De-Niro's Pizza in Wakefield

They advertise a "Portuguese chicken burger" AND a Peri Peri Chicken pizza. Having been excited to try these as I've spent alot of my life in Portugal and Mozambique ( Peri Peri central), I was bitterly disappointed. I wish they'd researched 'Peri Peri" ....albeit travelled to a country where it's a National dish. Then they'll understand the culture and the flavours. Cumon guys,take a trip to Maputo or Beira and experience this food you're trying to sell. You'll be amazed....

Great pizza, big portions of cheesy chips & wedges, the chips could’ve done with some seasoning on before the cheese. New regular takeaway

First time ordering to nty and the food was out standing the calzone de niros is the one to go for definitely new take away now to order from food was red hot and didn't take them long to deliver it

Everything delicious and hot! Stopped ordering for a while but last 2 times has been on point !! Also our special request in the notes for extra chilli, sauces etc were done so well done 👍 guys and thank you 🙏 much appreciated 😀

Hadn't ordered from here for years as it was awful but someone at work recomended it so gave it another go. Kebab meat was beautiful, my bf had chicken kebab and he loved it. Look forward to trying more meals.

I ordered a mushroom pizza as I’m don’t eat meat , I couldn’t believe my eyes they’re put pepperoni under the mushroom, no one realised as I am the only person in the house that doesn’t eat meat, and my husband had eaten most of it I took one bite and had thrown up, I will not be ordering again, by the way they’re don’t deserve any stars

The ladies that take order keep getting my orders wrong been ordering over a year sometimes 3 per week will not be ordering again even rang up 5 mins after to confirm order as well it's a joke they do correct the problems but not the point owners are great but service staff need training I'll be going else where from now on

Garlic bread was ok but it was the smallest chicken kebab and chicken was rubbery

Overpriced bought some chips with my pizza and got about 4 chips for £2.60 wont go again

Ain’t be ordering from there again. No sauces were added to the order. It is not clear that you have to order in addition.

Fantastic eatery, great selection of foods. I went for the BBQ Chicken Parma, never had it before but had been recommended it by one of my sons albeit from a different shop. It was great, juicy, succulent and cheesy. Chips and salad rounded it off to make the complete meal. Highly recommend this place.

Can't fault it. Chips end up been a bit cardboardy but price, delivery pace and taste of the burger, kebab and pizza was great. We keep coming back. Cheers.

the kebab came very dry with no sauce, the salad came separately with just a bit of lettuce one mini tomato and one slice of cucumber

chips were really undercooked, chicken parma was burnt, chicken kebab was mega greasy and didn't taste nice at all. definitely won't be ordering from here again.

The food wasn’t very warm. The kebab meat is really peppery/spicy and I didn’t get the salad I’d ordered.

Delivery was fast so it was disappointing that most of the food was cold, especially the chips and parmo. Some of the charges were ridiculous eg, +50p for salad or +50p for no salad??

The food is great but could be slightly improved, the service is awesome and finish your food really fast and the atmosphere within the area is OK.

Had chicken pizza from here on Saturday night, started being poorly middle of night and not yet well, 5 days later! I suspect food poisoning from the chicken but cannot prove it! My advice, steer clear!

Regular customer here. Partner phoned up to ask for no salad and untoasted because it is always burnt toasted. They said no order despite payment. ‘Man’ came on phone and shouted and balled at her down the phone. Hung up on her. I phoned up “Yer I know you are a regular customer yer but we are really busy, then started shouting” I gave him what for. Will never order from these cowboys again! Ridiculous customer service! If you can’t fulfill orders, just close the shop!

Pizza toppings were stuck to the top of the inside of box as if been turned upside down, barely hot if fact it was not really warm. It wasn’t nice to look at,few bites was more than enough,straight in bin. Waste of money.

Best wrap and cheese chips I've had in a long long time.

Estimate delivery time was 20.20 I didn't receive it until 21.35. My daughter had gone to sleep by time it arrived.

Ordered greek chicken salad kebab, received = soggy salad NO trace of any ‘greek’ eg Feta and the advertised sauce. Dry chicken, overcooked and the fries & potato wedges were so over cooked you could have caused an injury with them! Always been a customer of you guys but this time will be the last - particularly given I need to provide evidence of food that’s in the BIN. Big fat NEVER AGAIN

personally we didnt like the food. the chicken caesar was marinated chicken with lettuce onion and tomato which to me isnt a chicken caesar. The chicken tandoori and chicken kebab wrap was marinated well but barely any salad on them. The doner wrap was crammed full of meat but again just about no salad on it. value for money wise, well worth it, the wraps were big and plenty of meat in them. delivery was on time and the lady driver was pleasant.

Some of the meat in the kebab was obviously poor quality, as was soft/squishy/mushy; burger was acceptable, but nothing special at all.

First time ordering. We ordered 2 donor kebabs with salad option, and some curly fries, for just under £20. There was a box each just full of kebab meat, like a build it yourself kebab! A tiny pitta each came separate, with a little pot of salad to share between kebabs. We weren’t impressed. The curly fries were ok though. And the delivery process was smooth. I won’t use this place again though, because it can’t be hard to get a kebab right.

Put in order at 7pm. Told us it would be an hour. Rang at 8.15, said it is on way now. Arrived 10 minutes later. Chips if you could call them chips, scrag ends, the chicken was horrible, grisly and hard, disgusting. Won't be ordering again from you.

Unfortunately like most places when you order a chicken and doner mixed kebab, its 95% kebab meat and 5% chicken, surely it should be evened out more but its not even close, makes you feel ripped off because we all know the kebabs a cheaper meat and thats why places do it, so where not really getting what we ordered. Quality of the food is very good, but its alot of money for about 7 small pieces of small chicken resting on top and then everything after that is just kebab.

Never once has my food been anything below excellent, quick reliable service and very good choice. For me it's the best around

Ordered a donner kebab wrap with salad and garlic sauce, only salad in it was lettuce and very little at that, meat wasn't cooked properly, needless to say I've been up since 3am with a poorly tummy, won't be going back there again!!

Tacos were dry left out too long like cardboard. Not enough meat in the Nan wrap. Garlic bread base dry. No salad on one of the wraps even though requested.

Ordered a 14" pizza it came and it defo wasn't a 14" it was tiny compared to the 14" from a different takeaway so defo gave me wrong size will not be ordering again from here

Oh dear what has happened at De Niro's. Always get takeaway food from here but never again. Bought too large pizzas for a birthday tea and they were poor quality, base's were not cooked, they did send another out after we complained but that was as bad. Sorry De Niro's but won't be back 😡

The young girl on the phone was so rude, asked for a simple order and she managed to get it wrong, wasn’t surprised to be honest, wont go back again, orderd a 11.5 inch pizza opened the box it was more like 8 inch, cold, orderd a kebab with nan recieved a pitta bread what was that small couldn’t really make anything with it, cold aswell,

I have to admit, normally I'd order a pizza, but I decided on chicken meat and chip's, and as this was £8 + and then delvery on top took it to over £13. i expected more than what actually arrived. Yes, I'm disappointed and still hungry after. I definitely won't order again.

Not good good, everything looked very sad, cold on delivery too.

A regular customer from here and usually lovely food. However, we ordered a pepperoni pizza and wasn’t as expected, no pepperoni but instead salami or some kind! 8 hours later.. I am woken during the night with the worst stomach ever and now I don’t feel very well.. it would be clear that I have food poisoning.. so we won’t be returning. Environmental health were there also when I collected the order…

Food was a bit cold, chips were bland. Good portion sizes though and beef nice in both burger and burrito, burritos are massive though so be warned, I got a bit bored of it half way through.

Waiting 70 mins for food to receive a quarter of dish of chilli priced over £7 a forgotten sauce for the kebab I asked for 😪 this is first time ive been robbed but not first time its been small small portions and won't happen again as I will order elsewhere in future. Our usual place was closed so was excited to try somewhere new, but was disappointed. The pizza was not too dissimilar to a Chicago town frozen pizza, with a puffy bread base, clearly not freshly prepped. For the money I would except better quality. Won’t order again from here

Chips were cold an soggy, chicken nuggets were so hard my daughter struggled to bite threw them, Burgers looked an tasted like they were made day before an just warmed up in microwave. Won't be eating from here again.
