I absolutely love this place it is by far the best best best fish and chip shop In herne bay! Reasonable prices the man there is always so lovely and friendly the portion sizes are amazing, this is my local chip shop now, he’s always so kind to my daughter who usually collects as I wait in the car but I’ve certainly not found better than this place you will not be disappointed

Went for the Sunday carvery Staff were very friendly and welcoming Interior was spotlessly clean and food was superb great hospitality and value for money the meat was excellent and plenty of it best gravy I’ve had in a long time good selection of fresh veg faultless

This is no longer the Fisherman's Wife. It would be great if the people that have taken it over could also serve a variety of locally caught fish.

literally the best chipper chips ive ever had, very cheap and gives a LOT of chips for what you buy. seriously so good.

Food was very good - had medium cod which was huge and nicely cooked with a light and crispy batter. Chips were just right and plentiful and didn't have to wait. It's not cheap, but is good quality.

normally we love this chip shop but tonight it was a lot later than it originally said and the chips were overcooked and cold

Had a wonderful experience here as a household that doesn’t eat animal products - ordered the vegan beast box and it was incredible. Highly recommended, particular the vegan chicken tikka!

I have used this fish and chip shop before and really enjoyed eating there fish and chips, but this time the fish was obviously cooked the day before the batter was like cardboard and fish really dry and inedible had to bin the fish the dog wouldn’t even eat it!

There is only takeaway, no dining in.

Fantastic cod and chips! Freshly cooked, hot, tasty and very welcome after a lovely walk in the sun on Llansteffan beach. Would definitely recommend.
