Very popular on a Saturday morning, so be prepared to queue to obtain your food order. Nice selection of breakfast dishes, including full Scottish, Salmon and Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough toast. Waffles also available. Great coffee and Latte - both on small side. They also have both Lemon Curd pancakes and Apple Crumble pancakes - both recommended. Arrive before 10am if you want breakfast before the rush arrives. The fruit scones are lovely. Number 1 on my list. There is a well stocked farm shop and gift shop. We'll worth a visit.

My partners pizza was cold when arrived the young man immediately sorted it. When it returned my partner devoured it! With a big smile on his face. The shops were great too I had to pick up a few bits. And of course ice cream to finish 😊😊😊

Lovely restaurant I’ve visited many times . BUT this time I had a black pudding roll. It was mushy and not nice . Eddie Richie’s black pudding is much nicer . I know it’s a matter of taste but the one you use isn’t as nice . Your restaurant is lovely and well run with lovely staff and the only thing I didn’t like is the afore mentioned black pudding. More consideration and parking space for dogs than disabled people. Awkward slope into restaurant, instructions to queue for food before finding table. No mention of help being available if it is needed and no menus ready for those who could not access crowded blackboard. Very crowded with restricted access - dog's bums passing loaded plates and diner's heads as the animals were carried into their designated area. Horrendously noisy as people shouted at each other in order to be heard. Staff helpful and courteous although very busy, but young lady in food shop should not address all elderly customers as "darling". Good food ruined by ghastly experience.

Travelling down the A9 from Orkney to Pitlochry and needed somewhere to stop midway. The Storehouse was perfectly placed between the two, and right alongside the A9. There's a large car park, with plenty of empty spaces, but it was still busy at 16:00 on a Saturday afternoon. The dining room was three quarters full, too, but the queue at the counter moved quickly and the food arrived promptly too. It was well cooked, very pleasant and reasonably priced. Everywhere, including the loos, was spotless. Recommended.

Have long been a visitor and never been disappointed with the food or the service. However, visited today and the food was very good but the service was a bit strange. The staff kept clearing away our table before any of us had finished eating. I wondered of we were being rushed so.they could have the table?

There is a lake beside the cafe grounds and you can sit in the tented area and be warm but still enjoy the outside. There are some shopping areas and artist/local makers gallery/shop. Our visit to this cafe today for lunch was unfailingly a joyous experience. Here is a place that is in a beautiful location with lovely views of the Cromarty Firth, distant hills and sunbathing seals on the nearby rocks. As a family, we have dined here for at least the last 17 years, while on holiday. This place is the bench mark of a well run establishment. A visible and welcoming owner, who runs a tight ship with happy, loyal, motivated and well trained staff, who work positively together as a team to deliver a high level of customer service. Nothing is too much bother and the staff are keen to check that you have everything that you need and that your lunch is satisfactory. There is a high level of cleanliness both at table side, self service station and toilet facilities, with supplies replenished and checked frequently. The food menu is extensive and of a high quality, (most produce is locally sourced), freshly made, portions are generous and prices are reasonable. This is a very popular cafe and as a result, there can be a long queue around lunchtime. However, this is mitigated by the super organisational skills of the Manager and their team, so the wait doesn't feel too long and it's definitely worth it. I have to say, that in 17 years of dining here, I have never had a bad lunch and the staff have always been professional and helpful in their approach regarding any additional requests made by myself/family. I am not surprised this cafe has won previous awards and accolades and I would highly recommend a visit to extended family & friends.
