'The best cheese scone I've ever had'. Not my words but those of my wife. Couple of flat whites, millionaires shortbread in a lovely setting.

Thought I’d treat Hubbie to lunch & Mocha did not disappoint we both had a delicious mac & cheese with a lovely fresh seeded roll. Lovely food, lovely staff & good price with a mango smoothie & coffee. This is a hidden gem taken me too long to discover it I thoroughly recommend it to all & they are super dog friendly with a dog menu too.

Driving along for miles in the countryside passing a sign Mocha outside the gates of a large hall standing way back across the fields of sheep. We thought what is mocha and having looked at google on our mobiles found it was a small coffee stop so turned around and drove through the gates and up a long winding drive to the mocha car park. Pet friendly and ordered a couple of sandwiches, cheese toasties with cappuccinos. We decided to sit outside as it was a sunny day and along came our food also with a couple of chocolates, we then found out that they are also chocolatiers, very nice.

We were planning on eating at the station restaurant, but got tempted by their menu and the prospect of eating outdoors on a very hot evening. . . .The Italian stew and horseradish mash was a delight. I would gladly return for their poke bowl/ lamb tagine= jerk chicken skewers, but sadly am moving on tomorrow . Soup and burgers look equally tempting . . Oh, and the staff are super friendly 😊

We dropped in after scouring the railway vintage memorabilia shop for a coffee and cakes. A very warm welcome from the staff and from the wonderful coal fire. We enjoyed the railway theme of the cafe and they have various Wensleydale Railway items for sale, such as beer and engraved glass packs. The home baking was excellent and the coffee hot and flavoursome. A good selection of snacks. It's the sort of place where everyone is relaxed and conversations with other customers start. Great to see and hear the trains going by. Seats on the platform if you want to get closer to the action.
