The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Ordered a take out pizza the service was great but the pizza wasn’t at all very dry and not much going on with the toppings won’t be going back which is a shame as it used to be great not anymore

Raw pizza and rude staff Ordered a romana It came soggy/ floppy with see through dough which was still stretchable. Clearly under cooked. I sent it back and saw the “chef” say it wasn’t undercooked and if I wanted it more cooked I’d have to have a classic. All 3 staff looked at me funny. The waitress didn’t come back to say they were changing my order. I’ve eaten romana before. Clearly the pizza stone wasn’t hot enough. So I cancelled my order and tried to pay just for the drink. The waitress got half way through serving me then went off again to talk to the chef. I’d already explained I didn’t have much time. After again complaining someone came and put the coke through the till. Bad food accompanied by rude service. In a service station with lots of choice they should be on their game. Would never return

I rang and explained what I wpuld like to order and the guy on the phone was very helpful. I explained that last time I had ordered cookie dough it was burnt and it had put me off ordering it again. He explained why this may have been the case and said he would be watching 👀 it and so I ordered two. I also said I was disappointed about my favourite base not being available but understood the explanation. I am so grateful for ordering as the guy had really listened to me and went the extra mile. The food was exceptionally quick, the cookie dough was not burnt and my pizza even had an extra touch of my favourite base which is currently unavailable! After being away and a long flight home decided not to cook and thought I’d order a jacket potato with cheese and salad This came 1 hour later ..no butter and no salad for £6.90!! Disgusting

Gave me curry sauce that looked like sick and it was red, came cold and was as hard as a rock, when I tried to take a chip out of the box, 3 came out as they were all stuck together in the maple syrup textured sauce, I resorted to eating my cousins crust off his pizza, the pizza that he had was actually half decent but when I called up and told them about my chips, they said they could do nothing about it which made me become roudy and boisterous over the phone resulting in me punching a hole in my wall, that was all the money I had left, my parents are in a bad situation and i spent it on your sick looking ‘homemade curry sauce’

Amazing pizza, I ordered Vege Supreme pizza was so delicious and very fresh. Love the taste.

Entró a la tienda para pedir unas galletas de huevo crema (£ 6. 99 ) . El servicio al cliente era pobre. Abrió el cuadro de cookies para encontrar una cookie que se ve notablemente más pequeña que la otra, ambas pegadas entre sí y solo 2 cookies, en lugar de 4 como se obtiene con las cookies normales. Se les preguntó en la tienda si estaban destinados a verse así y se les dijo que ‘sí’. Envió la foto por correo electrónico a la oficina central para ver si están de acuerdo en que las cookies estaban destinadas a ser de tamaños totalmente diferentes y se pegan entre sí como en la foto. Se le dijo que sí. Dominó dice: “Nuestras cookies variarán ligeramente de tamaño, sin embargo, la imagen proporcionada muestra las cookies que nuestro rango de cookies requiere”.

After seeing all the negative reviews I had to chime in... We have been using Ali's over 6 years, we eventually stopped because the food and service was terrible! But whoever took it over or whichever chefs they sacked was a brilliant idea... The curries are some of the best curries I've had in a long time, certain things could still do with a change like the onion bhajis and paneer pakora, just not crispy enough. But this place definitely doesn't deserve the hate that it got years ago!! We never have issues with the food nor the delivery for over a year! Food quality is always so good 👍

Absolutely delicious food and so very friendly.

I have used this store for years the same lads work in there and the food is always fantastic. Please don’t close this store down it is the heart of Barnsley town centre and I’ve never had a bad meal from their top fellas top pizza top place. 👍
