Domino's in Harrogate

Worst Dominos ever. Came cold and half the order missing. Promised to deliver rest of food, waited an hour and had to call back, only to have my call put on hold forever. Called again and they said “I’m sending a driver right now”. You spend £30-£40 and expect it to be Dominos standard. This branch is appalling. Not the first time either. Last time we ordered large pizzas and got medium. We decided to give them another shot but seriously, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Delivery took over an hour and came fully cold. 🥶 not good at all

Hands down the worst dominos iv ever been to orders our food waited a well over a hour the order was completely wrong phoned and they sent out the order again …. Took a hour and a half order was yet again wrong and half was well undercooked avoid Harrogate east dominos like the plague!

Rude staff deliberate abuse and prevarication in order to try and keep your money without delivery. Cold pizza poorly prepared, no English among the staff, no longer a safe delivery for pizza. INGREDIENTS WERE ACTUALLY ROTTEN, ABSOLUTELY APPALLING PIZZA DIDN'T EVEN PASS THE SMELL TEST.

The deals are attractive ££ but the quality of the pizza has gone downhill imo

Put in a huge order. Only half delivered. Wouldn't deliver rest. Said to contact customer services and they would get back in 5 days.

Can we have English speaking staff very hard to communicate with managers and staff when English isn't there 1st language...

I ordered 38 large pizzas with a 1 week lead in time for an event. They were delivered promptly at the time requested and were all hot. Great service, manager very efficient and accommodating. Would recommend!

I ordered two pizzas and a side order as a pickup before my stay at the local Air B&B. The staff were friendly, and I got my pizza and chicken side order within a few minutes.

The pepperoni pizza is very filling soft and chewy, the cookies are soft gooey and very delicious would recommend

Asked for a VAT receipt, the driver forgot. I called the site and got an apology and said I could pick it up after work. When there after work the guy on the counter said he could not print it but said he would email in a couple of hours. Email never came. I'm concerned that they are committing VAT fraud.

Thanks to the staff who were able to use common sense when adding vegan cheese on a gluten free pizza despite the system not allowing it. Sort it out Domino's.

Not happy with domino's. They charged me twice for one order. Said I would get a refund so they took my email address and number. Its been 2 weeks and no refund. So I went in today and spoke to the women who took the order. She said she didn't remember me or the order so I showed proof. After taking ages trying to find it on the system I figured I wasn't going to get this refund so said I would just take another pizza of value. She was happy with this but all of a sudden when she took my name she remembered me. Said apologies I never got a refund she forgot to take my email address (I stated she took it) so she said ohh yes I also needed your number (I told her she took this also) she ignored me acting as if she never heard. So I told her it's fine I'll just use cash in future as this is the second time this has happened to me and also happened to a friend. She said they don't accept cash. So I now won't return. If this is how domino's are. Taking twice the money for one order and not acctually giving a refund knowing most customers will just say give me another order of value rather than wait weeks more for the refund. And they don't accept cash. Poor service. Shame as usually the food is good when I order.

Always so friendly and prompt with orders, the staff here are lovely from the second you walk in.

Paid an extra £2 for pizza sauce on my pizza which was a pepperoni which was already advertised as extra cheese and pepperoni and got a pizza that seemed like it was from a dodgy shop in Leeds that I’ve paid £1 for and I’ve just spent £20 for a pizza and 4 of the smallest cookies I’ve ever had and paid £6 for and one of them looked like it had a piece taken out of it do not go here if Roy want a good pizza would much recommend going to papa Johns which is less that 2 minutes away

Staff inclined to care about their online order fulfilment more than those there in person. You have to flag them down to make sure they don't ignore you for too long.. And leave your pizza to go cold.

Order from here a few times, maybe 5/6 times in the last year... constantly confusing orders and forgetting things. The latest of a long list of errors, festive chocolate coated cinnamon doughballs minus the chocolate or the cinnamon. Yup so, non-festive plain, unflavoured dough...

What's not to like? Cold, salty, poorly presented and late pizza. Couple that with overpriced pizza plus a £3 delivery charge and what do you have? Pizza no-no. Avoid.

Manager is absolut tool, doesnt know how to read or speak English.

I waited an hour and a half for a small cheese pizza. It arrived cold and missing the cheese from the centre as it had obviously been left under a hot lamp for ages. After it arrived I decided it was pretty much inedible and went through the online complaints system. This apparently wasn't good enough, so after submitting my pictures of my order, my proof of calling the shop and my order confirmation I was told compensation would only be offered if I had called the shop after receiving the order or if I hadn't accepted it. Well after waiting that long I wasn't going to check it on my doorstep or wait around trying to get through to the store again. Please don't waste your money on a company that don't care and do like I will and support the local eateries of Harrogate.

Just disgusting. After I said there’s 2 hair in a pizza guy said so take it out and show us and he hang up. He said not possible.

Horrific pricing. Most expensive pizza shop in the area and that includes VERY respectable restaurants. Pizzas are extremely inconsistent and have had numerous situations where I've had to send my pizza back from the same order multiple times. I had one scenario where the pizza had to be returned 4 times! It turned up looking like it had been slung at a wall! I was told by management, despite offering to give the pizza back, to send proof to his email because he checked the pizza before they left and it was fine. I sent proof via the email address he provided. He did apologise and was also shocked at the state of the pizza and even delivered the replacement himself however this took over 2 hours of going back and forth. All my friends had eaten their food and I was left to eat alone over an hour and half after they had eaten theirs. Because of the managers shock and sincere apologies I decided to keep this quiet however after their recent hike in price, I simply cannot keep this experience to myself. SORT OUT YOUR STAFF BEFORE YOU INCREASE YOUR PRICES!! My advice to anybody considering ordering from here would be go to Pizza Hut. They are cheaper, better quality, more consistent, and deliver VERY fast. They aren't perfect but if your looking to splash out, that would be my recommendation. UPDATE - after looking online, you can quite literally get bottomless pizza from Gordon Ramsey for £16, around two thirds of the price of 1 domino's pizza. Puts it into perspective I think.

Quite enjoy a Domino's when I feel like splurging on a takeaway - even more so at the minute as the deals are poor and the prices are higher than ever, but, isn't everywhere? Anyway, felt I needed to review after my nice experience the other day! My partner and I ordered on my payday, and halfway through our food, realised we didn't receive our big dip or our 1.25l bottle of Coke. I rang once we'd finished and the man who answered the phone was so nice and apologetic! The driver should have checked before leaving the store and apologised for my missing items. I said I wasn't fussed about the dip as we'd already eaten, but if the Coke could be delivered at some point that night, I'd appreciate it. An hour later, a driver knocks on my door with Coke and dip, bless him! Our pizzas were good and quite warm still (the toppings were slacking a bit, though! Basically one piece of pepperoni/tandoori chicken per slice), our chicken kickers fab and the cookies were beautiful as ever. I tend to avoid getting wedges as a side now as quite often some are undercooked because of the varying sizes. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, bit if it does, I hope the man who answered the phone answers again next time. So lovely. Good customer service!

The 25 mins it says on the website must be the time it takes to accept your order and send it out for delivery. Or maybe it’s the time from the app saying your pizza is on its way to when the app says it’s delivered? Or maybe it’s the time between when the app says it’s delivered to when you actually get it? Needless to say it wasn’t hot when I got it, the only saving grace is I prefer coke pizza to hot pizza.

Waited over an hour for the pizza! Called twice for an update and told there had been a mistake and fresh ones would be delivered. Eventually cold and inedible food arrived. Having spoken to the manger we were given details for a refund, as he promised that the service was unacceptable. Having contacted dominoes they have failed to give us a refund, as we should NOT have accepted the food. Clearly they expected us to try the food in front of the driver! A total waste of money and the HEAD of dominoes customer service being unhelpful and arrogant. Will definitely not be using this takeaway again and have now started using a local private takeaway. Disgraceful service from a company who in 2021 made £560m in the U.K. and disgraceful customer service from the “HEAD” of dominoes customer service.

They wouldn’t accept cash payment.. all I had was cash so I was refused service even though last time I checked, cash was legal tender. Absolute Disgrace.

Really positive experience every time we order. Consistent quality, delivery times and great service from the delivery drivers.

I ordered 4 large pizzas and got 2 pizzas (1 large & 1 small) extra for free. And also the polite conversation and help with the opening the door. It was a wonderful experience.

After being messed around by by dominos west. Dominos East saved the day and took my order of 38 pizzas. Helpful and friendly staff and couldn't recommend them enough.

1.99 saviour pizza advertised as 1.99 on website Again advertised . 1.99 in store but Insist on charging 2.99 .... no longer a saviour

Didn’t send the order lied about trying to deliver it saying they tried the back door we live in a flat we don’t even have a back door!! Tried to call not one missed call the customer service was shocking put they put phone down and didn’t solve the problem. Waited 2 hours for nothing! AVOID!!!!!! Wouldn’t even give one star.

I ordered pizza and a big dip. The driver dropped the dip in front of me and promised to bring another one. He still didn’t arrive and I called the store. The member of staff simply hung up on me when I asked him to hurry up. Totally unacceptable

My pizza was 90 mins late, website and email said it would be 25 mins. Why? They said they were understaffed (like all places used to relying on immigration to tolerate the terrible pay). But yayBrexit, we took our borders back! So now we have British that can't afford to tolerate the very low salary / poor conditions and we see mass understaffing. Who could ever have predicted this completely predictable turn of events? The solution? Dominos should pay their staff more. Cost of living goes up, pay should too. The profits for domino's and payments to the CEO are huge. Not enough money to pay staff properly? Why not cut back there and staff your stores? Also, pizza was flavourless and staff lovely, just some nice kids working in an awful situation. Completely above their pay grade to be in a situation where the website tells every customer 25-32 mins, they then have to field the calls and explain to each, "no it was never gonna be 25 mins, as we're really understaffed.". Also toppings are limited so can't get my favourite pizza. Unless you are vegan, all but 1 are just basically full meat, guess the onions/peppers that used to go on these pizzas were too expensive? Perhaps redistributing profits would solve this too? 🤔

Bland food, tasteless, very dry and wet base. My mums was also dry and we didn’t eat much. Complete waste of money

Ordered 3 pizzas and some chicken strips, was ready for us as we arrived to collect about 20 mins later, food was perfect, nice toppings and bread base as it should be, tasted great

Can't give it zero. 3 hrs for some food? Yes it's Friday. And that tracker is pointless if it says it's been delivered hours ago. Staff just shrug and say ring back if it doesn't come. Fantastic. 👏🤨

Good for collection deliveries a bit slow

Ordered with a Voucher and couldn’t use it against a deal so ordered two separate orders… my wife collected them and as we started to eat we realised they were slightly undercooked.. luckily we had made some sides to go with the pizzas as it was late we decided not to complain on the night and have wait for a resolution (suspected fresh order with a wait) and put the kids to bed.. Next day visited the store and brought to the managers attention the issue.. he was very understanding and promised to sort out the amount as a credit ready to re-order.. Accidents happen and it’s a first we’ve had anything wrong from here the attitude and helpfulness from the staff the next day was the difference between 1 star and 4!!

Twice now I have had to order from knaresborough road, Harrogate (love the Leeds road store, however not my closet store so not available for delivery). Pizza is over cooked on the top and burnt on the edges and so, so greesey on the bottom. I have given up with knaresborough road now. Will have to go and collect from the brilliant Leeds road branch instead.

Too busy? They switch off delivery mode... Take away pizza shop is turning off delivery option Just because its too busy.. Funny

when you order online it states 25 to 40 minute delivery time. it took an hour and 40 minutes. when it did arrive the pizza wasn't hot and the nachos were burnt in places. if this had been the first time I would put it down to them being busy and bad luck but this is the second time in a row now. they shouldn't take the orders if they can't manage them.

We waiting 2h still don't have my orders and they don't know what time is coming round 😮😮😮😤😤

The first time we ordered, it was quick and good so we ordered a second time. Well it must have been in the ‘prep’ stage for an hour. I called the shop, they apparently couldn’t find my order, so they put a manager on who first said it was on it’s way, then said the driver had just left. In the end, it took an hour and a half. Will be going back to our old regular pizza shop

Worst takeaway service I've had in the entire lockdown - and I order a takeaway every week. The online order status is interesting. Rang up after an hour to ask why my order status had not even progressed to the ovens. Was told they were busy, and it would be another 45 mins. But guess what? It suddenly progressed - pretty sure they'd just forgotten it. Anyway, it finally arrived - lukewarm. Come on! At least get yourself out of jail! But no. It's a fail. Movie & pizza night ruined.

We ordered a pizza a month ago.. it was out for delivery for over an hour.. so we phoned .. the delivery man didn't phone our contact number also.. we phoned and were told that his sat nav wasn't working. I phoned to say that it was stone cold... a lovely member of staff answered and said just heat that one up and next time that you order .. call and you can get the same order for free.. we phoned today and got hold of the nice lady who took our order the first time.. after a little whlie she remembered who we were and stated "that she forgot to put our free order on the notes" she and the first driver where very lovely and polite.. she eventually realised who we were and honoured the free pizza .. only again to have a really cold pizza .. wings and garlic bread delivered and this delivery man joked saying "well .. I'll know where you are for next time..." it's just ashame that this .. a free replacement meal.. was cold and had to be re heated... won't be ordering again ...

Really bad, within a 3 month period they first managed to completely get an order wrong putting tomato sauce on a custom pizza for a child with a reactive allergy. We have had pizza taking nearly 2 hours and the latest was a disaster. Chucked together and falling apart. Slices crossed over the top of others. Seemed odd as the ingredients were not on the lower slice suggesting that the pizza was cooked sliced and over crossing. Anyway, they have put us off take away pizza, we were being lazy anyway. So let’s start making our own instead.

Dominos refused to refund us for a pizza that their delivery driver dropped on the floor. Their customer service is appalling.

Do not order online in Harrogate. Pizza left outside on PUBLIC PAVEMENT WITH NO BOX UNDERNEATH. Not told to come outside so just left there. On the floor. For five minutes, came out discovered driver extremely smugly sat waiting. I would have not known if not for tracking page on website. Half my order missing, pizza left on floor, sent it back. Guess what, no refunds, will not send another pizza because " ...you argued...."Staff barely speak English, shout over you down the phone and try to keep your pizza and your money if anything goes wrong, will give you a made up email address to ask for refunds that doesn't exist, and won't give you their name over the phone, because they "aren't comfortable" ( IE don't want you using their name on the email to customer services)

Standard Dominos. Expensive unless you get a deal. 50% NHS discount at all Dominos if there's no in-house ones running at the time (show ID). Normally have good service here. Tends to be better earlier in the week than the later half as I think the staff change to some who are a bit tight with the toppings. Would recommend going Mon/Tues for best experience.

Absolute shambles, ordered over an hour and a half ago. Been told a pack of lies by the store. First my order had been delivered to the wrong address, then told the driver was on my doorstep, he wasn't. Story was changed to he was on my street and I should wait outside for him, waited outside for 5 minutes, no one showed up. They are now remaking the order, I am told it will be here in 20 minutes...

Terrible customer services. The food that was delivered was wrong and when I tried to ring up to complain I was told there was driver coming out to correct it, no one came. After hours of waiting and ringing back I was getting no answer. DON’T ORDER FROM HERE!!!!

The pizzas are better than previously, though delivery still seems to take an age, I live down the road, yes I know I could walk to pick it up but when it's raining and they offer delivery why should I... Have waited up to 2 hours for a delivery previously, by which time it's cold and he's already back in his car before you can tell him! But when all goes well, and you get a deal, the food is great and certainly makes a night in worth it.

Staff members are oblivious. Proper thickos saw them mess up every order whilst I waited for my pizza, Which was left on the side to go cold whilst the domino crew chatted and aimlessly stood around. £17 cold pizza top stuff.

Very let down by this branch after years of loyalty! Paid for two large pizzas to be delivered but the pizzas that arrived were medium (we measured!)When I called the store, the manager was very rude and insisted I was wrong as he had made the pizzas himself.

Telephone order gave 10min waiting time, so I ordered. On arrival, was told it would be another 45 mins! Whilst waiting, the time then increased to an hour. THen told new order would be 1 1/2 hours What a shambles. Go somewhere else. Never going back to this place, advise you don't either.

Harrogate East shop "forgot" to put one of our pizza in oven from an Internet order and last time tried to "forget" cola from order

Rude staff. Went in to collect and the member of staff that served us was plain rude and disinterested. When asked about the deals that were on he didnt really know and didnt really care. As someone that works in customer service I know everyone has bad days but part of the job is helping customers and I felt as though we were burdens to him. Pizza was okay nothing special, overpriced.

Not impressed with my order, arrived squished and looked like someone had a bite out of the pizza. The store then sent another pizza out which fair play. However the delivery driver arrived and is the only reason this isn't 1 star. He was so apologetic and I don’t believe it to be his fault. I think the new management of this dominos is poor and I certainly will not be ordering from here again

I love dominos. They have a deal on at the moment which is worth checking out. Always get the chicken and some sides. Well cooked and great time keeping

The food there was nice and I would recommend to anyone that pays whatever amount for a pizza there and trust me it's worth it.

Just picked up my order and all I can say is that I wouldnt feed my dog it!!! Absolutely shocking. The pizza was dry as hell, hardly any toppings and tasted like cardboard. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, GO ELSEWHERE

Haven't used Domino's for years and won't be in the near future. Over priced mediocre pizza . Hardly any topping on a mighty meaty pizza.

Ordered two margaritas, they arrived with no cheese on them and partially burnt...truly terrible!

The pizzas showed up cold and one was clearly not made correctly. When I called they dismissed my complaint. The only offer was to make a new one and have to wait another 45 min which we did not accept.

Food was nice. As always. Loved it. Bit concerned by the (I assume) manager constantly walking around with the next persona pizza dough in her hand - I feel that needs to stay in the food area and not wandered around the building.

Yet to have a Pizza deliver on time, usually 30-40mins late. I’ve also been in to order and the staff ignore you with several of them just stood in the back room chatting. Waited at the counter 10mins before they took my order.
