The best restaurants in Richmondshire Yorkshire and The Humber

What a fantastic find. We visited on the Saturday evening for the dining experience and were not disappointed. The food (cheese and charcuterie) was phenomenal, the service was brilliant (knowledgeable and enthusiastic), the wine was delicious, the ambiance and setting matched. We would definitely recommend this and will be back next time we are in the area. All in all a fantastic night that enhanced a magnificent weekend. Thank you so much.

Charming ambience… subtle lighting… warm and welcoming. We had the smaller tasting menu. The food was superbly presented , delicious flavours with exciting combinations and seasonal influences… this food rivals the Fat Duck and L Enclume as well as the Raby Hunt but at a fraction of the price … Congratulations to this stunningly talented young chef and his team. The wines too were sensibly priced with a good selection to choose from…. We work in hospitality so feel well place to assess… we know what hard work goes into it to keep very high standards… An amazing place on the up and coming …. 'The best cheese scone I've ever had'. Not my words but those of my wife. Couple of flat whites, millionaires shortbread in a lovely setting.

Extremely friendly welcome with delicious homemade cakes baked by Mandy (the apple cake was scrumptious). Parking readily available and away from the busy high street. Good washrooms with easy access for visitors. Very helpful and knowledgeable volunteers run the station.

Called in for a quick bite and it was fabulous. Great selection of Sandwiches but when it comes to scones there’s a choice of three and they’re all fabulous and made in house daily. One not to be missed👍

We have had food from Andersons 3 times, the food has been excellent everytime. Last time I had a vegan pizza - best pizza I've had in a long time.

I got a double cheese and bacon burger, was very nice, and also had a side of chips and coleslaw, food arrived very quickly, would absolutely recommend!

I was enjoying the Swim up and down the lengths a great pool while peter was watching and when finished got chained and we both went in for coffee and cake we had a great time

I'm currently not too well and without having to explain myself cos I changed order and wanted something off menu, no prob he did no prob for me, foods great from here, friendly, quick delivery too

I needed a quick lunch and was close by, so decided to go here instead of Subway. Very wise decision. £2.55 for a large roll filled with Chicken Tikka and salad. It was extremely tasty - possibly the nicest shop-bought sandwich ever, and the lady behind the counter was wonderful. Friendly and cheery. I will be back - highly recommended.

This small restaurant is wonderful for a quiet venue with good wine and excellent food. The restaurant operates an open kitchen, with a small menu cooked fresh in front of you. There's no big sign for the restaurant and you'd barely know it was there if you weren't looking for it. The current menu is found on the gate post and I would recommend it to any Richmond locals or visitors.

The price of Tapas dishes are too high everywhere, but the small menu at No 29 is varied and their cooking is good. Their range of beer is small but the ones I take are wonderful. Their range of wines is broader and my wife loves their chardonnay. The view from the window seats is exceptional.

We had a great lunch at this lovely little cafe today. The menu is imaginative, we loved the carrot and orange soup. The coffee excellent. And it was truly dog friendly.
