If there’s one thing I know from my first-class days, it’s how to spot top-tier service and great food—and the tapas evening at Cap & Feathers in Tillingham did not disappoint. Four of us touched down for a night of food and fun, and we were in for a treat! Every table was packed, and yet the service was smooth, with friendly staff and that fire roaring away, adding the perfect cosy touch. Now, onto the food: prawns, chilli chicken, beef, and a paella that made us want to stay grounded for more. Those dishes were the stars of the night, bursting with flavour and seriously good value. It’s not every day you find a menu that matches the quality you’d expect at 35,000 feet! A special shout-out to Dave, the chef, who came out for a chat, making sure everything hit the spot. It’s those personal touches that make all the difference. And with the music and buzzing atmosphere, it felt like a full-on fiesta—no turbulence here! Honestly, it was an evening where everything came together perfectly—great food, great company, and even better service. I’ll definitely be booking another seat at this culinary flight!

This is a great little place for a social visit with a friend or for lunch break from work. Excellent value for money and the food is great. Even offer free delivery. Highly recommend.

Cafe is the recommended place to go after Glossop parkrun as it is a short stroll from the finish area. Lovely outside seating area, very sunny, next to a stream made it a relaxing time. Good coffee and home made scones fresh out of the oven. Go there after the run, you deserve it.

I have came to the shop several times to buy her delicious blondies in particular, but this Valentine’s Day box I bought for me and my partner was absolutely stunning (presentation and taste wise) would highly recommend any of her treats and especially the seasonal gift boxes! :)

Local cafe with good food. You can have your own tailor made order, can choose any combination of food. They deliver locally, always on time. If they expect it will be a longer wait, they will tell you. Perfect food. Recommened

Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere. No issues changing veggie breakfast to a vegan one. They had gluten free bread, vegan sausages and Vegan spread which was awesome. Great value for money too. Changing facilities and high chairs also provided. 5stars all day.

Lovely Coffee shop,Really friendly atmosphere with a great selection of food and tatsy cakes on offer.I visit here often, It's not only a friendly comfortable,clean place to sit in, Gillian the owner has a wide range of delicious fresh homemade food and cakes to suit many dietary requirements. Excellent Staff are so lovely, nothing too much trouble some are volunteers giving their time so clean, relaxing lovely court yard The food was excellent 👌 They even have a display cabinet that had some amazing Jewellery for sale and clogau bracelet with the hospice symbol pens 🖊 note pads and coffee for sale, too Thank you Diolch
