Reasonably priced, conventional Pay and Display (ticket) parking (not ANPR parking mangement which makes a nice change). Knowledgeable staff in visitors centre to advise you on your trip up Ben Nevis. Café and toilets available.

Unfortunately this useful stop is very badly let down by the food. It clearly comes from a low quality supplier. I definitely might compare it to school dinners from the 70's. You really can't expect clients to eat this in the 21st century . We are too well travelled and used to better, everywhere. I know getting good chefs/ cooks is difficult but this is altogether a very low bar. Please, for yourself and others, just do better?

Horrendous, we arrived and stood in a queue for a breakfast in the restaurant. Appeared to have 2 or 3 staff members walking about ignoring people, one member of staff on the till who had been sold down the river and had no clue if they were serving breakfasts. Wound up with people leaving, including us. Huge place like that with one staff member trying to do everything. Avoid

Our tour bus (CIE) stopped here for lunch and shopping on our first full day of our tour. I almost turned around and went home. A terrible welcome into the Scottish Highlands. The cashier in the gift shop was literally screaming at a customer, and the lunch counter line was WORSE than the customs and immigration line returning home. Literally. By the time I got through the line, all that was left was a cup of lukewarm leek soup (1.5 stars - do not recommend) and a stale roll that I think they probably pulled out of the shelter donation pile. I will be telling my tour operator to never stop there again, of course, but if anyone is travelling independently and looking for a spot to stop, please try to make it 45 minutes further up the road to Ft. Augustus - lots of spots to stop and you'll enjoy that Scottish hospitality that you won't find at Ben Nevis.

We pit stopped here on our trip to the highlands and were welcomed with utter rudeness and no understanding. We were carrying our own lunches as we are fasting for a religious holiday, the lady asked us not to have our meals here even though our trip organiser had mentioned that we can get our own lunches and have it here. We also saw that others eating their own meals but they were never asked not to eat inside. Is it discriminating?? Never visiting this place again!! Manager kept talking about us with other colleagues and giving looks even though we ended up eating outside in rain and getting a coffee from this place.

This used to be a wonderful venue for meals and shopping but lately has declined drastically. Well understaffed although the staff there are nice. I visited for breakfast, arriving at the usual time of 9am, only to find a sign on the door stating that "due to staff shortages we will not open till 10am. Meaning I had to wait in the rain for an hour as there was nowhere else that I knew of. If they can open at 10, what is wrong with opening an hour earlier? I visited again a month later, this time arriving at 10am, and entered the restaurant to be confronted with a sign indicating that "due to staff shortages" we will not be serving breakfast. This place needs to get its act together, or they will lose much trade, mine included

This place is NOT prepared to be a touristic stop by. There was almost no food (and it was 12pm!!!), and whatever was there looked and tasted awful. Service is extremely slow and inneficient. The only reason I had to go to this place is due to the tour I was in, so I had no other options as we had only 40 min there. So, if you are not obligated to go there (by the tour guide), DONT GO,

Used toilet facilities first - clean but desperately need an upgrade. Had a bacon sandwich and coffee in the restaurant. Good value - not the best quality but for price we were very happy. Really lovely staff working in there. Whisky Shop - so overpriced. Don't buy anything in there - you'll get cheaper and possible even a better selection at the supermarkets. We purchased a bottle of whiskey (can't recall which as it's not my tipple), for £48. It was £35 in the local offy. Lots of tourist tatt - great if you're in a rush to buy something but most of it is overpriced.

Terrible food, terrible service. Waited some time for someone to acknowledge us then serve us lukewarm food from metal trays. The sausage will haunt me for days, and the coffee was half a cup of lukewarm beige. To top off the joyous experience, the shop you have to walk through was full of all the old tourist tat they got rid of from the Rotal Mile. Avoid, there’s better places in town and a Costa up the road.

The Center is fine but the toilet opening times are crazy. They open at 8.30 and close at 4. It takes most people 4 hours up and 3 down. If you are walking up Ben Nevis then it’s pretty poorly managed. The restricted toilet times probably explains why we came across numerous people stopping for a no.2 next to the path on the way down. It’s 6 quid to park. Add another quid to extend the toilet times if that’s needed. Surely having walkers able to visit a toilet before climbing is common sense.

We went in the West Highland Restaurant, but it turned out to be more of a cafe than a restaurant. We were up for a nice coffee and nice cake, but in the end just had a coffee and KitKat as the what was available looked dry and old fashioned. Also there was a strong smell of old cooking oil which put us off. The coffee was also not very good. We don't know if this was typical, but it reflects our experience as the worst we experienced in a 2 week trip in Scotland.

We came here with high hopes only to be disappointed. The restaurant wasn’t cleaned properly same with your drinking glasses, … We were with a lot who ordered many different things and no one finished there plate. The presentation was wack the food was dry or to watery. The curry looked absolutely horrendous. They weren’t even sure if it was supposed to look like that. There was a mix up also so our food came seperate over a time span off around 30 minutes. We didn’t stay in the hotel so that might be ok but certainly DO NOT come for the food it sucks.
