Excellent gluten free cod, chip, mushy peas and ..... gluten free jumbo battered sausage! Lovely local, friendly takeaway.

The fairest fish fare, and bless them, they are fully equipped for gluten free deep fried batter, far better than stodgy flour in my view, I call it Kent tampura. Give it a try, even if you are not wheat intolerant like so many of us.

We traveled down from the Midlands today and did a search for the best fish and chips in the area we were visiting. I would give the triple the stars if I could! The fish and chips were utterly amazing the batter on the fish just melted in your mouth it was so light so crispy. The fish was a generous portion and was cooked to perfection because the batter was so so light the succulent fish simply shone through and of course was accompanied by wonderfully crispy piping hot chips. We are of the generation that had fish on Friday so we can say we have tasted fish and chips in countless venues up and down the land and we can safely this is the best! The whole experience reminded us so much of our child hood days when one visited the seaside and had a mouthwatering Friday night supper, we recaptured those days at Ospringe Fish Bar. Huge thanks to Rebecca who was so friendly and kind and to the two wonderful gentlemen who cooked our fish and chips. We will definitely see them again when we are down visiting our family. Thank amazing people for simply amazing food.

This used to be my favourite chip shop when I lived locally. There used to be a poem on the wall about fried fish, would anyone be able to share as I can never quite remember it!

Only gluten free fish and chips in Faversham. I no longer have to drive to Herne Bay. Excellent service and excellent food. Ali and his staff are very helpful and happy to take phone orders so you can just pop along and pick up. Totally recommend.

Food is so delicious. When u eat once , u gonna be eat again and again.. we found this place last year. And every moment we want to come and eat here. Thanks a lot for everything.

Absolutely the best fish and chip shop in Faversham. Nothing is too much trouble and they welcome you and really appreciate your business. I’m gluten free and they will cook me whatever I fancy. The other chip shops in town can’t be bothered. The also offer grilled fish and salad if you are on a diet.

First time at OFB, great fish and Chips. Fish cooked fresh and was one of the nicest fish we have had. You will go a long way to beat these guys. We will definitely be back.

Ali has been my place for a fish and chips . Good portion s at good prices with good quality ingredients. What could go wrong, oh his a goonner, and his strong team is holding up the rest of the prem. If you want to talk footie go in on a Saturday and you can chat about the day results while he prepares you food.

i am so glad i live nearby but if i didn't i would travel. i love the quarter pounder and chips , chips are just like home made - the burger is proper minced steak you can tell! staff are fab and very friendly . just love love love Ali 's fish bar.

Faversham’s best chippy by a mile. Never has that awful twangy oil and Ali and crew are always lovely.

Plenty of people to chat to as you wait a short while for your order. I was delighted to find this chippie does gluten free batter as a norm, no special days. He has my custom in Faversham henceforth; the food is good and cooked with care.Parking not difficult generally, suggest you avoid peak collection times 6-7 pm on a Friday.

Stopped by unexpectedly and bought the best fish and chips that we have had for a long while.The men served us in a very friendly manner and we will return when next in that area.

I love the two guys who run Ospringe Fis Bar and the standard of the food is of the highest but I have one criticism. Whenever I go to get my family food, I am forced to wait until virtually all the 'Phone-in' Customers are served. This to me is an unacceptable practice. Having been a Businessman for more than thirty years I passionately believe that Customers who take the time and effort to make their presence known to seek to obtain my products or service should receive immediate attention and be served before any Phone-in Customers. This to me is a universal principal which demonstrates to my Customers that their needs are my priority and this principle ought (in my opinion) to be implemented by Ospringe Fish Bar. Other than that, they are the best Fish Bar this side of the Medway river. Blessings. Dan xx

Great fish and chips, good vegetarian food too lots of choice. And I love their doner kebabs, not greasy, just the way I like them. Always friendly. Old fashioned but in a good way.

Always receive a warm welcome from Ali, food cooked fresh and to a good standard. Can’t beat good old Cod ‘n’ Chips at there best!

Nothing delights me more than getting value for money when buying a take-away and the two lovely guys who run this fish and chip shop at the bottom of Ospringe road know how us Brits like our food. I have been there many times fir their great grub as a fat fella, eating everything without considering my health but since Christmas I have become Pescatarian/Veganish so I need to be more careful what I eat and last week they grilled me a fresh piece of Cod and I admit I had some of their wonderful chips with it and boy it was just amazing, so I will be back soon guys. This is my local fish & chip bar as it's within walking distance as parking can be difficult. I find a large cod or haddock & normal sized chips ideal for 2 people & cheaper than buying 2 pieces

Lots of Chips/ tasty juicy cod with a free large bottle of Pepsi! We ordered the foid beforehand as we needed 6 of everything. They had just started to cook it all when we arrived do it was all very fresh.

I have been using this fish and chip shop for a few weeks now , Staff very friendly and helpful ,all cooked freshly to order, they even cook my chips in the same oil as the gluten free fish ,The batter is very tasty and crisp and not too thick, I wont be going any where else .

Haviong used this take awa a few time we know the fish and chips to be great value. Cooked fresh while you wait and friendly staff nice clean shop. Recommended.

Este bar de pescado pronto será la apertura de nuevo! ! ! Gracias a Dios por eso! ! ! Desde que Ali (el dueño) sacó tiempo nadie puede igualar su pescado sabroso y patatas fritas, pero no te dejes engañar esta no es la única comida que le puede ofrecer. Hay otras tiendas de pescado frito con patatas fritas en la ciudad pero no de pescado y patatas fritas como cocineros Ali. Estamos tan emocionados que Ali pronto se extiende atrás en la ciudad - la palabra. En este que puse 25 / 11 / 16 y él debe estar abierto en las próximas dos o tres semanas! ! ! Me alegro de volver Ali y le deseo lo mejor. X

Waited over an hour for delivery, never delivered, I rang and they said they couldnt find the well known campsite, they said to busy to deliver now .a right wanker, and sounds foreign..no wonder he couldnt find the campsite. Should either get a sat nav, or someone who speaks English..anyway since been advised, the fish not fresh, and using the cheapest potatoes.. Very rude people..

Oh dear.........so disappointing since new management. Greasy soggy fish and hard chips. We will not be going again which is a shame since it is just around the corner from where we live

Es nuestro fish and chips local tienda, tiene muy bien pescado blanco con una fina pasta fresca. El tamaño de las porciones son siempre generoso. Pero lo que me mantiene volver es Ali y su personal, que siempre sabes quién eres y preguntar acerca de cómo la vida se va. Ali realmente toma tiempo para entregar patatas fritas, tartas perfectamente frescas, hamburguesas, SFC y kebabs y hablar sobre lo que está pasando en el área local. Hay gran variedad de peces, así como la tienda siempre pescado y patatas fritas Fayre. El aparcamiento puede ser difícil, pero se puede llamar y oder a recoger lo que es rápido y fácil de conseguir su comida.

Great fresh oil that can be tasted on the fish and chips, all bones and skin removed. Only place I go for cod....

OK chippy but had better. Not a place I often frequent. Staff bit grumpy. Portion size ok. Parking outside can be difficult.

Had large portion of chips whilst I was having my tyre fixed next door at all tyres. A great spot to have a puncture fixed in your lunch time... I'll be back when I have more time for a meal.easy access good location next to park.well done all round.

These guys are really nice and helpful. Its often busy so we ring up in advance. Fish is always fresh. Havent had other things but my sons so they are good. Have been going here for years and have never had bad fish and chips.
