Pizza Hut - Doncaster in Doncaster

I rang and explained what I wpuld like to order and the guy on the phone was very helpful. I explained that last time I had ordered cookie dough it was burnt and it had put me off ordering it again. He explained why this may have been the case and said he would be watching 👀 it and so I ordered two. I also said I was disappointed about my favourite base not being available but understood the explanation. I am so grateful for ordering as the guy had really listened to me and went the extra mile. The food was exceptionally quick, the cookie dough was not burnt and my pizza even had an extra touch of my favourite base which is currently unavailable! We visited as a family for the buffet. From the very start the staff were grumpy. The trainee manger did not help much. Had to wait around for the pizza, about 15 minutes. When we asked for more pizza, we was told that we are KILLING IT, quote...eating too much, come on its a buffet!!! Complained to the manager..its been a week now still haven't heard from them. We decided to leave..staff were not at all helpful..overall a very disappointing experience.

Good pizzas at a generally very good price however management seem to be dragging down a genuinely good set of staff!

We visited as a family for the buffet. Fast friendly service. Unfortunately the wait for pizzas being brought out wasn't good. The drinks are good value. Ice cream factory was loved by the kids. If the pizza chefs could make more pizzas depending on how busy it was i would have given this restaurant a higher rating.

What else can you expect of a chain restaurant? Mediocre Food, Mediocre Service, nothing much to write about here.

Rang up for a delivery to be told they don’t deliver to where we are even though a week before we had one delivered without a problem. It’s only just over 3miles away.

Fast food, tasty and plenty to choose from. Located in the heart of the community. A good pub local so a drink afterwards

Ordered a pizza delivery, it was for 4 pizza,s so not cheap,it took an hour and 5 mins to arrive, !! blamed traffic because of racecourse event, but going back road past Morrisons and asda takes 10 mins max, shocking, rang when it was 10 mins late to find out where it wasa to be told driver had left 5 mins before, and yet it still took 30 mins after that to arrive, It was burnt and stone cold, so completely inedible, hubby tried a slice,and said there was no taste,except a strange taste,resembling washing up liquid, guess staff didnt like me saying their customer service was shocking, so after waiting all that time, we had to then go to local chip shop for tea,I said they should of given something extra in the order,or at least rang,the man/boy who answered the phone blamed the other manager (who strangely had just left) for not ringing, If they,d even rang to say it was going to be late, could of decided whether we wanted order or not. no wonder they wont accept cash for large orders ,card beforehand only, Don,t waste your money,you will get cold pizza,that arrives very late, and if you complain your pizza *may* have an extra ingredient,

Service excellent. Food excellent. Restaurant ambience was good but liked the old style better with the booths and lower eating area by the Windows. Would definately go back though.

We went to eat here on Saturday night at 9.30. On walking in we stood for a long time to be seated even though it was not busy at all..we ordered and went to the salad bar only to realise there was hardly anything left..we were told that they shut at 10 o'clock. ..out meal was being rushed out and we would not have time to eat it and also there was no salad bar we decided to cancel our order and leave..staff were very young and not at all helpful..overall a very disappointing experience

I visited here on a work meal out. There was 7 of us but there were larger groups there than us. It was busy when we arrived but had quietened down within half an hour. As always with pizza hut the food was good and to the usual standard. The staff didn't seem to know what was going on. Three members of staff tried to take our food order after the first staff member had already taken it - we were confused by this and the interruptions were irritating. We were there for about two hours when really we could have been out in an hour had the staff been organised. We waited 20 minutes trying to get someone's attention so we could pay and leave. In the end we all got up and stood at the bar to get the bill but even then we had to wait five minutes for the authorised person to come and take our money! We won't be going back.

This place is never on time with delivery - often gets orders wrong, and really does not deliver the same quality food as you get in the dine in restaurant.

As usual from pizza Hut food was spot on! New look restaurant was a hit looks great and lay out is good. But service was slow and we got forgotten about! No major problem but so much so we could of walked out. £20 for two to eat a pizza and a dessert each was good. Pitty service was what it was but hey sort of expected really.

Ordered a Texan BBQ pizza to be delivered on Saturday night for my daughter as a treat,nothing wrong with the pizza but can someone please explain to me how Pizza Hut get to the figure of £20.19 for 1 pizza,That is absolutely extortionate.How much can a pizza actually cost to prepare,I'm guessing £2 tops.i don't think iv ever seen a pizza for over £20 even in a restaurant environment.iv put my receipt on the photo forum as proof.

Good pizza, salad, pasta, friendly staff, good price, good with young children. Everyone seemed happy.

love all sorts of pizza so obviously going to like Pizza Hut, the price is just right for the amount of food and the unlimited salad bar and drinks are great as well, love that you can choose the different crusts and will obviously be going again!

I was quite impressed on my most recent visit to see this restaurant has been updated and refurbished. The decor is loads better now. Very vibrant and colourful. Gives a much warmer welcome. And more of an American feel. I highly recommend the week day buffet between 11.30-3pm for £6.99 you get all you can eat pizza, pasta and salad. Great value for money. For kids you can order them their own pizza and pay an extra £1 or so for the ice cream factory. Great value for money. Plus if you keep your receipt you can full a survey in online and get one free buffet on your next visit

Great food and service. The all you can eat is the best option sales wise and the desserts are lovely. My son loved all the food and the build your own ice cream is ace for the kiddies as well.

Visited here on Tuesday evening after 8pm. Whilst it was not busy, it took ages for our pizza to cook, however the waiting lady could not do enough, she discussed the children's menu with our 11yr old boy to ensure he was ordering exactly what he needed and made him feel as important as the adults. She was fabulous and a credit to the Doncaster restaurant!

We have Pizza Hut all the time and never have been disappointed by them there food is perfect no imperfections at all with lovely staff

We visit this Pizza Hut probably once every 2weeks. In the last month or since the refit its flown down hill - Massive and I mean massive lack of staff - from order to eating apart from the salad bowl get ready for a 1hr 15 minute wait. Undercooked or cold food served because it sits on the serving hatch waiting for someone to take control and serve what's there. Glass smashes, all inexperienced staff stand around looking for who will pick it up, not understanding that they can move or use initiative. The Manager compared to previous people could not manage a cloakroom never mind a restaurant. Katie who I recognise from years of going to Pizza Hut is really up against it, managing her customers , everyone else's customers and explaining to the manager what she should be doing. Katie very professional and concerned regards the service she provides. Sadly Pizza Hut is no longer for me as its complete carriage with the word - 'sorry being used to often , or ' we will refund this'. Someone needs to intervene and sort this out before regulars or new customers experience something they won't want to return too. Decent offers and menu, nothing to back it up at present.

We regularly order from Pizza Hut Takeaway and have had hot tasty food delivered to Tickhill. On 2 separate occasions we have ordered for our son's birthday parties at Austerfield Study Centre to feed over 40 people each time and again despite the increased numbers the food is always hot and tasty. Well done we won't entertain ordering from anywhere else

I am a great pizza hut fan but have to say that the team at Doncaster village seem to do everything just that little better than others we have visited.Faster service, better cooked and presented, frequently refilled and cleaned salad area....great job.

Service poor, attitude of staff worse,wrong order but they were only prepared to replace half the order therefore the rest would be cold. Garlic bread came with cheese ( which i did nit order, child it was for not allowed to eat cheese) was told to just scrape it off. Staff more interested in laughing and messing around/dancing than speaking with customers.management is poor.

We haven't been to a Pizza Hut for quite along time so after shopping today we decided to have lunch there. The garlic bread was very nice but the stuffed crust pepperoni pizza was soggy and tasteless, it was £17.49 so I think it was over priced. We also shared a supreme which was a lot nicer. The salad bar was poor and they had run out completely of tomatoes and nachos. The staff were faultless, all seemed to be enjoying their jobs, friendly and helpful. I think it will be along time before I go again, the total bill was £45.43 for 3 of us.

Placed order online and got an email to say it was being cooked, so I set off to pick it up as its over a10 min drive away. When I got there they hadn't even started it. When I eventually came one of the pizzas was totally wrong! They wanted to just remake that one until I insisted on both of them being re made as the other one would be cold. Will not be using this system again. One girl was very helpful while the others didn't really care. Only gave it one star as half a star is not an option.

Ate here this evening with my hubby & 2 girls (aged 4 & 1).We arrived just after 5pm & shown straight to a table and brought a highchair. We had an offer for 2 mains for the price of 1. I had a chicken pasta dish & hubby had a pizza. Both came with unlimited salad from the bar. We bought our daughter a £4.99 meal deal which inc a pizza, drink, dessert & salad bar too.We was very impressed with all the food, the service & the price!!Hats off to Pizza Hut.

we were disappointed but this may have been because we have not been to a Pizza Hut for some time. the salad bar is not as good as it used to be and the bowl is much smaller. the Pizza - while there is a lot of choice - did not seem to be as good

Recently ordered a delivery, order was wrong, food was late therefore cold and the staff are so unprofessional when I rang up to sort this out!Entire order got thrown away

ate here yesterday and its a fab little place and fab for some quick food but its quite standard the pizza came and it was more tomato than cheese and the kids pizza had probably a flick of cheese on it other than that it was nice the base was nice just a little more effort into the food would be recommended

had 2 lovely pizzas delivered today.staff very friendly,food was very hot and fresh.would highly recommend

Pizza Hut..what a joke. Phenomenally poor service. Cold dry pizzas on delivery and took 1 hour 10 to arrive. ..I live 10mins from the shop. Poor management and customer service skills (pizza hut balby). Pizza Hut....you should be ashamed! Would highly suggest you don't waste your time or money. John owens thank you for ruining the end of a stressful day. Your name will be mentioned to head office!

The delivery took under 30 minutes and delivered straight to the hotel. The staff on the phone were lovely and explained everything since I didn't have a menu. The food was piping hot and the delivery driver took care to make sure all my order was there before leaving. I got a great discount even though I didn't have any vouchers. I will definitely order from here next time I'm in Doncaster.
