Louis Bar in Richmondshire

We wanted a couple of take away roast dinners so tried Louis Bar. We were really impressed with them. We had the roast Turkey and roast lamb dinners and they were excellent. Came with all the expected trimmings and lots of gravy. We will definitely be using the bar again. 🤓

Had a dilemma with an outside caterer for a child’s birthday party. Small buffet for about 10 children! Panicking about other things I called up this place and literally with 6 hours notice they knocked up an amazing bufffet for me to collect on the evening ready for the next day. Thank you to Steve and Dan and the team at the venue, for literally pulling it out the bag. Kids had loads of options and even had enough for me for work the next day. Thanks again you lot! :)

So after having a positive experience recently at Louis bar I decided to ask if they would be able to host an afternoon tea for our small team of carers for a retirement and leaving do. Louis did not disappoint, They provided an assortment of delicious freshly made sandwiches , quiches, pork pies and a beautiful array of mini cakes and creamed scones along with endless tea and coffee. The service from the staff was impeccable and nothing was too much trouble. We all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and look forward to using the venue for future staff function. Well done Team Louis and Thankyou 😀x

Absolutely superb Mother’s Day lunch last Sunday. The lamb was delicious and the beef was cooked to perfection. Myself my mum and mum in law all cleared our plates as it was so tasty. The price was so reasonable and the Yorkshire puds and sides of vegetables were very generous and such a reasonable price. Must add also the service was brilliant as were the staff they were all so lovely and bounced off each other creating a very nice atmosphere for those enjoying their Mother’s Day meals. Thankyou very much we will definitely be back😀x

First visit here and had a lovely Sunday dinner which was reasonably priced too. Food was fresh and hot, home made and very tasty. Staff were attentive and friendly, the midweek menu also looks lovely too. We will definitely be back 😃

I absolutely love their roast dinners proper food and great value for money :) I love the bbq stacker burger too. Lovely owners :) onions rings are a must, homemade with beer batter

Didn’t know this place existed until this afternoon and we were looking for somewhere for a Sunday roast. Incredibly friendly staff, the lady who looked after us was brilliant with my son and gave him crayons and bubbles to keep him entertained. The service was warm and welcoming and despite being in a club setting, it felt like home. The food was lovely, we had pork and lamb roasts and family serve vegetables. The portion sizes were huge and the value for money is amazing. £13 for a 2 course Sunday roast! Would definitely come back and I’ll certainly spread the word! Thank you so much!

Sunday lunch for 23 adults & 6 children , super accommodating with the children , lunch was served hot & tasty , & plenty of veg , Linda baked birthday cakes for 9 yr old twins & son in law Rob . We were a bit loud , but staff were fabulous . We will defiantly choose Louis again for food quality , plenty of private parking . Well worth giving this hard working a try . Excellent value 😍

Wow this is a hidden little gem. The staff are all amazing and we couldn’t have felt more welcome. The chef even came over to update us on fresh Yorkshire pudding being due out of the oven soon. The food was plentiful, delicious and very reasonable. There’s loads of parking too. I couldn’t fault this and I consider myself to be quite hard to please.

Booked last minute for food for this afternoon and this was not a problem to the venue. On arrival, we was greeted by Steve, owner of this very well decorated establishment and made to feel at ease. We were seated at a table and menus were brought over and asked if we would like a beverage, which of course we took advantage of this. We then ordered our food and in no time at all it arrived. It was fantastic. Freshly cooked food, amazing flavours, juicy meats which meant they were not dry under a heat lamp for hours. Crunchy and soft Yorkshire puds which were fresh out of the oven. Just amazing! Then to top it off an amazing bread and butter pudding which was the best I have had for a while. Carrot cake to take home which I still can’t eat as still full from this afternoon lunch. See you soon and thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Extremely happy with the lunch me and my husband enjoyed today. Food was freshly cooked, presented well, generous portions, tasted amazing and great value for money. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The bar restaurant looks amazing now but we chose to sit in the garden which is so lovely. Definitely recommend and we'll be back.

We went for Sunday lunch. Meal was excellent with friendly and attentive service. Would recommend without hesitation. Extremely pleasant experience.

Booked a table. Greeted professionally. Staff very courteous and helpful. My daughter and I had the 2 course menu. Absolutely divine. Lovely yorkies. Plenty of vegetables and the cauliflower cheese was lush. We will defo be back. Well done team Louis!!!!!

We enjoyed a hot meal outdoors before restrictions eased. Perfect! Menu is varied and prices for food & drink are very reasonable. Will book again soon!

Visited Club Louis for food today, chips were absolutely divine & onion rings are probably best I’ve ever had! Great range of cocktails, wines and beer! Lovely outside area with festoon lighting and beautiful landscaping! Can’t wait to come back!!

A lovely warm, family feel to the place. Food is of good quality and always tasty. They always make us feel welcomed and that they will do everything and anything to ensure that your visit is a good one.

Many visits but wouldnt allow me to put them all on. Love this place , love the food but most of all love the staff and owners. Never been disappointed and cant wait to return asap.

I was there tonight and sadly quite due to COVID but that didn’t stop them from producing a great meal in the refurbished Bar / Restaurant. Would recommend and we will be back
