We had such a lovely lunch at Heilan Scran. A friend recommended the loaded fries to us and they did not disappoint! Delicious food and tasty hot drinks all with lovely views of the castle. Great customer service too - couldn't ask for more!

Self check-in and big room with en-suite and a handy microwave. Not many places to eat out nearby however Co-op across the road so microwave meal from there did the job. No breakfast provided and nearby bakery not open until 9am, however Co-op also do fresh coffee and pastries. A lot of traffic noise from outside so harder to sleep. I was also next to a fire exit which other guests kept using to go outside and chat loudly on their phones, also making it hard to sleep. Good sized room and definitely good having the Co-op across the road but i wouldn’t recommend due to the noise. Also very limited parking unless you’re early

Not great, staff unhelpful and not exactly following food safety. Witnessed a member of staff for a good 10+ minutes handling paper coffee cups and simultaneously wiping there nose with the palm of their hand and then wiping their hand on their jeans and back to holding the cup not only by the rim but also the inside of the cup and then using the coffee grinder machine. Extremely grim.

Sticky dirty tables, ‘wiped’ with a filthy cloth when asked to clean, tables not cleared, staff seem completely disinterested in their roles, toilets awful. The whole place needs a deep clean and staff trained…so much lost potential for what could be a lovely cafe in a tourist area.

We came here with high hopes only to be disappointed. The restaurant wasn’t cleaned properly same with your drinking glasses, … We were with a lot who ordered many different things and no one finished there plate. The presentation was wack the food was dry or to watery. The curry looked absolutely horrendous. They weren’t even sure if it was supposed to look like that. There was a mix up also so our food came seperate over a time span off around 30 minutes. We didn’t stay in the hotel so that might be ok but certainly DO NOT come for the food it sucks.
