Domino's Pizza in Sheffield

Getting fed up with Domino’s sending out pizza or cinni dippers or anything that should come with a sauce when they don’t bother to include them. Not once, but repeatedly doing it. Drivers don’t want to go back for that.

A small but friendly store. Food was excellent

I have been ordering from this dominos for years now. About 3-4 months ago I ordered a few pizzas. One pizza had toppings and cheese that had kind of slid off the pizza which wasn't an issue at the time I understand that sometimes things like this happen. I rang up and the person I spoke with said that they had put my details into the system so that I could ring up again anytime and claim a pizza, free of charge due to the pizza that I had ordered being completely wrecked. I have ordered from this same dominos since, and today I remembered that I hadn't claimed the pizza yet. I rang up to redeem the pizza and the manager said that there was nothing on the system regarding a free pizza. Furthermore, she said that notes on the system do not expire, but the note of my details regarding the free pizza was not on there, therefore she had already come to the conclusion that I was lying perhaps. She never outright said that she thought I was lying, but her tone was very passive aggressive, implying that she was thinking I was ringing up 'pretending' that I was owed a free pizza and she didn't offer a solution, she was moaning that 'normal people often redeem their free pizza much sooner, like the next week when they order', but they shouldn't expect me as a customer to order the next week and I was told that my free pizza was redeemable anytime when I rang up 3-4 months ago. Probably will never order again from this place, unfortunate as the delivery drivers are always friendly, it's a shame that the manager does not know how to speak to customers. Image of the pizza from 3-4 months ago attached, maybe they believe me now or maybe I'm lying again, maybe I got the image from a google search. EDIT: Ordered twice since my last review, pizza was top quality and the chicken wings, especially the bbq ones, were really hot and there was lots of sauce on them. I will increase my rating from one star to three as the food is good, however I will not go any higher due to the rude manager I spoke with.

I regularly use this store. The food is always fantastic really good but this may sound petty I order bbq big pots with my food and they more often than not bring garlic and herb on a regular basis all the time. It drives me insane they always make the same mistake. Then you have to wait for them to redeliver correct sauces. If they got this right it would be 5 star but they’ve done it for years. Thanks

Great new manager there she sorting job out good on point with my last order think the name Louise we had a fault with the first order and then basically sorted job with proper food

Made the pizza wrong twice and were rude when we returned the first one that was wrong.

Got my pizza wrong twice. Walked in and an employee was rude for no reason when I wasn’t arguing about it and just wanted it to be fixed. Not happy!!!!!!

Big patch of missing cheese on my extra cheese pizza? Wrong sauce sent. Clearly had run out of wedges, so it had been replaced with undercooked Asda frozen chips. Complained, and they didn't even get the replacement correct. How?? Really disappointed when ordering from here.

Gluten free pizza base was uncooked ...soggy ...loads of uncooked tomato paste ..and small amount of vegan cheese ...not really edible

Very nice pizza, delivery was fast, delivery driver was very friendly.

Ordered food for delivery, food was ten minutes late, delivery driver had me walking all way across car park ( IN THE RAIN) to get my food, which then ended up cold and not nice, opened my wedges to see they hadn’t been cooked properly and were fairly hard in the middle, pizza was cold. Also sent my wrong drink. Called store to ask if anything can be done, no replacement food as my home is out of there ‘radius’ don’t order from here unless you want to wake up with a bad stomach day after and don’t call the store because you will get rude staff members

Hit and miss with this one. Most of the time, the pizza is cooked to perfection, and then occasionally, the pizza is dry, which will be down to human error of not putting enough sauce on.

Good pizza. Great customer service after a slight issue with our order (our fault) and they went out of their way to rectify. Much appreciated. Very pleased with order here thank you!

Quite simply the worst Dominoes in the entire universe. Had the displeasure of trying to get food from here several times. It’s a franchise ran by someone who clearly doesn’t actually care about delivering food in a timely fashion. Do not order from here, ever, it’s simply Terrible.

So I decided to preorder a couple of pizzas to be delivered at 2045/2100, as I coach my daughters footie team and training ends 2030 so Ideal time for delivery, but when it turns up at 2030 15/30 mins (why give me a choice) lucky my wife decided to stay home and was there to take in the pizzas ( heaven knows what the driver would have done with them if she had not been there).So then I open the first box and what I saw was a total mess (see pic). When you are spending nearly £30 (should've been £55) you expect it to look and resemble a pizza not like it had been chucked at a wall. And because it was early it was just barely warm. Not good experience,

Never had an issue here. Tasty pizza and usually quick service. Good delivery drivers.

Won't accept cash, never use companies that refuse to accept cash.

What a joke ordered my pizza and said I would be be back in 10 mins, came back told them my name and waited another 20 mins all the while it was sat there ,as they was all taking about what they did last night

Second time on bounce now pizza has come wrong. Took over an hour to be delivered and I only live not even 10 mins away

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE took my money and then said they can’t deliver as there system is not working correctly , 4-5 days refund , manage is about 17 what hasn’t a clue and didn’t give me any answers needed , also told me on phone about a one day only deal then said it’s not on , I only want to order a pizza never known anything like it

Don’t order from this company. Once they have your number they spam you endlessly. Like many others online I have tried blocking them, tried unsubscribing though I never subscribed . 100% I will NEVER use this very very average company again . I’ve reported their illegal activity. Disgusting

I very rarely order pizza from here these days, as they’re quite expensive, but there was a deal and I splashed out a little. I ordered a Ben and Jerry’s with my pizza order and when the delivery driver appeared there was no sign of the ice cream with the order. I asked him if he had it and even showed the order receipt, to which he replied “oh, I didn’t know what that was.” I’m then thinking, “then why didn’t you ask someone…it’s on the order, it’s clearly something the customer has paid for, why not ask about it? Take some initiative.” Now, I’m not a complainer, I rarely if ever complain or phone up about stuff like this, because I know that thee kind of jobs can be awful and I don’t want to be the reason the job is worse. However, on this occasion I did ring up and ask if someone was going to bring the ice cream round to me, as the driver had not been clear if he would. The first person on the phone acted as though she’d never heard of Ben and Jerry’s before in her life and then when I gave my address she behaved like I’d said it in French. She got another staff member who seemed a bit more like a functioning human and I then repeated the problem and he said that someone would bring the missing ice cream round. Needless to say, this didn’t happen. Therefore, I have paid for a Ben and Jerry’s phish food ice cream that I did not receive. This is the second time something has been missing from my order, because some of the staff appear to have no initiative.

Order took 50 minutes to be delivered after receiving a text to say order was out for delivery. Needless to say that the food was cold. Pretty unacceptable, especially considering the £1.99 delivery charge. Requested a refund.

Would give no stars if it let me. What the hell has happened to this branch. Got a txt to say delivery on way. Hour later got a email tip driver. Phoned store no anwser. 3 calls later. Disinterested lady anwsered phone and said yeh it's on way. I asked if she at least wanted to take my order number and confirm. (Peter Kay moment or whatl. Told me no order coming up. I said you have taken my money she then asked addresses. Then said oh yeh we have that order has he not arrived yet. Hour later cash taken and no food. Complete con and I want my money back. Do not order.

Usually good for timing but it's taking over an hour to get food tried calling and compling but they put phone dawn really don't understand haw come it's taking so long

Rude staff and always something wrong with order

Ordered at 19.10 and it’s now 21.30. Rung Storr several times no answer. Guest had to go home without any food. So embarrassing I’ve no words to express my anger.

Annoyed! They lied about when it left the store and marked it as delivered on the tracking so I spent 10 minutes outside looking for my food.. then I rang the store and wasted another 10 minutes just to find out it had only just been loaded in the van. The worst thing you can do to your customers is lie! And to cap it off? Charged for a 1.25 Litre bottle, sent 500ml! Not the first time they’ve lied or messed up, but definitely the last time I’ll be ordering. You just lost a very loyal customer. Pizza Hut or Papa John’s next time!

Ordered food at 6.40, told 40 mins and by 7.50 still no food, had text to say it left store at 7.30 so called back to be told they didn't know what had happened and some more would be on way ASAP.. food arrived at 8 40 cold, all had to be microwaved.. the driver was rude and just about threw the food at us saying house number and walked off... won't be using again

Don't know what's happened to this store but they don't seem to be able to read orders. The last 3 times something is either missing or wrong. When you call to sort it they promise it will be but it never turns up. Once you've called its hard to get back through. The only time we actually got the correction was when I threatened to go and fetch it and said I had COVID (I did). It turned up 15 minutes later!

Service Absolutely disgusting , been told 30-40 minutes but cold pizza was delivered over an hour and half , also got my order wrong !

Never book online with these absolute idiots... they don’t have a clue what the hell they are doing. I ordered a pizza a couple of weeks back now, and after 1 hour and 45 minutes I chucked the towel in and cancelled my order, We we’re past starving!!! I contacted the Chapeltown branch and spoke to a girl called Freya... she could not give me a direct answer and it seemed like it could be another week before I received my pizza... ive now been trying to get my money back for over three weeks and it’s impossible!!! I eventually got to speak to the buffoon of a manager, I really do not know how this fool gets out of his bed in a morning.. this was after leaving over 5 failed messages with none other than Freya!! Still not been refunded....they’re a joke. They need a proper manager down there.

That last 2 orders thst I have made have both been left outside on the floor in front of the, no text or phone call saying that they were outside, just dumped it. The last one, I even waited at the door when I got the text that my delivery driver had departed, and it was still dumped outside.

Waited over an hour for the supposed delivery driver to bring the food. kept claiming her was lost and had tried to call but yet had the phone never rang 🤔🤔🤔 even walked up to the main road to help and still didn't appear. finally gave up and went to collect where the so called driver was there and still had the most awkward conversation stating that he tried to find us but when questioned over it couldn't provide an answer. apparently gave us some free chicken wings (even though half of our order was vegetarian) but failed to send the garlic bread we actually ordered so it wasn't really a goodwill gesture!

When you order 2 pizzas and ask for no mushrooms, and then you pick up your order and both pizzas have mushrooms on them, that's a total fail for me. What if I had a nut allergy, would they put peanuts on my order. Very disappointed!

Order 2 simple pizzas for husband's 50th (stay at home, party for 2). One pizza & one wedges delivered!! Delivery driver said he would phone in the error and get it sorted. An hour and a half later we give up waiting and phone the shop to be met with appalling customer service. No acknowledgment of the issue, told one thing then told another. We wanted a refund and told it would be 2 or 3 days. Staff wouldn't give their name as reference for when we, no doubt, had to chase the refund.

They we're busy and forgot my on line order. But they covered it well and only had to wait 20 mins extra! 🤣

I always got the impression that Domino’s pizza was overrated. It is. Ordering was easy. Delivery came on time more or less. Delivery driver adhered to social distancing. Great. Opened the pizza - terrible. Dry. Cold. Tasteless. Should have stuck to local independent places.

Ordered a pizza online, took the money but no order through to the store, happy enough to take money in the first place but very reluctant to give it back as we did not even get the order. Was told refund would take 72 hours I am now at 216 hours later and still no refund. Staff in the store are rude and unhelpful, wonder how they are still in business with the staff they have.

Good luck if they get your order right and aren't rude and unhelpful about it when you tell them. Do yourself a favour and order from anywhere else.

Ordered online twice! To pick up in store and both times was charged but they told me the order had not come through even though i showed them my bank account. They refused to give me any pizza. So i have paid £70 for no pizzas at all! Girl at the till was rude and could not care less. Walked away my pocket £70 lighter and no pizza

Nice pizzas and probably biggest rival to pizza hut but personally I prefer the hut as do my kids but that's just down to personal preference.

Had to wait over an hour and when my order arrived the BBQ source on the pizza had dried into the pizza and same with the garlic bread as well very poor and they do nothing about it

Far better service than other local branches. The staff here listen to you as well as attempt to resolve any issues you may have. Parking is often an issue though as on-street parking is very limited.

Domino's Pizza beats Pizza Hut and other local pizza's hands down for quality and for value. You can watch your pizza being made as you wait or its ready when you arrive for a pick up. Am amazed by the negative comments as never been treated like this so a bit of a surprise.

Disapointment. The wait time was rediculous over 1 hour 45 minutes. Then the service when we asked to cancel as wasnt willing to waste so much money on something we wasnt going to eat as we were then ready for bed was disgusting. Wont ever order again.

Walked In I was ignored for up to 10 mins Having all ready placed my order online I eventually got served and the pizza was disgusting It smelled fishy was cold and not even when i told a member of staff who didn't know what he was doing did anything get done about it half an hour later I got my pizza and it was still made wrong missing toppings come on what's hard about making an American hot will never go again ended up leaving my pizza and went to pizza Hut and it was divine taste was out of this world will never use dominoes again........................................

Ordered our food online, very easy to do and it was with us in under 30 minutes on a Saturday night. Pizza was great and arrived hot.

You know the standard of food you're getting as you order, the high standard is consistent unlike the local major competitor Pizza Hut which is hit and miss. The staff are always friendly, problems are resolved with ease and the food never disappoints which is why it's a regular on our takeaway orders. The garlic bread is unique and worth a try.

Oh dear oh dear. How simple can you make it. I ordered online and went and collected my order. Walked in saw my name on the big screen they having saying its ready. Pointed this out and still 5 minutes later the staff were arguing amongst themselves before I eventually got mine. The product itself was nothing special and felt it expensive for what I got, so guess wont be a repeat customer then.
