Eating in instead of takeaway isn't really a good thing in this place, it seems like it isn't very well maintained and I just felt a bit uncomfortable.

Food is good, service a bit chaotic. Not a sit in place to me but a good takeout.

If I could give it 0 stars I would !

Ordered a Large mixed kebab and salad.to take out.Absolutely delicious Enough for 2 people to be honest,just got an extra pitta bread ,all for £14.50,So great food,great service,great price.100% recommend..

Wow Wow best kebab I've ever had. These guys are artists in in the prep and delivery of lamb shish kebab. I am enthralled.. Do not go anywhere else!!!

Ridiculous! Ordered food and they messed up my order, then when I stated them forgot my cheesy chips they sent me a pot of cheese. Absolute Joke!😡😡😡😡Never ordering from here again!

Purchased 4 chicken kebabs, the chicken was pink with some showing bits of blood. Contacted the shop who didn’t believe me so came back to my house to collect the chicken to show the manager, they advised they would be in touch! 7 days later still waiting. Avoid!!!!

Used to love chicos. We paid for large mint lamb kebab, got delivered cheap hard cardboard normal kebab. Random to complain said they would send replacement sent the exact same one again by this time rest of oureal was cold and all went in the bin.

Piza burned underneath asked for extra onions got extra red onions ruined piza even more and when you ask for chunky chips and get nasty fries you no what your dealing with no more to say

Spent £30 on a takeaway, status went to delivered but no food received from us, so delivered to wrong address and then no response when I tried to find my food, not happy at all will not be ordering again. Joke

Rude owner, shouted at me for his staff taking orders wrong then insisted on making me pay for their mistake whilst complaining to me he can’t get staff! Pretty bizarre! Food was pretty naff, choose another!

I was very dissatisfied with the pizza I got tonight, I usually get a chicken connection which is usually lovely chicken, sweetcorn and garlic. I was disappointed to find the pizza covered in a cheap nasty chicken that tasted absolutely vile. I’m very disappointed with the service tonight snd I’ll contemplate ordering again

Place is clean and tidy, friendly staff. Good prices and the kebab meat is the best in town and the garlic mint yoghurt sauce. Would not go anywhere else

I quite regularly order here with my family however tonight’s food was quite disappointing, whilst what I ate of my calazone was delicious, half of it inedible as it was burnt through, furthermore we ordered 2 tiramisu’s both of which were frozen solid even after about an hour when we had all eaten dinner

Raised their prices, dropped their quality. Used to order from here frequently but god knows what's happened over the past year to make their food so unsatisfactory. To make it worse they make their food more expensive and an order for 2 costs 1.5x more and isn't even that good!

We ordered off the Chicos website. The food arrived 1hour early and tasted very nice, everyone was happy with the food until one of us got food poisoning after eating a lamb kebab and woke up the next morning throwing up. The pizza we ordered also came cold.

Very average at the best, they have some decent value deals on however I advise to ask how they prepare there meals.. most kebabs come with the pitta separate along with the sauces and salad.. ok if you’re at home and using a plate! Don’t expect customer service or a acknowledgement of issues from the shop they simply just don’t care.

We have eaten from this place twice, both times were left dissatisfied. For the first order, we got 2 mixed kebab wraps for around £7 each. When they arrived, it was not mixed and had just 5 small pieces of chicken in. Although they did apologies and get a replacement, they didn’t acknowledge the disgustingly small portion size and the replacement was equally as small. We ordered there again, reluctantly, as everywhere else was shut. The dough on the pizza was raw and inedible. They claimed it was due to the small size, but as I work in a pizza place I know that this is false. They gave a replacement that was also raw.

Food is great but one of their staff members just screamed at me. He assumed an order was for me and when I didn't respond to him screaming WINGS at me etc he lost it. I had to explain it wasn't my order calmly and thanked him for shouting at me. The poor lass behind the counter was really sweet and tried to defuse the situation. He is an unpleasant man that shouldn't be having contact with customers.

Really gone downhill quickly. Won't be using them again in a hurry.

Late night takeaway. Arrived hot and fresh as you like, was told half an hour, arrived in 25 minutes. Food was delicious as always and excellent value (Home alone deal £11.99+£1 delivery)

Lovely Kebab. Not greasy at all. Cheese chips were lush too.

Up for great Yorkshire show . Having traded there for many years this is my go to dinner take away. Love the photos on wall ans food is amazing.

Solid greasy fast food goodness

As we couldn't get in anywere (covid/bank holiday ) we chose this takeaway. Was lovely food. With friendly staff :) Definitely recommend. I had a chicken wrap my partner had mix kebab was yummy!!

Steer very clear of these con artists. Ordered via JustEat , never received the meal , was offered a 50 % refund (?) , then a full refund when I challenged. Never received a penny and JustEat couldn't help either ! Disgraceful , and worse still , they just don't care .

Very disappointing, been customer of Chico’s for over 30 years and unfortunately won’t go back, called after an hour and 20 minutes to be told they were a little late and would be there soon 🤦🏼‍♀️ over two hours for delivery, stone cold, tasteless and soggy.

What a dreadful meal, it was barely warm when it arrived, the pizza was burnt, and the garlic bread had no taste or smell of garlic. Steer clear of this place if you want a decent meal!

I was sat outside picking up my daughter and it asked me to rate it, they look very smiley and happy though.

Mixed kebab brilliant comes in individual boxes 1box exellent mixed meat+ box of salad with chillies carton yogurt sauce carton chilli sauce pitta. very nice

Just had a pizza takeaway tonight and felt the need to say how fabulous it was. We have been ordering pizza's from here for a few years now and we have never been disappointed. The food was piping hot and delicious. We even had a personalised note written on our pizza box! We really do feel like we are ordering from friends. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!

Order from them through just eat and no issues what so ever. The food has always arrived hot and always 10 mins early before the recommended time given. Been ordering from there for a few years and we've always been happy with them and happily continue to do so. Keep up the good work and thank you

Wont be going here again orderd via just eat paid via card only to get a call demanding more money to diliver as I live too far when challenged why they advised delivery to my area they tried to argue there way out of it saying would I expect delivery if I lived in London what s muppet

WOW the chicken shish was fantastic as a traveller from newcastle I normally just go for food and a drink at wetherspoons but the smell from the shop was beautiful and I am so glad I come in the staff are very friendly. Its though to find good service good food and a smile. Would 100% recomend this place to everyone

Ordered 2 pizzas on pizza deal 1, kebab and combo salami, in kebab pizza I literally took out a hear from my mouth, I called restaurant and they send me a new one, everything was fine until the delivery man laughed in my face, well my meal was destroyed after I found a hear and i dont really know what to expect after that smile/laugh from driver (it was not a nice thank you smile) Not ordering more from chicos, thank you

Visited for a kebab, which was massive (medium)! Really nice, pleasant staff and reasonably priced.

We attempted to claim a prize that Chicos had donated to a Harrogate based charity this evening only to be told that they would not honour it. They accused the charity of making up the prize, despite a voucher being awarded to us from them. If you want to buy pizza from a takeaway that treats local charities with contempt then this is the place for you. I won't mention the charity by name to save them the embarrassment of being associTed with this vile establishment. Oh and the staff, rude, ignorant and people who put themselves ahead of charity, you can imagine how delightful they are. Help spread the word and do not ever think of buying a pizza here !!!!

Would have been better if the kebab meat were not from the night before and not mostly cold. I think that it's a shame if you turn up before the drunk people you get the rubbish. Also I won't even risk a delivery again everything cold,4 out of 5 times, not the freshest ingredients overpriced now. Used to be the best in town not the same.

We ordered on Just Eat, originally should've arrived at 6.20pm, rang them at 6.35pm I was told the driver had left five minutes previously. The driver phoned us at 6.50pm as he couldn't find us. We eventually ate at 7pm, the food was cold, pizza thick based and overloaded , such a waste of £38!!

Ordered some food from them and when it came some of it was wrong. When I called up and told them they were rude and kept speaking over me and wouldn't give me a chance to say anything. When they brought the correct food it wasn't even cooked properly at all the chicken was all rock hard! If the owner is reading this 1: Learn some actual manners 2: Treat your customers with respect as customer service is the key. 3: Stop talking over your customers as its rude and you'll lose customers if you keep doing that 4: Cook your food properly as it was disgusting and awful!

Asked for a fresh kebab... Took the best part of 15 minutes before being told it would take another 5 minutes. When asked what the hold up was, he said fresh kebab takes longer to cook... What?! It was 6 o'clock on a Monday. Have ate here previously, wouldn't again.

Late, quiet night, the pizza dough had the taste and texture of old, reheated pizza base. As if a bat h had been made up a while ago, possibly frozen then thawed. I know most people in there at that time of night are so wasted you could give them cardboard and they would be happy, but some people taste the difference. Having said that, I've been there on and off for years and they normally do good junk food.

Great kebabs and good choice of other foods

I ordered a 3-Cheese Pizza here, and it was very nice--definitely a 4 star. It was a Saturday night, and Chico's had a large number of staff on, which meant customers were served quickly and the pizzas cooked straightaway. So that's a good sign of the efficiency of this shop. The pizza was piping hot and had lots of topping and flavour, the only thing stopping it getting full marks (hard to do in my pizza reviews, to be fair) was a touch too much sogginess in the dough. But I'd definitely go here again.

Chicos is different then other take aways by all means its because its different pizzas are stone baked and hand made daily fresh (not pan pizza like others) secondly every friday saturday they do chicken donner kebab weekends only and its amazing wraps you got to taste it if its any left and then strangely they are doing Belgium waffles yiu can have ice cream on and chocolate on i suggest you to check it out ... highly recommended...

Best late night takeaway in the town.

First time i ordered a chicken pizza it was pretty poor 4/10. This time round i got the pepperoni pizza with two deserts and its very good for the price. It wasnt amazing but 8/10 which for a time where no other takeaway is open is very good. Ive only had better pizza at one other place in this price bracket (farm pizza in chelmsford), but first time it wasnt so good so giving a 3.

Last night I ordered two 11” pizzas and was told it would be a maximum of 40 minutes for delivery. After 50 minutes I rang up and after 60 minutes I rang up and was told it was on the way and they were sorry. After 80 minutes I rang up for a third time and they contacted the driver who it turns out had gone out of Harrogate. Our order arrived after 85 minutes, the bottom of the pizza boxes were soggy along with the pizza and it was only just warm. I refused to pay full price and was only given £4 off when I believe we should not have paid at all. They were the worst pizzas I have ever eaten and I will definitely not be returning here!

Ordered pizza, topping not cooked. Ordered family fried chicken, inside still blood red. Chips were rock hard. Mixed kebab wasn’t mixed just kebab meat and burned chicken. What concerned me was the chicken was not thoroughly cooked. Our order ended up in the bin. It was delivered and unable to return or I would have. The meal was a complete fail.

Absolutely delicious. Ordered Calzone take away which came in a very well presented Calzone box (rather than a normal pizza box which would usually bash it about, a very nice touch!). Staff were incredibly friendly and even ran down the street when the realised they'd missed a drink off the order. Would definitely recommend.

Not my favorite kebab. Marinade on my chicken shish was bland. Chilli sauce was bland too. Nothing terrible about this place just not the best kebab but passable.
