cannot recommend this Afternoon Tea highly enough and the price was less than we had been quoted elsewhere. If you see Aquavita Catering advertised anywhere you are guaranteed quality and delicious tasting dishes..

I been at KB with my family for a birthday meal. First strange thing I noticed when they brought a buttered fish for my child and fish was pale, oily and soggy (when breaded fish served for my second child looked great). When they brought my buttered fish I seen the same- A very pale, soggy, greesy thing on my plate :( Taste was not good eaither..butter was not crispy, but greesy and also had a taste of old flour, not sure what was wrong but I ate less than half. When waitress came to collect plate (she probably seen I ate no much of it) she asked "if all was ok?"..I honesty said that I didnt like my buttered fish and... waitress just replied "Thats ok", turned around and gone with my plate. She show NO interest in situation at all.. and I had no even a chance to explain why I did no ate my dinner. Next thing I did not like, it when my kid's favourite song starts to play, some gentelmen appeared from kitchen with a hoover in his hands and without asking anybody around he turned his hoover ON and instead of music we listened a sounds of hoover for a few minutes. Kids were so upset. They said "we didnt hear our favourite song" :( Now, after I came back home from KB I had a very upset stomack and it still sore, child who had buttered fish too complained about sore tummy too. So..not very good experience for 70 pounds we paid. Probably would not go back to KB again :-(
