Domino's Pizza in Harrogate

pizza didn't arrive. called dominoes they assured me it was coming (even though that robot thing said delivered). definitely they were just trying to get me off the phone. waited 10 minutes still nothing so I called back. asked to speak to the manager, can't remember his name but he was not helpful, I gave him my address and order number and he said it had been delivered, repeated the address to me which was the wrong one! I said no and repeated my address, but he said that address isn't on their system. he said he would call back in 15 mins for some reason which i couldnt hear properly (and unsurprisingly he never called back). I managed to order online with my correct address so how can that be true that its not on the system? I went to the address he mentioned which luckily was only a street away and my pizza was there cold on the doorstep.. the address systems NEEDS updating! awful experience and staff were so unhelpful.

Made a large order worth over £140 to a business in Harrogate. The pizzas were cold and full of bubbles, they skimped us of 3 of our 4 portions of chicken, and the chocolate cinnamon balls had no chocolate on them. It was just sugary bread, which isn't all that nice. If you can help it, get your orders from the dominos on knaresborough road. Or just go to pizza hut and get actually hot food.

I knock off stars for anything that's objectively bad and isn't inline with my expected experience. This is a Domino's in England, so I'm not expecting the red carpet or even a smile, but I was pleasantly surprised with the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff. I ordered a pizza through the website on Friday night, pretty early. I went to collect it at the stated time and the staff member that greeted me was courteous and had a big smile on his face! He welcomed me into the shop with a loud 'Hello! How can I help?' and grabbed me my pizza ASAP and wished me well. The pick up was on time, the guy was friendly and I got what I paid for. The jovial and bright reception I received prompted me to write this review, as I don't bother writing reviews about fast food joints, usually!

Went into dominoes today and was delighted by the in store offer available. Harit had served me and service was outstanding! Helped me with questions I had about the menu and was so friendly. Would recommend this dominoes to anyone hungry! Thanks ☺️

Tbh, it's a domonios - I don't expect the best service which most the comments talk about. But my food always comes in the expected time and they've never got an order wrong. Is that because I collect? I dunno, but that might be why it works for me Yeah, the guys could do a bit more communication and be faster, but you try working in that tight space when it's busy (not worked for dominos but have done fast food)

Needed to order 16 large pizzas for early pick up and so called and spoke with Harit who couldn't have been more helpful. He arranged everything so all I had to do was collect the following morning. Everything was freshly cooked, ready on time, and the team really enjoyed having Dominos for lunch. Thank you Harit and Team, it was great :)

Forgot to order a dip and then wouldn’t let me order one even though I was just outside the store because they have closed their system. I order from here on a weekly basis. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Should be ashamed. I have put up with cold food, smashed up delivery from pizzas and now they can’t give me a dip I’m offering to pay for. Will not ever be coming back

Went into store to order food as wanted to pay by cash staff stood around talking no one greeting any customer and when said I wanted to pay cash they said they couldn’t help and only accept card payment

Ordered at h 6:30 estimed time fir collection 17-22 mins. Went to store at 6:55 to be told it would be another 30 mins. Food finally ready at 7:25. I understand that place was busy but this should have been reflected on the app when ordering.

Just don’t order from here. Go to the other Harrogate store. They are useless on a Friday or Saturday night. As others say, they just can’t handle demand but the issue is they don’t communicate. 8 people waiting for pizzas tonight and they hide in the back. No one is managing it. So you have to wait until they maybe bring it. None of them can talk to you for some reason if you ask them for an update they say sorry and scurry to the back. Useless.

All round great experience. Pizza was amazing! Definitely the best dominoes in Harrogate. Collected and was ready on time.

Longest 9 - 14 minutes of my life: the app said the pizza would take this time, however it was over 45 mins of waiting with 3 children at home waiting up past their bedtime for very average pizza. There were a number of other people waiting experiencing the same issue - all frustrated and all complaining. The staff didn’t seem to care and watching them make the pizza was utterly depressing and worrying (especially for those with an allergy / a dietary requirement). 1 word - Avoid This Place Like The Plague (oh gosh, that’s over 5 times as long as what I said it would be…touché).

DO NOT USE !!!!! Sent 11 inch pizza instead of 13.5 Manager rude and refused to resend, 3 hungry kids had had a slice before I noticed and said sorry our policy is returning the full pizza or nothing ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING

Ordered from here because it’s domino’s right? Food was fast but we both felt sick afterwards. Must have been something dodgy in the food. Not worth it for the £15.5 I spent on one pizza. Plus it looked smaller than it should have been I ordered a 13.5 inch. Also was outside shop for 10 minutes and in that time the delivery driver got honked at 2 times because he was backing into people without looking.

Paid online for my Pizza. When I arrived there to collect it, the guy asked me to pay. I told him I already paid, but he told me I haven't paid. I told him I got notification that I paid, then he said it is paid. Guess if I don't have a proof. Went home and I checked the Pizza box because I saw him looking at the box before he asked me I have to pay. I thought there is some instruction on the box for me to pay on the collection, but Pizza box said 'paid'. I don't understand why. Is this because I don't speak English well?

The manager berated staff in front of customers and argued with customers when changed. The staff where obviously doing there best but the manager was very unhelpful.

Ordered a pizza and when it arrived it was a mess and all the toppings had gone to one side. Called p to ask for a replacement pizza and a refund as they have honoured this in the past. Manager was rude to me on the phone and said he is too busy ether give a refund or a replacement and hurry about it. I asked for a refund and it never came. I then had to contact the main Dominos customer service and ask for a refund. They refunded the pizza but no the delivery charge! They also offered me a free pizza but then have gone quiet on me about this. Possibly the worst experience of customer service. Do not order from here.

Ordered late at night around 20:45. Went to pick up pizza, got home around 09:30 as live rural 30min drive. Pizza was so overdone and dry it was inedible. Contacted customer service the next day online to request a refund to be told that they couldn’t offer any compensation as I didn’t call the store at almost 10’oclock to complain. Never heard such rubbish in my life as followed complaints procedure online and was not going to drive another 1 hour at 10 o’clock to pick up another pizza. Even had the audacity to say they hope it doesn’t deter me from ordering again. Will be going to a local independently place next time for sure.

This Was An Shocking Experience!!!! I Ordered A Pepperoni Passion With Peppers And Chicken Expecting It To Come With The Peppers And Chicken. But I Opened The Box To Find No Peppers No Chicken And Just A Depresing Looking Pizza With Burnt Pepperoni's. Took A Bite And The Pepperono's Were Burnt Too Spicy. While The Dough Tasted Like The Box That It Came In. Cheese Was Dry. These Employes Must Be Stupid! Ended Up Leaving The Pizza On The Side Of The Kitchen Counter In Despair That They Got A Simple Order Wrong! Ended Up Getting Papa Johns Which Was Alright I Guess. Worst Night For Pizza Ever Wouldn't Recomend This At All. Maybe Go To Better Chains Like Pizza Hut Or Papa John's.

Shocking experience! The ‘manager’ spoke to us like we were dirt on their shoe. We called as soon as we ordered online as the online ordering would not let us order gluten free so we called to change it to a gluten free base, we offered to pay the extra to what it was. We waited 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone and then was repeatedly shouted at by the man on the phone… I have never been spoken to so badly! I am disgusted about the abuse we received from this man.

Probably the best Dominos in the UK, fresh, quick delivery, Great quality.

Ordered food form them and once the driver arrived he was calling me while driving down the road asking me to come out of the house to meet him. Just knock on the door or ring the bell... Don't use your phone and drive and also expect me to meet you to get the food, it's a delivery service for a reason, delivers to your door. Furthermore the order wasn't complete and was missing the drinks, called them to ask where it is and how they are gonna repay me and they never picked up the phone, just left it to ring. Truly useless.

I get the impression the franchise changes quite often and it does seem to vary between better than average to excellent.

Wouldn't recommend this food to anyone . This takeaway has given me explosive diarrhea , I have been on and off the toilet the past 24hr hours . My body is in a permanent state of discomfort .

Good pizza. Like all Dominos, it seems expensive if you don't have a discount deal/code. Offers NHS discount (50% off). Topping quantity can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes a good/adequate amount. Unfortunately sometimes also too few. I think it depends which staff member makes it. IMO, and I'm sure you'll agree, for the price of a few extra toppings you should always get a good covering as it really makes the difference between a lame pizza and a decent one.

On Christmas eve I ordered for Deals buy one get one free £18.99 one vegi supreme was tasty and another one New, The Beef Doner, which was the beef doner pizza very SALTY and we couldn't eat even a pice of the pizza because the SALT was allover the food, so overall I'm not happy with the buy one get one free deal Finally I paid £18.99 for anly one pizza

Sadly they are a victim of their own success, esp. at weekends. For 3 times in a row, I have ordered pizza an hour in advance for collection, But had to wait extra 30 mins in the cold, as they are too busy. Complete chaos inside. Not well run. They shouldn’t accept orders if they know they can’t make them in time requested. Pizza tasty though.

absolutely terrible service. guy behind the till was useless and unhelpful, lost my patience even trying to order a pizza and went next door to wings to get a chinese. been looking forward to trying a large donner pizza too.. still im probably £40 better off!

Horrendous. Lied about NHS discount on their website and literally said 'tough, pay full price' when I rang back. Disgusting.

Have been ordering deliveries from this Domino's for 10+ years now, as well as occasionally collecting a pizza. Without fail the customer service is excellent, as well as fabulous and tasty pizza too. Keep the good work up guys!

Quite sunday order and still have the toppings missed off , barely any cheese. The cheese rolls where just bread. The franchises are being run like all the other pizza shops around. Not worth the money.

Can’t see the point in pre ordering on the web / app when you still have to stand for 10 minutes inside the lobby of the store. People were walking out as they were not being served, phone ringing constantly and not being answered. It like the 15 staff aren’t enough?! As ever though the pizzas are tasty and good value if you search for a deal.

I ordered from the counter, gentleman was very pleasant and friendly, I ordered a small pizza and he went out his way to tell me I could get the large and a bottle of drink for the same price, I’ve just ate the pizza and I thoroughly enjoyed, I’m going to give you the 5 stars for not ripping me off. Had pizza on weekend but as well as Over priced and hardly any cheese on the pizza late delivery 1 hour 20 mins guess what pizza was freezing cold

Waited over an hour just for 2, 7 inch pizzas. The fact that I a mate had got the same exact thing 30 mins before me and I ordered 10 mins before him, and that I was told it would take 10 mins, 3 times. I demanded for a full refund (which was £4) and they refused to.

Brilliant quality food and quick service, however there is very little waiting room meaning when its busy it gets very cramped.

Chips were cold piza didnt have enough toping

2 stars because the gentleman took our order before he closed. The product itself was as awful as always - all dough. We got these as it was the option other than eating my own arm - which may have been a better flavour.

This place is under new management. BEWARE. Tried to charge me £10 for 2 500ml bottles of Coke. A clear con. I personally wouldn't set foot in the place if it was the last restaurant in Harrogate. The food wasn't great under the previous regime but at least they didnt try and rip you off.

Just come back from dominos after getting pizzas on their new management deal. never seen dominos so busy, it would have been understandable for the staff to be flustered or stressed but they weren't. they were so positive and up beat and the customer service was excellent. Cannot fault, hats off to you all!

I have ordered pizzas to collect from this establishment a few times and have ALWAYS had to wait well past the quoted collection time. Once half an hour. Considering the price the service should be better.

We ordered our pizza on the phone which took about 30 mins before someone picked up the phone. We picked up our pizza after a long wait and when we got home It was not the one we ordered. This is not the first time we have had a wrong pizza from them but this time the frustration was them not picking up the phone so we could get this corrected, we were ringing with two mobiles for over half an hour and no one was picking up. We ended up eating the pizza cos we were starving. So Annoyed. Not good costumers service so be worned they cannot answer the phone.

I would have given it 3 stars because although the food was nice, the order was slightly wrong. However, after I called to tell them about the problem the staff were very helpful and understanding. I went back and the service was perfect.

When ordering pizza by phone you cannot hear what they say - its a race to get the words out. When I call I usually get put hold so they can serve someone else - that's just rude. When they say 20 - 30 minutes get there in 15, the amount of times I have got there in 20 minutes and found that the pizza has been sat waiting for me. When I order a pizza, I get them to read the order back - the amount of times the order is wrong is beyond me. When they eventually get it all right, the pizza is good, not amazing but good.

Ordered last Saturday. Never arrived yet was charged double!!We were down £50 for nearly a week. Store unhelpful so had to spend £20 in phonecalls to the care team to get money back. Oh, and ignore tracker...it’s fake. Said delivered yet store was shut! Now ignoring my pleas to reimburse phone calls.

Yet again the driver got lost. Luke warm pizza and very unhelpful staff at the shop. Will find a new pizza place as had enough for of the dreadful service at Harrogate a West.

Ordered 4 pizzas at 12pm - tracked at 1pm said out for delivery. 10 minutes later I got a call to say they were running late and would be with us by 1.30pm if we still wanted them.

Once again, this brach of Domino's provided an excellent service from start to finish. Ordered late night pizzas online whilst staying in the area, delivery was fast, efficient, and the food was superb. Wish they had an outlet in my town, the only chance I get to use Domino's is whilst I am staying away.

Bring the wrong food more times than they bring the right food, then their solution is to make you wait again for them to bring the right food rather than giving a refund. Food takes over an hour everytime you order and is guaranteed to turn up cold, and I'd be surprised if the driver can find your house. All in all, don't bother.

Absolute rubbish pizza. Get a proper Italian one. Also a firm that doesn't drown harrogate in their horrible leaflets.

How may junk mail flyers do you clowns need to post. Just buy a decent frozen pizza and save 20 quid, it's just the same.

Ordered a couple of pizzas online whilst staying over in Harrogate recently. Very easy to use website, including the choice of offers, particularly liked the detail of keeping you up to date with the order. Preparing, in oven, quality check, on the road. A nice touch. Delivery was very fast, service was excellent, driver was friendly, but most of all, the pizzas were superb. Very hot, well cooked, really delicious. Will certainly use this branch again when staying over in Harrogate.

Very poor customer service, after being asked to come back 1hr30mins later to collect order, upon returning at suggested time, they had given our order to someone else, I asked if they wanted to confirm order, they were confident they had the details and remade order as I waited, on receipt of order I noticed that they must have missed heard the order, missing a pizza with an extra topping on another, I was willing to pay for extra pizza to correct order, but they refused to correct order claiming the friend I was visiting always complains and they had a note on system that she always complains. Maybe this is because they are incompetent, I have reported this to head office, I got a nice email from customer services manager letting me know the staff will be retrained in customer service, and I would hear from area manager, Still waiting to hear from area manager a month later. Avoid this place if you can.

This dominos is rubbish and I recomend that it is not used, we orderd at about 19:00 hours and we were only told at 22:00 that are pizzas could not come. Don't use this dominos!

Ordered a pizza at 7.20pm on 1st March, and was told it would be half an hour, arrived at 8.30 and was cold, so sent it back. Avoid this takeaway!!!!

Waited two hours for a delivery; they blamed it on traffic. Despite numerous phone calls and assurances it was in the car on its way the delivery never showed up. In the end we went and collected the pizzas since we'd already paid. Won't be rushing back
