Great food, service was very attentive ,got a lot of food ,I went fairly early so was quiet in there but food and service more than made up for it, definitely go again

Food was out of date, tasted of vinegar

Despite asking for a portion of curry sauce with very little tomatoes in it cos I'm allergic, they thought it was appropriate, and even funny when I complained, to serve me a dish full of tomato sauce. On top of this the hygiene was disgusting, staff touching the barely cooked kebab skwere to see if it was even warm, and the place is half built with materials and exposed wires on show. The order has gone in the bin and a complaint is on the way to the council as they clearly have no respect or care for their customers!!!

Food never turned up hope I get my money back

Not ordered from here for a while so thought I'd try again what a mistake. Ordered at 11pm for 12am turned up at 12.20am with stuff missing from the order.Rang them said they would be there straight away but after waiting 20 mins phoned them and they said it's on its way after we had eaten our meal.Should have stuck to my usual reliable Abduls. Never will I give these another penny

Absolutely disgusting food. Just ordered some cheese chips & the chips were soggy and brown and taste awful. Hardly any cheese on. Got some chicken pakoras and they smell like piss. Can’t believe I spent money on that food. Will never order again. Disgusting.

Absolutely horrific meal through just eat. Prawn korma was extremely watery, bhajis were rock solid and dry, coconut rice was tasteless, chicken tikka masala tasted very tangy with hard chicken pieces. Only decent items were the nan and pickle tray. I've had better curries from the supermarket meal deals. About 80% of the food was bagged up and binned, what a waste. Never again.

Absolutely fantastic hearty indian food. went for biriyani a curry sauce onion pickles and raita, portion is generous and came with a side of veg curry which itself was rich with a deep flavour. Delivery was quick and food piping hot. Not greasy at all. Amazing!

i've been ordering for years and food is good but portions are not fair. I usually go for kebabs and get them large (extra payment) but they feel the same size as regular ones.

Food started off nice until I found a receipt underneath my kebab

Both really fancied a kebab. Naively decided to look under the KEBAB section of the website and my other half settled on 'chicken tikka chips', asking to go large as he was hungry. I chose chiken donner naan kebab. Food arrived in good time but that's the only positive. The KEBAB was in fact just chicken tikka and chips. I'm not sure what you get with standard size but with large you get 5 pieces of incredibly dry tikka chicken and a tray of chips. Needless to say he was fuming. Mine was pleasant but it wasnt chicken and donner meat as I thought (how silly of me!) It was just chicken in some sort of sauce. Rang to explain all of this and was quite abruptly cut off with a "I'll pass it on to the manager" (I'm sure this didn't happen!!) Really really poor quality, quantity and service. Will not be returning!

Horrible Service, don't know why they ask for options of what u want when they just bring you whatever they want. Paid over £16 for a ridiculous quality food.

Ordered a prawn rogan josh . Delivered prawns in a masala sauce! . No onions no peppers tasted absolutely horrible £12. For this rubbish food . Never again.. sort yourself out Ali’s not acceptable

Don't get all the negative reviews. Used Alis a few times curries always been nice love the baltis, and the nans and chapatis are cooked fresh and don't go crispy. Delivery always on time and food piping hot. Cheaper to order on the website.

I ordered lamb. It was really delicious and tasty. The staff is very professional and humble. Highly recommended to order your food there. You will definitely like it.

Absolutely disgusted , I was a happy loyal customer until today I've left this place many good reviews on just eat . Today's food come & it had about 20 dark curly hairs in it . All in the curry , ive taken photos this is unacceptable & can't be accidental as far too many hairs . Its like someone cut hair over the cooking pot . I feel sick , there was loads more I didn't pull out . This needs investigating , basic hygiene and I will be reporting to just eat im disgusted .

Ordered many times on just eat from alis and left good reviews as i always enjoyed the food until last night the curry i ordered was full of black curly hairs. I must of pulled about 20 out and there was still more in the curry , far too many hairs to of been an accident. Beyond disgusted. Pulled 2 hairs out of my mouth so investigated the rest in the tub and there was loads like someone had deliberately put hairs there was that many . Totally unacceptable I was a happy loyal customer. Not any more. Reported to just eat . What's on the tissue is just a fraction of what i pulled out. Gross

Awful service ordered a chicken masala I got mince (well I think it was) the guy on the phone didn't know what a masala was then hung up when I asked for a new order to be delivered. The fries were warmed up stiff cardboard and got about ten if that Don't order here horrible used ti ve so nice too

Horrible food not cooked right

Drenched in oil and the chicken didn’t even taste like chicken. My kids said mummy this isn’t chicken and they are only 6 and 8. Says it all really. Customer service appalling and all they did was offer another burger which I didn’t want when it’s obvious it’s not cooked in clean conditions. Apparent that the oil must have been very dirty. Never again.

The food was inedible!! We ordered the hottest curry they had and masala (both lamb) had to add chilli powder! Iv had hotter kormas! It was literally tasteless! The prices on just eat are different to there website and you get a completely different price when you ring up! Sorry but the food went in the bin! The chef needs sacking! No seasoning, no flavour at all!! Just scraps of meat swimming in sauce! Lesson learned! Just eat needs to remove this place from there site

Food is over priced and the chicken tikka kebab was small

Ordered a pizza and payed over phone by card! When the pizza come the driver wasn't aware that it had been payed for so he went back to confirm it had, once he was back the pizza was cold so we told him we no longer wanted it and wanted a refund! We rang back and told them this and all I got was made up excuses so we couldn't have a refund or another pizza then said it was too far to deliver even though we'd just had a delivery. This was the first time ordering from here and it definitely will be the last!

I ordered my food and never received it the delivery driver told me he’d gone to far out of his way to a different address and I had to get in touch with you so I I’m my address is 19 park Avenue Outwood Wakefield WF1 2NQ this as never happened before so could you please get my order sorted out and get it set out as soon as possible

Over 1 hour late and flat cold pizza. Manger is very very rude towards you when you call and ask why. Driver rude and can never find address says he's there when he's dropping food off eles where. Stay away from this place. Hopefully justeat will remove them

Very tasty food. For me is the best Indian restaurant in Wakefield

Very good, would recommend to every person who loves his curries, it was a really good experience, very friendly and honest staff, really helped me out. The best thing is the prices are very good compared to other curry places, because you get what you pay for, absolutely beautiful, really wanna give a hats off to the staff and quality.

Not my coup of tea. Won't be ordering again.

Tried for the 1st time tonight, Pizza was the best, and had a chicken peri present wrap that was spot on! Would definitely reccomend!

Driver came, said couldn't find the door, even though there is a big 36 on the gate and they have delivered multiple times, food was ice cold, it ended up in the bin

Everything was great other than in one of the cheese and garlic naan breads there were long strips of plastic. Ordered from here for years and never had this before.

chips was wet and cold ordered a CHEESEBURGER that came with no cheese on it! 20 minutes late for the delivery driver to ask if he can keep the change!

Outstanding value as always! I got doner meat & chips, plus a small pizza for under a tenner! Once I added a drink and went above £10, an automatic 15% discount was applied. Really can’t argue with that at all, especially when you consider the quality and taste too. Ali’s is my go to takeaway when I don’t want to fork out an arm and a leg (when it’s not quite pay day) but not compromise on quality and service. The delivery driver rang me when he was a few minutes away and was friendly, efficient and polite. 10/10 for everything and without a doubt the best priced takeaway on Just Eat. Thanks.

Food wasn’t packed right, the portion was small compared to the price and the cold can of Pepsi was in the bag with the food which was also cold. The pizza box was totally bent won’t be ordering again

Lovely food but they forgot my chapaties.

Was never delivered. The restaurant failed to deliver, updated their time, failed to deliver again and in the end I had to get JustEat to refund me.

5* Ordered a week ago to an hour late, you’ve up’d your game!

If you order, pay by credit card or cash. Need to make it easy to get your money back when it never turns up. Zero communication when it doesn't turn up, and if you're lucky and part of the order turns up then the staff are rude to you for daring to ask for the remainder that you already paid for. One too many times, I'm done giving them a chance.

delivery was on time,food was tasty,unfortunetly they did not send me whole order: Nehari,Aloo Peas Plau Rice,Capri Sun,Plain Naan-i was suppoused to get those they forgot about ''Capri Sun'' i called them and they told me to wait 5-10mins. i was waiting outside in cold for 20 mins for nothing in the end i didn't get my drink that i paid for.

Ordered a pizza and a side at 730pm, delivered at 940pm when said 820pm delivery time, just eat app said delivered 825pm😂, tried to do the right thing and called many times but got told food was on way🤦‍♂️. When arrived was cold. Im sure they wont to deliver to me again after the review but its 100% accurate. Wish them all the best in the future but 2 hours for a pizza is too much for me

Ordered food at 19:30 now 21:30 still not showed up, rang up restaurant to be told out with the driver yet still nothing showed up and no answer on phone, will never order from here again beyond disappointed.

Food cold when arrived, left on the floor not outside our house but at another door and driver just walked off, will not be ordering again! Disgusting service!!

Not sure if the chef has changed but this is the second time I've ordered my usual dish of chicken tikka korma and each time it has in no way resembled a korma in taste. Asked for it medium and it was, to me hot. Definitely not a korma 🤔, still tasted nice, but a bit too hot for me.

Cold, stale food and delivered 40minutes early which when working in a hospital isn't ideal hence why a time was given for delivery!!

Had lots of food from Alis, generally not too bad, however ordered food last night, and part of the order missing. The part that did arrive was dry (KEBAB meat). The part, that was missing, the driver told me he would go back and get another, it would be 15 minutes. 40 minutes later, it turns up cold and no complimentory apology! Unfortunately occasions like this make you look for other establishment.

Ordered 2 pizzas and cheesy chips Food was cold even to touch cheesy chip which had 2 stands of cheese on if I could upload a photo to show I would rung up to complain and asked to replace the food and take the food back and they wouldn’t got told they would give free pizza next time this takeaway is a joke and would highly recommend no one to order from here

Never done a reveiw before but always a first had many meals from here before but this was the worst ive had for £27 cold and extremely poor quality

Delivered food which tasted great. However, didn’t send chips which were ordered as a sundry. Couldn’t be bothered to phone and wait for rest of food to be cold - shame

Wrong order sent in the first delivery. Took over 3 hours in total for the missing items to turn up. No customer service skills at all and reluctant to send the right order out again.

Absolute joke. Order from this place multiple times a week, order tonight just a single pizza for it to turn up 2 hours late, freezing cold, delivery driver refused to take it back so wife called restaurant for them to say if we wanted a refund, go through justeat. We didn't want a refund, we wanted the pizza we ordered, Unlucky Ali's I'll be making sure absolutely none of my friends or family eat from you again.

Sorry for giving low rating but the Quattro formaggi was flat cold and tasted like a cheap party pizza, Quattro formaggi means four cheeses and there was only two on there. Apart from the pizza and the late delivery the chicken burger and chips were perfect.

Absolutely disgusted by the service received by this takeaway today! We had our food delayed over an hour by the time we received the order it was stone cold and tasted horrible. The staff member who I spoke to over the phone was providing false information which aggravated the matter more. The food has gone to waste ruined our night

Ordered a chicken briyani - I can’t complain about the portion size at all would of easily fed two hungry adults. But I did not get a chicken briyani the sauce had peas, carrots, potatoes in and did not taste like briyani sauce normally does (I’ve never had it with so many veg before) the chicken had a strange taste to it too- I couldn’t eat and had to throw out.

Poor quality food no salad on kebabs, pizza under par, hardly no topping and the food was cold due to it been late

I don't normally be like to moan and I understand it was bank holiday but the food was an hour late, cold when it arrived. The tikka masala was basically tinned tomato soup. Just be honest about delivery time, I can work on with it. Food was really poor though.
