Domino's Pizza in Sheffield

My phone had an issue and I could t pick up calls for some reason but my delivery driver Rafalat waited for quite a while in the cold for me to figure out what was wrong and to find him, he was very patient with me over the issues that were completely my fault

Short version: I was racially profiled by their employee and they do not care about customisations you make to your order. LONGER VERSION: I’ve been to this branch a couple times now where I had placed an order because order for a pizza with only ground beef (I like my pizza simple without the extra texture and all). I specifically said not to add pepperoni (I’m not allergic to pork or anything but some type of salami just makes my throat go itchy) but every single time they always add the bloody pepperoni. For some reason when you customise your order they can’t seem to find it to hand to you, even when the place is empty. After a couple times I started getting my pizza elsewhere which led to tonight. I had just gotten pizza from a nearby place and realise I didn’t get a dip or a drink, so I decided to pop here to get a can and the big dip on my way home. I called out to the staff and told them what I wanted only to be told “are you going to pay for that?”. At first my brain didn’t register because why wouldn’t I pay for something I’m fecking ordering AT THE TILL?Anyways, I got hit again with “you are gonna pay for that yeah?” and I was like “yes of course”. So this man then left to go get another colleague to come to the front just bcus I wanted a dip and a drink (gave him the BOD bcus I thought they didn’t know how to use the till). The drink and dip was finally brought to the till where I had paid using my phone but this man refused to give me my drink and kept glancing at the till and asking the other guy he brought over if the payment went through after they had already said thank you to me. When he finally decided to give me my order I was pissed and I literally had to wrestle it a bit from his clenched fist as if I were a thief. It was humiliating. Discrimination/racism is never ok but if this were a luxury store I could rationalise this behaviour and give this man the BOD. But this is a place where you get pizza not diamond encrusted necklaces.

I ordered a pizza and estimated delivery said 14-24 minutes, 45 Minutes later and i've been sat on quality check for 20 minutes I decided to ring up. The girl told me it would be here in 10-15 minutes but she didn't even ask for my order number? Not sure how she knew which one was mine but maybe it was the only one sat on the side for almost half an hour. Update: Arrived 1h 10mins (I live under 2miles)

food and service is sound but on the flyers they hand out it says a free personal pizza during freshers. But when i ask for the free pizza over the phone during freshers they say the discount is over. But foods class

Ordered plant based and received meat and they hung up on me when I rang them and asked for a replacement. Really poor management and service. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Ordered food, tracker showed driver arriving nearby but nobody ever turned up. Now tracker states my food has been delivered, but it hasn't, plus the phone number for the store is constantly engaged.

Ordered our pizza at the counter and we were the only order waiting to be made, which makes you think, “hm, I’ll be home soon enough can’t wait to eat this”. 15 minutes later, as our pizza is finished, we get told that they have suddenly realised that it had been made incorrectly before we even see it. They say they will remake it for us, but after another 15 minute wait, you’d think that after their first mistake they’d do it again properly… surely? Nope; completely wrong again. Would only recommend if you’d like a long wait and a randomised pizza.

Ordered at 12:37am almost 3am still waiting. App says it's been delivered but it hasn't claimed they came to my door, yet I have a ring doorbell which even if you don't use it, goes off. Got to wait another hour for it! Claimed they called me, they didn't. Two orders from this store both messed up. Oh and apparently (despite paying for it) they don't deliver to your door anymore, which is nonsense of course, but they said they came to the door 😂 so which is it? You don't deliver but you came to my door 😂🤣😂

The pizza is a dominos pizza, It’s always nice. It was made quick and it was a fair price. The staff, however, need to learn how to manage taking orders from customers in a timely manner and how to clean tables. Took them a while to come ask me what I would like. I don’t like to wait long to order.

Terrible service in there, can be waiting for ages to pick up and the pizza is just sat there. You have to get them to check the pizzas on the shelf to see which one is yours.

Awful customer services, both people I spoke to were rude and disrespectful. Worse customer service I've ever dealt with. Never ordering from this awful place again. Absolute joke.

Placed an order of over £80 and was charged twice. Store immediately called me and told me they would refund me - fair enough. This was supposed to take 4-5 working days apparently, 11 days later and I’m still out of pocket. Called again and they said the refund was never processed and they would now refund me but how do I know I have actually been refunded this time??? Well all they said was if you don’t have it back in 5 days just call again. Simply ridiculous. How can they not offer a receipt of refund? I’d expect some form of compensation for having to wait over 2 weeks to receive almost £85 back but nothing was offered.

Everything is good what can u expect from domino's. Kindly avoid during friday & Saturday nights its very crowdy. Unless its really good. For guys who are pure vegetarian its not good bcoz they won't use gloves & before sometime they made a non-veg pizza. They will touch with those same hands without washing or something. So, not much a vegetarian experience.

Don’t order from this place probably the worst place to order food from, 1. The food was cold when arrived not even properly Cooked 2. The driver didn’t even want to come out from the vehicle. 3. Had to wait over 1 hour 45 minutes for the food which is just not acceptable.

Update. Still nothing has been sorted. Annoyingly friends are receiving calls asking how their pizza and service was. They then ask if they will give a positive review for a free pizza. They must be trying to combat their poor reviews by artificially boosting their rating with bribed customers. I've been a fan of Domino's for most of my life. It's my favourite fast food. I made an order for two pizzas. One of them was perfect. It was above my expectation even. The other came with no sauce on it. I thought it was an easy mistake. It was a 'create your own' so on the label it says 'no tomato base' before it says 'extra BBQ base'. I called up and the gentleman on the phone wanted to refund it. I said that I'd rather have another sent but with sauce. It was near closing time and it seemed like they didn't want to do that so I agreed with a refund. This is when the hang ups began. I called up again after they hung up suddenly due to not having a refund from Domino's before. I asked how it works and they said "so many working days" before then hanging up again. Eventually I called again to follow this up. This person was different and seemed nicer than the last person I spoke to on the phone. He said he couldn't find my order through my phone number. I gave him the order number and he said he'd contact me once he's figured out the procedure. That interaction was fine but a follow up call never happened. I called up again a week later (this whole ordeal is spread over a month give or take) and the gentleman who answered the phone wasn't very nice. They were instantly treating me like a criminal and told me to call again when a manager was there. Once again they hung up...... I've given up trying. I don't need that anymore. Though Domino's is very expensive in my eyes I still ordered it regularly. I can't help it. I love the pizza. I've always found the service at any store I purchased from great. But after my experience from this store I don't feel I can invest into Domino's anymore. I've found this experience very upsetting and I feel like I've been robbed whilst being treated like a criminal. I've investing thousands of pounds into Domino's over my lifetime. It pains me to say this, and even though it's still my favourite food, I won't be buying from Domino's anymore.

I order a pizza online and it gets delivered to me in a messed up state!! Looks like your delivery boys need some serious training on how to deliver pizzas!!

Im giving 5 star purely for the delivery driver Q amar raja. Such a lovely man! He delivered my pizza and was so kind to ask about my day which I then explained it was my birthday. He gave me a surprise and came back with some cookies which was such a beautiful gesture!! So friendly and kind, he made my day, definitely a great driver to have. GIVE HIM A PAY RISE!!

Pizza is good but half the staff are either miserable or passive aggressive - asking for feedback in a really rude manor.

A very busy place in the evening. Therefore, they sometimes mess up orders a little bit. If the Pizza is made correctly it tastes very good.

Asked for ground beef to be removed and pineapple added, as they had no olives! When we got back to our accommodation and opened it there was no pineapple, although the beef had been left off and even though I'd seen a staff member checking inside the box while we were waiting for a lad we were showing directions to. Had recently ordered the same thing in Birmingham (although they did have olives) and got great service there, with staff pointing out the best deal and plenty of toppings. The Sheffield one wasn't bad, apart from the missing topping, but would have expected it to be at least as good as the Birmingham one, given that the same deal was £2 more expensive. The staff also didn't seem to be listening to what you said to them if their stock answer didn't answer your questions

Extremely poor delivery services. Waiting time 2 h plus.. After contacting the customer the response is driver is on his way for more than 1 h . Probably coming from heaven 😭😭

Wish I could give this place zero stars. I ordered my pizza and it never arrived. The tracking system said it was delivered, but the delivery driver never showed up. No one knocked on my door and no one called me. They stole my money and won't even answer the phone, so I cant even make a complaint.

Delivery driver Praveen decided that he wasn't gonna deliver my food because he had to wait 15 mins as he was at the wrong entrance, then wouldn't pick up after calling him four times, so my girlfriend called and he told us that he's gone to do other deliveries instead, don't bother with here and order from somewhere else

Ordered a VEGETARIAN pizza which was ment to arrival at 10, waited an extra hour to just to receive the wrong MEAT order which was also cold. I then phoned the shop where the guy told me I would have to wait an extra hour and a half for my correct order to come, by this time it was 12:30 and my appetite was ruined. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS DOMINOS BUT THE ONE ON ECCLESALL ROAD.

Domino’s use too be awesome best pizza ever but it’s gone down hill. Too many times now the pizza has arrived cold and the wedges have arrived undercooked and for the past month on tracking it has said delivered when it hasn’t been. Last night 30/10/21 at 3am I ordered a pizza and was told it had been delivered it hadnt When I rang they were rude too me and hung up on me eventually a cold pizza arrived 2 hours later I’ve been using dominos since 2009 and always been a regular customer they have no loyalty. They have lost me has a customer I don’t need this kind of stress I would rather go hungry then order from You again. And no there’s zero you can do Too make it right once trust is lost it’s lost forever

Ordered during the Euros Final for collection and expected a very long wait. The order was actually ready very quickly before the estimated time, and I received it within minutes of entering the store. Tanveer and the other staff where very helpful and efficient in handing over my order. This store takes covid safety very seriously and stuck strictly to the one person at the counter at one time which made my feel safe!

Visited the establishment on the night of Sunday the 13th if June at just after midnight (technically Monday 14th) with a couple friends after being out watching the football. Covid measures were put in place meaning people were not allowed to enter the store which was good to see. However when asking the staff to place an order we were told we can't unless we order on the app. When we explained we were unable to order the app we were ignored by multiple members of staff. We ended up ringing the store and was quickly told to not call (despite the staff taking other calls) and that we would not be served despite waiting patiently outside. At this point we had waited 30 minutes trying to get some food. The gentlemen answering the phones was extremely rude and I still cannot understand why when we asked so politely if a member of staff could come to the window and take out order they would simply not. The time of the phone call was 0:40 Monday 14th June for reference, I hope these are recorded and monitored. We also asked the man on the phones for his name which he refused to say both on the phone and talking through the screen outside. Overall I'm extremely disappointed with this service. Really like my local dominos and it's really left a sour taste in my mouth with how rude and inept staff were that night. Wasting over half an hour of our time and not being treated with human decency is just appalling. My only thoughts are that as the football was on maybe they had some difficult customers prior which I can understand but we were extremely patient and polite. All in all I will probably not be using dominos again because of this experience. Staff represent the brand and they have employed multiple people in one store where not one had the common sense or decency to act politely or properly. Shameful.

Ingnorant staff who completely ignored our attempts to place an order. Asked for the staff members name and was compleo ignored. A disgrace to dominos who I have loved to order with previously. So sad to see the staff have no care for customers. For reference we tried ringing up also to place our order after being ignored for 20/30 minutes and was put on hold. Then after speaking to the male who was answering the phones was told to order on the app and ingnored after explaining we could not (date reference 14th june at 12:30am. Avoid this chain, clearly staff don't care for customers, extremely disappointing. Sad end to a good night

I ordered at 7pm on Thursday using the BOGOF deal. Pizza was due for 10-15mins for collection. I arrived in 10mins and they were both ready and one of my pizzas had been complimentarily upgraded to the next size!

I ordered a pizza from this store and I must say that the Eric was absolutely outstanding, as I suffer from BDE, it can be hard for me to communicate effectively over the phone. Eric was very understanding and ensured smooth running of the order. I went into the store to meet him and all I can say is that Eric should be the face of Dominos Sheffield, if not the face of dominos UK. Very happy

We are not people to make a fuss about things like this but honestly the WORST customer service we have personally ever experienced. We we’re made to feel like we were being a pain for ordering from them. Staff did not make any eye contact on collection and the man did not say one word to us. The pizza was just shoved across the counter in our direction and he continued his conversation with his colleagues. So rude. We are not people to moan but we will NEVER be ordering from here again absolutely awful !
