The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Always call in during our stay in Rhosneiger...the staff are lovely and the decor is lovely...just feel the Menu could be better, maybe a few Specials wouldn't go a miss...always seems to be sufficient staff on but nobody in charge....we had our food on a quiet Sunday night yet nobody cleared our plates away, we sat for half an hour and in the end got up to.pay at the bar, plates still on the table and noticed a lot of glasses still on tables with people still on them....maybe complaicany due to lack of oompetition around....but premium prices should equal premium service/standards...

A comfortable relaxed place. We both had fish and it was fresh and well cooked. Brill fillet was well seasoned and had a crisp skin.

The stand out from our experience this evening was the service. Polite, knowledgeable and helpful he made good recommendations and made us feel very welcome.

Took my mum and dad for a quick fish supper food was fantastic staff were nice and friendly ended up having the lunch time special fish chips mushey peas and a pot of tea £10 good portion size we were impressed I had a beer with mine galway hooker Irish ipa it was that nice I bought a crate of 12 online when I got home

Went to merchants fish bar Bewdley for a Birthday lunch with friends, good value for the money beautiful fish as always, also lovely and clean first time in the restaurant well done 👏 x

Such a warm welcome from everyone and enjoyed seeing the locals at the bar laughing and enjoying themselves, a real feel of Cornish community about the place. Extensive menu so you don’t have to just stick to fish and chips, fish pie, curried cod and prawns to name but a few other choices. If you can get a window seat above the old lifeboat launch ramp do it. Enjoyed our meal here and a must visit if you are in the area.

First time visit from a recommendation. Ordered a regular fish & chips, peas and curry for around £16 (after a discount code was applied). Didn’t think too much of that as fish and chips are pretty pricey these days. Once I saw the size of the fish finger I was getting served I had already decided that I was going to leave a disappointed review. However, somehow that relatively small sized piece of fish was chunky, flakey and delicious. All in all, I’d say I’m disappointingly impressed. Not sure if this place has nailed it for it to be my go to chippy in the area. Maybe next time I could just order 2 fish.

I had a great meal at the chip shed, my friends had told me how good it was and it didn't disappoint. Stand out of the night was the service from Georgia, she was friendly, conversational and completely right about the curry sauce!

Gezellige pub maar het eten is niet verschrikkelijk lekker, matig. Is wel leuk echt lokale pup met lokale mensen. We kwamen geen enkele toeristen tegen. En er wordt wel echt sport gekeken

We sampled the seafood chowder It was really tasty with lots of chunks of seafood in it. Delicious! The price was reasonable.

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Freie Platzwahl und schneller Service. Teller sind sogar vorgewärmt. Hier hatte ich die Besten Fish n Chips die ich bisher gegessen habe! Gerne wieder!

We bought take away fish and ships and they were the most disgusting. Left over from lunch . Absolutely dripping in oil and it is obvioss that the oil is never changed. It was the best and now the worst with very rude staff after being a customer for over 16 years we will never go back or recommend the awful place.

Gave it a try there was few people sat in the restaurant bizzarly as I was eating my dessert I was the only person sat in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon 🤔 nice menu gives you a brief history of the restaurant I ordered haddock with chips and curry sauce the fish was good but still can't get over a restaurant charging £2.90 for a can of Fanta way too much I finished with a banana split 🍌 it was nice and a good coffee ☕

Stopped by for a takeaway fish supper tonight. When Catch first opened it was a go to place, however the last few times were disappointing. So I decided to give it another try. The chips were cold and greasy and the medium fish ( more like a small imo) was also limp, not a crispy batter and tasted “old”. Not cheap and I had to throw it out. I won’t be back.

Had a really good experience here. Waiting staff were lovely, place is beautiful and happy hour oysters being £1 each is such a bargain that we ate 24 each!
