Excellent fresh fish, lovely batter and great chips. Well worth the drive from Richmond to Catterick. Friendly service best around in the area, great value and excellent prices.

This chippy is highly recommended for both the food and the friendly staff. The portions are generous and the fish is delicious. Our grandsons enjoy the sausages and chicken nuggets but there are many more things to choose from their varied menu

I get everything I want when I go. The staff are friendly and they never seem to run out. Whilst you may have to wait for the usual things to be cooked to order there is always ample quick options if you are in a rush.

A chance visit for a quick snack turned into a huge portion of fish & chips. Wife unable to finish hers....we will be back. , I'm even chinking of just driving from Appleby for supper !

Fabulous fish and chips great portion size always freshly cooked and a good price never go anywhere else unless this place is closed. Staff are brilliant too.

This place has been open now for years and it’s easy to understand why. Fresh tasting chips, big portions and lovely fish. Irish curry is fantastic. Nice smokies and Glass Bottle Iron brew.

Ordered fish n chips and peas which were cooked fresh . Chips were more like chippings very bitty and freshly cooked cod was hot and crispy but was sat in a pool of melted dripping. Peas very runny couldn’t pick up with fork. Wouldn’t recommend.

Been going here 4 years it's my fave fish and chips in the area. Will definitely recommend anyone I know here

A wee gem of a place! Went for a large fish supper. The portions were very generous. The two ladies serving were lovely, excellent customer service!!! Would definitely recommend!!

This is the best and only chip shop anyone should use in Catterick Garrison. Always service with a smile and the food is always fresh and with such a variety. I always have the haggis with mushy peas for Friday dinner. It’s the bomb. 👍👍👍👍👍

Always cooked to order so you may have to wait a little while but it's worth it. Chip portion size is huge so you may want to share unless you have a good appetite.

Decided to get dinner for all the family. Food is always perfectly cooked. Must say I do find the prices a bit steep in comparison to other local competitors

He probado el pescado y patatas fritas aquí en Inglaterra, pero he de decir que este fue el mejor pescado y patatas fritas que he tenido! Las mujeres son tan cálido y agradable y su tan guay para verlos cocinar delante de nosotros. Me encanta este lugar y las raciones son enormes para un precio muy genial!

Las chicas que trabajan en este lugar es muy amable. Siempre se ve limpio y ordenado, no es muy caro, la comida como algunos gustos siempre chippies, salsa curry agradable irlandés es mega. Incluso si sólo estás en una visita de un vuelo a la guarnición, patatas fritas, pop con salsa ❤ ️

Probé este chippie más de 20 años. Una gran relación calidad-precio ahora aún mejor. Nos debería haber pedido 2 pescado y patatas dieron dos montones de patatas fritas, que eran suficientes para 4. Bien preparado y bien presentado. Que si estás en la zona, pero también horarios de apertura.

This place is the best by far. No frozen chips, all fresh and lovely. Food excellent service to match.

What a place. Friendly staff that. Are welcoming and efficient. Very reasonable pricing. The food is cooked to perfection. And quite possibly the largest portions I've ever seen from a Chippy! Highly recommended.

Great value fish and chips. Fish is cooked fresh for each order so it's not the quickest but definitely worth the wait. Agree that it's the best chippy I've been to in the area.

Have used this chippy for many years. Have tried others but always come back to this one. Standard never drops, always great food, fish cooked to order, great portions and cheery, friendly staff.

Don't bother with Barkers,this place is 100% better and has a better menu.Cannot fault anything at all,

The best chippy in catterick buy far tel orders taken and recommend never had a bad meal takeout only no sit in but no chippy in catterick has this facility

By far the best Fish and Chip shop in the area.A good range on the menu with fast, efficient service.If you are on a diet please tell the staff to go easy on the portions - they are big.

Fish n chips here are in my option the best on the garrison,staff are helpful and polite,won't go anywhere else for fish chips.

I have never tried the food before until recently. It's amazing, the staff are fantastic, the smokies are my favourite as is the spicy curry sauce. Fresh tasty food always. Wish it was open more.

Good food, large portion sizes & reasonable prices. Open most dinner & tea time but unsure if they open on a weekend. Very tasty!

The food here is Always fresh and served with a smile just a shame it's not open weekends but during the week it beats the rest in the area hands down xx
