Cosy cafe with chocolate. Coffee was expensive but good and came with a delicious chocolate. Hot chocolates looked great. Toilet was out of order so asked where nearest public toilet was but lady didnât know. Thereâs actually free public toilets in the market hall around the corner.

Visited for a late breakfast when staying in Richmond. The service was outstanding as was the quality of the food and the Covid measures were spot on. Our breakfast was one of the nicest cooked breakfasts weâve had in a long time. Thereâs a little shop on site which has some lovely trinkets and a garden/plant sale too - 3 attractions in one!

Visited for breakfast and could not fault a thing. The sandwich was excellent with everything cooked to perfection. The service was quick and the staff very friendly and polite. We took away some of their cakes for later and we were not disappointed, they were really good.

I am gonna be honest, I was soooo happy to see this coffee shop because I really needed to go to the toilet, because in the national park it is hard to find a toilet and I was surprised that they are there (I visited a few national parks, and there is not a single bar or coffee shop in miles) so very happy to find then. And second, the lady was so nice, very friendly. Me and my brother order jack potato and I am telling you, it was a quality plate, (I love jack potato so I may sound exaggerated haha) simple but really nice. Also I took a piece of cake and was delicious. Beautiful place, beautiful views, I was in love!

We wanted a couple of take away roast dinners so tried Louis Bar. We were really impressed with them. We had the roast Turkey and roast lamb dinners and they were excellent. Came with all the expected trimmings and lots of gravy. We will definitely be using the bar again. đ€

Top marks for Sunday Lunch. This was one of the best we have had for a long while. Semerwater was spot on for a pint. Lovely relaxing surroundings, cheerful fire, good service. Many thanks indeed. Just what we needed on a damp grey Sunday!

We dropped in after scouring the railway vintage memorabilia shop for a coffee and cakes. A very warm welcome from the staff and from the wonderful coal fire. We enjoyed the railway theme of the cafe and they have various Wensleydale Railway items for sale, such as beer and engraved glass packs. The home baking was excellent and the coffee hot and flavoursome. A good selection of snacks. It's the sort of place where everyone is relaxed and conversations with other customers start. Great to see and hear the trains going by. Seats on the platform if you want to get closer to the action.

We were planning on eating at the station restaurant, but got tempted by their menu and the prospect of eating outdoors on a very hot evening. . . .The Italian stew and horseradish mash was a delight. I would gladly return for their poke bowl/ lamb tagine= jerk chicken skewers, but sadly am moving on tomorrow . Soup and burgers look equally tempting . . Oh, and the staff are super friendly đ
