food ok but 2 young girls being stared & winked at by the 30+ 'man' behind the counter as they waited for food NOT ok - no they wern't 'provocatively' dressed, in case you're the type who think that 'excuses' it - just two 16yr kids wanting to order food at tea-time without being creeped out & made to feel like prey - why can't girls, or women, go into a take-away without this sh*te? Imagine if this crap happened to boys - or men...

Just had a mixed naan, I got 4 tiny pieces of chicken, a couple of pieces of Donner meat no chips which it says it comes and got served on a tortilla wrap not naan, got charged more than the menu said £9 not worth it!!

Poor service, long wait (wasn't even busy), struggle to get what was asked for. One kebab cold by the time second was prepared. Food just about edible

Shocking, items were missing, and the items that did come were so horribly burned no one could even eat them. Vile.

Ordered a certain pizza but after waiting half an hour received a different pizza so I complained (which I really hate to do) waited another twenty minutes or so and got a new pizza that again wasn’t what I had ordered!! Couldn’t be bothered to wait again to play pizza roulette 😂so walked out with the wrong pizza absolute joke! It wasn’t even busy so I don’t really understand how they made it wrong twice!

Mushroom and chicken pizza gave me severe food poisoning, whatever food safety standards are there need to be checked and double checked.

Had Chicken Meat (Shish) and Chips tonight from this place, chips were just normal frozen ones, but chicken soon as I finished it I had a stomach ache and felt sick, I was feeling very sick after eating the meal, usually when I order chicken shish I never have this issue. Hygiene wasn't best and menu isn't of best variety, but can tell the shop uses cheap and old meat/ingredients.

As far as I know this establishment has been very recently renovated, I can see they've kept the same name and a similar layout inside but I don't believe the past reviews are acceptable to it currently. I was with my girlfriend last night for an anniversary-date-night combo, we left it a little late to get food and found ourselves struggling to get sat down anywhere after 9.30PM, of course we could've got Mcdonalds or Spoons but not ideal, been there too many times. Anyway this is one of the only places we could find easily still open with collection available, could've got loads delivered but wanted to pick it up for the "authenticity". Anyways we got there and I let them know I was here for a collection, they seemed surprised and handled it as if it was their first. Took a couple minutes but who I'm assuming was the owner came, apologised for our short wait and offered us a couple of free drinks, nothing crazy but a very nice gesture that was unexpected. We ordered 2 pizzas and some cheesy chips. Pizzas were 8.50, but it was B1G1F, so got 2 for 8.50 and cheesy chips for another 3-4 quid or so, great portion sizes and food was actually nice, definitely worth a chance, despite the history of negative reviews.

Pizza and chips what could possibly go wrong? Chips were normal bland fries £3.00! Medium spicy pizza £8.95! Absolutely shocking plastic cheese which was disgusting jalapenos just scattered over the top very doughy totally bland avoid at all costs! And to cap it off an owner with attitude.

Horrible service. Had a great night out until decided to come to this chippy. Staff member was very rude, ignored my order and completely dismissed me. Left to Subway opposite street.

A crusty donner and chicken kebab. The garlic sauce is very garlicky if you're into that, but London road is just around the corner if you want something cheaper and nicer.

I got a mixed doner with garlic sauce ( large) . Huge amount of food - tasty , too ! For a quick bit , to help with the alcohol, I would say it is an ok place.

Terrible - had a large mixed kebab, no pitta bread, just a hard dry wrap, chicken was a piece of fried chicken, doner meat was just OK, no salad either & loads of chips underneath meat

Open late when most are closed. Great pizza and set a 2nd pizza for only £2 more.

Honestly one of the best Chicken burgers I ever ate, makes KFC look like total novices at making a spicy chicken burger, always fast delivery, hot food and all the delivery drivers have been super friendly, so many times you get drivers that look like they hate you just for saying hi :D, love this place

Ordered two pizza,s via just eat on our recent stay in Sheffield , despite being less than half a mile away from our hotel they took over an hour and a half to arrive , the driver was quite unfriendly . Taking the pizzas back to our rooms we had one piece of each , the rest went in the bin , definately not worth the wait

Sinceramente, una de las mejores pizzas para llevar en Sheffield. Y tan barato. Solo consigue una margarita y listo. Notaré que no obtengo nada más de allí (pollo / hamburguesas), porque no son tan buenos. Pero no puedo pensar en una mejor pizzería tbh y hemos comido mucho.

Absolutely revolting rockhard kebab chicken absolutely reeks of fish grey colour inside honestly I was starving and I would of rather waited until the morning to wat absolutely disgusted how they get away with that disgusting food. Took about 2 bites rang him up and spoke to the guy claims they buy their chicken frozen well this is getting packed and sent to council or trading standards because I can 100% assure that the chicken meat is out actually made me wretch.

Nonchalantly passed me the chips my girlfriend had ordered without even speaking to her, even at the time of ordering. Terrible customer service. Go elsewhere.

Got a half pound beef burger and a quarter cheese burger, it came and the beef burger had cheese on. Rang them and they said that both beef and cheese burger have cheese on. I'm lucky I just don't like cheese instead of having allergies or something

I called to confirm my order and was met by an incredibly rude member of staff, he raised his voice at me for simply calling for confirmation, as I was aware they were closing soon and just wanted to know if my order was being prepared/on its way. I was nothing but polite, asking a simple question and was met with incredible hostility! Perhaps I missed something here? But I don’t believe such a response was warranted

OK so I just ordered from here. Was delivered before time stated and food was OK but its losing a few stars just for the attitude and disrespect of the delivery driver. I ordered food for delivery so I don't understand why the driver pulls up two doors down the road and sits in his car expecting me to go to him leaving my children alone to do this. When he finally figures I wo t be going to him he comes to the door and tries to be argumentative saying I should have gone to him, he can't park on my front yet he was parked there expecting me to come to him so why not just run out with the food that he is paid to do. I explained I have children in the house including a 1 year old that I can't leave alone and he still tries to be argumentative absolute disgrace. If you can't get a driver that can deliver food to people's doors and show respect to people, especially since people pay for the food he's delivering then you shouldn't be offering a delivery service at all. If people wanted to run half way down the road to collect their food they may aswel have ordered to collect!!

Worst pizza I've seen in a while

Absolutely atrocious! Possibly the most disprespectful, delivery driver I have ever had the pleasure of receiving food off. Refused to deliver my food to my house for 20 minutes and asked to meet him on a different road but I couldn’t leave my house so didn’t, eventually turned up, was rude from the offset, straight away shouted saying I have to meet him elsewhere which I tried to explain but he didn’t care anyone who would think of ordering from here I highly recommend them not to.

The food is terrible and the staff are rude, Just go to Sainsburys and buy a microwave meal.

Ok so besides the price been totally expensive the food was not even worth the expense. The chicken smells like gone off fish. The girl mayo is sickly. The donner was awful. I would never ever ever order from here again even if all the takeaways in sheffield was closed and i was drunk as a skunk. I would definitely not recommend this place!!!!!!!!

Chicken smelt like tuna..... Only noticed after a couple of bites. We complained, staff didn't care and slapped a fiver back on the counter. Very bad food poisoning the day after.

Visited Merdocs to take advantage of the 241 pizza offer. Only offered one size pizza. When received the pizza it was small and like a microwaved one and didn't receive a second one as advertised. When I challenged this the staff member was extremely aggressive and told me the offer wasn't available at weekends although it was advertised and was a Friday night. Massively overpriced and the cheese wasn't even melted onto the chips which were cold. Wish I had gone elsewhere for food. Never again.

Well I asked for a mixed kebab...didn't get it ...got enough to feed the 5000...thenmy mates got overcharged by £6.79 also the mayonnaise tasted spermy and the kebab tasted like Dj oil rubberys kebab balls (according to Iz) my kebab was vomited on by a member of staff which actually improved the flavour but we were then asked to clean his sick with paper towels (see photo attached) WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING

This is not even worth a 1 star. Absolutely disgusted with this customer service. Have order about 2 hours ago and rang two times asking how long it will be and they said both times that it's on its way. Rang again and they said that the driver went home because we had the wrong details on just eat when we was waiting outside from the first time they told us they were on the way. They said it was our fault and there's nothing they can do, absolutely disgusting as we have waiting over 2 hours for food that didn't even arrive !!!!!!

Dry kebab meat served with a handful of dull salad on a supermarket flat wrap that hadn't been warmed/softened. Like eating a cardboard sandwich still in the box.

Quick and easy and far better than the majority of the local competition - I happily eat these kebabs sober which is always a good sign. Only negative? Portions could be bigger...

I was starving after a long nights work and a late finish so I searched for a takeaway on line that was still open. With much joy I found Merdoc's so I ordered my food, paid for it and received confirmation that everything had been processed. I gave them 20 minutes after my allotted delivery time,because it is a Saturday and I know it could be busy. Anyway after 1 hour and 40 minutes I gave them a call only to discover that they are closed. So now I out of pocket and still very hungry!

Nothing great or bad about Merdocs. If you like a greasy kebab or a pizza - then this is perfect. I would recommend the pepperoni pizza - especially after 7 pints. :)

After a gap of many years I visited Merdocs Kebab house on Devonshire Street a few weeks ago. In my younger days this was a regular haunt after a skinfull of lager round town with friends. In those days its highlight (for me ) was the donner kebab made with real chunks of lamb. To my disappointment this is now a distant memory and has been replaced by a very ordinary composite type donner which wasn't very nice, 2 stars only then and these were for the chilli sauce which was good.

No longer its decent proper lamb breast or sholder pressed together. Simple donner meat loads of slop formula , late night nonsense. With hard of hearing staff. A tad leary to boot

Still one of the best kebab places in Sheffield with proper lamb meat and a nice bit of garlic sauce always makes a nice kebab

THE kebab shop! Their small lamb kebab is a work of genius-desirable on the sober head too! That's how good it is!

Very good lamb kebab, real shoulder meat style donner, with out been a fancy cubed meat student bab. Good chilli sause, let down on the rubbish salad
