The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to talk about the simply incredible service I had today from Marino's. I ordered online because I'm lazy like that. Unfortunately, Just Eat were being absolutely useless. The food was delayed because they couldn't get a driver. I got a call from the owner herself to update me and apologise. The restaurant had prepared my order 3 times while waiting for the promised driver in order to ensure my food was fresh, and I suspect possibly a fourth time after our call. It was instantly obvious, talking to the owner, that she cared greatly about the quality of their service and food. Eventually a driver materialised and I received my food hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. I have ordered from Marino's a few times and never had delivery issues and the food has always been amazing. As if all that wasn't enough, a hand-written apology as well as a bottle of Prosecco came with the order once it arrived. Absolute above-and-beyond service. Cannot praise and recommend these guys enough. 10/10

Was looking for a lite bite before flying and by chance on maps this was 2min from where we were. We didn't book in advance but was warmly welcomed and the hostess was lovely throughout. To say she is on her own she works amazingly efficient. We ordered 7tapas and some bread between the 4of us and every single one was served timely, piping hot and absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend the Scoth Eggs. The only reason for 4 giving 4 star instead of 5 is the decor felt a little dated. Nothing at all to do with servive or quality. Will definitely return when back in the area.

Best chips I’ve had in a very long time from a chip shop. So glad I found this place! Would definitely recommend!

It's not often I'm speechless but... I've lived in blackpool all my life and a good chippy is hard to find. My family stopped here today after driving past last week and WOW! hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had! The food was all fresh and delicious. Not greasy and perfect amount of salt and vinegar. We'll be back soon!

I find Allestree fish bar the best fish bar local too Allestree Duffield little Eaton and surrounding areas the food is by far the best food the shop is managed very well the staff are so polite a d professional they always make there customers welcome and make them aware of the various deals available thanks for a lovely service again last night will come see you all again soon respect

My partner and I had a three course meal mid October 2024. Food was excellent, great drinks menu selection and very attentive staff. Highly recommend l. Great pub in the back to.

7 of us had a lovely meal here on a Thursday evening in September. We had a selection excellent Mexican fishes with mixed sides. The cocktails were fabulous and we also thoroughly enjoyed the brain-teaser movie quiz on our table. A great place for friends to enjoy a night out!!

Absolutely outstanding. We ordered each of the dishes on the menu and they were all 10 out of 10. Young staff enthusiastic despite the closure. But wait.......we can never go back despite being very keen to do so,,,,why you ask...well its now closed down. Now if this restaurant was in the Merchant City/Finniston or the south side it would have been packed out every day, but because of its location right in the city centre it didn't stand a chance. Oh and the lack of publicity did not help. So guys you have missed the boat on this one, mores the pity.

Out of 4 people, 2 got forgotten about. We had to remind them. So half of our company started to eat 20 mins after the other 2. Started badly with the waitress delivering a bottle of wine to the table with the cork stir in situ. We got one of our bottles of wine for free. But it didn’t negate the poor experience we had. This night followed on from a similar experience there a month ago. The food was really nice. But none of us will be returning anytime soon. Twice bitten thrice shy.

The most incredible food full of flavour. I came here for my graduation, which the staff were nice enough to give me a card to congratulate me! The food is so fresh and incredible quality. The waitress was so lovely and explained the menu and dishes for us. Would recommend coming here if you want something very special.

We received a warm welcome here both from the staff and the clientele. Spicy prawns with fries and chilli jam and the fish goujon wrap were excellent. You can also pay on a drink or a meal for someone who is not as fortunate as yourself, which is a lovely touch.

Lovely evening, dancing n drinking to a DJ. Prices not bad, bar area quite small n cosy, upstairs toilets lovely .
