The best restaurants serving Indian food in Richmondshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Came in from out of town and found this gem of an Indian. Reviews were good anyway, but we had a great meal and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Service was as good as the food and we both said it was the best Indian we'd had in a couple of years. Thanks to everyone for a lovely meal, and the rose for my wife was a nice touch.

Absolutely first class curry,and large portions .

We went here for dinner when family visited, we took our own wine and has some sparkling water at the table. Excellent service including roses for the ladies as we left and plentiful good food.

Absolutely fantastic experience this evening. The welcoming was warm, the venue was clean and the food was lip smacking. I went for the Dumplings which were very tasty not to mention the chilli chicken. Two very good dishes amongst many others on the menu. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone who happens to find themselves in Catterick garrison. Loved it! Back again soon🤞🏽

The range and standard of food is excellent. The menu offers some of the old classics but there are also many chef's dishes and recommendations that I haven't encountered before. I've now tried several and invariably, the quality of the food is excellent, with unusual flavour combinations that work very well. The portion sizes are spot on, sometimes, I'm full after the starter, but here you get a decent portion of good food. There tends to be only one person front of house so, at peak times, the service for drinks etc can be a little slow, but the food comes quickly and piping hot from the kitchen. Also, be aware that Prachin only takes cash. A great local gem.
