High Street Chippie & Pizza in Rotherham

Just your average chippy, food is on the expensive side, portions are not in line with how much you pay. Staff and owner are very friendly and the inside is dated. If they could give slightly better portions or prices this would be 4 stars.

Only coz I can't give a 0 star rating. £17 and didn't even fees 2 adults and a toddler Far too over priced, chips and pies were barely warm. Never going again

unfortunately one of fishcakes, potato, was solid. we tried to cook it in the air fryer but it was still uneatable. the rest of the order was ok.xx

Thanks for a lovely quiet of food and service. I've just got to order a small size for next time as there was enough for 2 different meals for me or if you are a couple just order a larger size curry or peas it will do one meal for you both. Thanks. Take care and keep safe.

Poor service kept calling me love and not really bothered Not had a full portion of chips not even half a bag everytime she serves the portions are meager and she’s very not interested

Sausage was Greasy, curry not much flavor and fish was riddled with bones I understand one or two but every bite there was about 3-6 bones. Some of the bones are big so don't understand how they was missed unless they don't go through it. So not enjoyable to eat. Not going back so poor

Ordered 2 pizzas and the cheese on both had a sour taste and smell to them, upgraded to 12” pizzas to qualify for the free garlic bread which wasn’t sent either

back to normal enjoyed today's meal

fresh hot food, however, a large curry sauce was missing from the order.

Charged £6.40 for chips, fishcake and curry sauce. Tasted horrendous, took it back and left on the counter.

The food was almost an hour late. I understand the weather hasn’t been great but maybe the delivery times should be updated accordingly. The food arrived barely warm and the kebab pitta was like cardboard. The only reason I ordered from this restaurant was because the delivery time was reasonable. How wrong I was.

Never had an issue with food from here, but tonight was just inedible, chips were dry and hard, doner meat was so cold and that hard that when you stuck fork into it the meat literally snapped, sausage was cold and gravy was warmish but was like jelly!! Very dissatisfied

Ordered a 1/2lb chicken burger and chips meal with no tomato, got home and opened it up to find a 1/4lb chicken burger with tomato and about 10 chips, got charged £9.50 for that and it's not even close to what I ordered, wouldn't usually mind but I was the only person in there come on it's not hard really is it!

Was only warm fish was tasteless chips not quality potatoes and peas well what can I say just really dark green no taste either

Just had fish and chips from here.terrible, the chips were dry and inedible and so was the fish,I suppose that the peas were ok, it's like they were cooked earlier in the day and warmed back up, won't be calling again.

Food was just totally disgusting. The chips were all different sizes so some were cooked, undercooked and over cooked. The fish was big but was not white but yellow and black burnt bits. Was honestly like trying to chew leather.

Everything was great just a bit late 😄

The food was really nice, fish was massive, chips where fresh, garlic bread was nice, sausages and chicken nuggets kids ate them so must have been nice we would happily order again. Was abit late but asked for update on order and it was correct which is fine for us, driver friendly and apologised for it being late but we was happy enough

Never had an issue with food from here before now, but the American burger & fries were disgusting. The fries tasted like yesterdays “re-cooks” and the burger bun was soggy. Fair to say it was not eaten.

Never used to have issues with food from here, but the recent visit was definitely not happy and made my mind up that I won't be going again I'm afraid, which is a shame. The food was wrong, cold and horrible. I can't rate the service or atmosphere any better either I am afraid with staff falling out with each other and that's probably why they got the order wrong.

Left food outside and had no contact when food arrived. Gone to check for food and 30 minutes after been told its being placed behind a garage when I don't have one. Poor service.

All the food we had was cold the chips box was melted to the chips and the only thing that was actually decent was the pizza and the strawberry cheese cake

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the food that I received. Firstly, the fries that I ordered were clearly fried in old oil, which resulted in them being stale, greasy, and overall unappetizing. It was evident that the oil used for frying had not been changed for a long time, as the fries had a strange and unpleasant taste. I was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the fries, and this alone made my experience a disappointment. Furthermore, Doner that I ordered was equally disappointing. The taste was bland and lacked any distinct flavor, not properly cooked, making it unappealing and unappetizing. The overall quality of the food was poor, and it was not worth the money I paid for it.

Food was about 10 mins late the chicken nuggets wear nice and so were the chips however I think the chips could be improved thankyou for the free kids drinks

Never ordered from here before but thought I'd give it a try. Absolutely beautiful! Generous portions, still warm despite us living quite a distance away & lovely. The kebab wrap is fantastic! Will definitely order again!

Ordered food at 4:30pm and it didn’t arrive till 6:20pm, I live 3 mins away by car. Chips were burnt and cold, not worth the money. Would not recommend. Find somewhere better!

On arriving late by 45 mins was it not only luke warm but for paying £11 for large fish it was 98% batter hollow no fish delivery girl came back took it to show shop owner and couldnt apologise enough disgusting

I have ordered numerous times and never had an issue. I received a message the order was on its way at 18.55, it arrived at 19.35 and the chips were cold the pizza and garlic bread were tepid but it was a complete waste of my time waiting in and also money. Although I have to say the delivery lady was lovely
