Not from the area and wanted a family lunch to arrive with, the service and quality is outstanding. Will definitely stop here again

Best fish and chips in Bromley !!??!?? Not the case ........ We went here because of the reviews ....NEVER AGAIN ! Very dry old fish, mediocre batter, and don't get me started on the chips .

Had a wonderful lunch at this hotel. Our server, Diane, added to the great experience, being efficient with bringing the food and collecting our plates and giving her own personal recommendations. The food was wonderful; there is a set menu option which is great, and I believe it is available during the week as well.

Best fish and chip shop around, always have fresh fish, lightly battered and crispy. Always welcoming staff and good sized portions.

Take away from the Bromley Hill Fish Bar, was about 20th in the queue and everyone was wanting a large cod. Worth the wait though. When I got home it was still piping hot, the fish was flakey and fresh. The chips were a little thin for proper fish n chip shop chips buy tasty and plentiful, too many for me. I'll be back in the queue in a couple of Fridays

Always top of the list for Fish & Chips on every visit to South East London. Excellent staff service however long the queue and the Cod is a delight.

Ordered from just eat and have to say the best haddock and chips we have had in years. Tried lots of chip shops around looking for this. Lovely large fresh fish and proper tasting chips. Yes you may pay a little bit extra but compared to even the fancy new local chip shops this was by far the best. Please keep these standards going, we will definitely be returning.

Was in the area going to visiting friends, but we were early and decided to have a bite to eat, fish and chips were nice no complaints staff friendly, would use again.

Ordered two large cod and one large chips one of the cod was raw in parts and was more batter than fish the chips were cold not what we had come to expect from this establishment will be quite a while before we would use this chip shop again very disappointed

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy. The cod was amazing.....I warn you the large cod is LARGE.....cannot fault anything about our fish and chips. Portions very generous and good value.....I will certainly be visiting again and again

Have only discovered this place recently. Went there once on a friends recommendation and have been back several times since. A bit of a drive from my house but worth the trip.

By far the best chip shop in the area. The fact it’s always packed out shows the popularity and the freshness.

This used to be a great fish & chip shop, but as really gone down hill their Chicken is really dry too dry to eat, Their chips are all bit and pieces and we have ordered their chips several times to give them the benefits of the doubt but to no avail, we will not be going back there, It is a shame as this is our local shop.

This is our local chip shop and we buy food there weekly. Great chips and the plain sausages and fish are particularly delicious. The food is well cooked and the service is friendly.

He vivido en Shortlands por más de 10 años y me encanta mi pescado y patatas fritas. He probado muchos pescado y patatas fritas por mi zona y este establecimiento es el mejor con diferencia! Una vez al mes, disfruté de un gran bacalao y patatas fritas y nunca estoy decepcionado. Las colas pueden ser bastante largas, pero este no es un problema ya que vale la pena esperar y otros también saben que es el mejor de la zona. Si aún no has probado debe y no te decepcionará.

We always buy our fish and chips here. The fish is freshly cooked and non fatty chips .Its usually busy which normally tells you it is popular.

Cannot fault this fish and chip shop at all. The queue out the door when I arrived to order my takeaway said it all. Crispy battered tender fish. Chips cooked spot on. You cannot go wrong with this place. I will definitely be returning.

Been using this place since I was 7 years of age. 32 years old now. Has been the best fish and chips the whole time. I know people that travel over 5 miles to eat here (I only pass one chip shop on the way to this one, some local friends pass 5!). I haven't learnt my lesson as I still try other places, only to be disappointed (looking at you The Big Catch, Beckenham). Was once overly expensive but now very competitive (Compared to the big catch it's a massive steal). Portion sizes huge. Quality like no other. Great staff. Wish they didn't close between 2 & 4 weekdays though. I actually fancy some now so I'm on my way for large Haddock and chips. Hopefully see you there!! An absolute godsend thank you very much

In my opinion by far the best local fish and chip restaurant ell worth travelling for I have now moved to Shirley so its just out of distance to make sure they are still hot so my trips are less frequent than they used to be

This is the only decent chip shop in the area. I have been going here most Fridays for the last 30 years even when I lived outside the area. The food is high quality the staff are awesome and the fish is always of good quality. It can be busy on a Friday so be prared to wait.

Seriously! it is really clean the staff are lovely and remember you. The chips are fantastic with a crunch cooked in fresh oil, the fish portions are generous and there is such a good variety of take away food. The chicken breast I had was very lean and a large portion this is the only chips shop I would go to!

I occasionally have fish and chips as a bit of a treat, and this is the only place I want to go (it's takeaway only). The food is always fresh, hot, and tasty, and the portions are generous too. I find the staff helpful and friendly. It's been excellent for years, and still is. I highly recommend as a traditional chippie, that's a cut above in terms of quality.

I work all over SE London and this is by far the best chippy. If we have friends round, their first request is "chip shop dinner!"... And that's not just because I can't cook!

We regularly (approx 2'ce a month) get our fish & chips from here. It is always fresh and good value for money. There's usually a queue which means we're not the only ones who rate it highly but you don't wait long. Always been happy with the fish and chips from here.

Decided to wander out of Bromley to this chippy. Was still eating when I was nearly back into Bromley the portion was larger than many others in the area. Really nice and hot fresh fish and chips. Well worth a visit

Love the freshly cooked food. Queues may be out the door but well worth the wait. Large portions of Chips, made for sharing, fish with just the right amount of batter, friendly staff. Friday nights wouldn't be the same without these guys!
