Dont ever ask for sauce they are supposed to put it in separately but the put it in the only bit of food that my friend has and he does not like the sauce and it has leaked all over his food I would like a full refund as they have now ruined my food

Delivery was late and forgot pizza

After waiting 2 hours and several phone calls answered by some rude cow telling me I can’t have a refund because it’s out for delivery, 2 HOURS later it arrived COLD dip burst all over the bag wedges cold and inedible, jalapeño cheese cold all cold went straight in the bin, I WILL be going there in person tomorrow night for a full refund and to speak to the rude cow who put the phone down on me, shows how bothered they are not one response to a complaint, I will also make sure they lose their business with Uber eats

I made an order at 10:30, to be told it was being prepared and would arrive around 11:15 - 11:35, for it then to be pushed back to 11:50 - 12:10. It’s now 1:04 when which I believe the restaurant had now actually closed and I’ve just had a loud bang on my living room window and food left on my door step, no one there as they left before I had chance to answer and upon looking through the bag was left with an atrocious bag of food which smelt awful upon opening the bag, those strawberries look older than me and those bananas are darker than my tan, never seen anything like it

Easily the worst place I've ever had the misfortune to order from. Food took a total of 3 and a half hours to arrive and when it did the 2 kebabs had soggy and mushy pitta bread with rock solid and dry chicken with what seemed to be a liquid at the bottom of the tray. Worst experience ever, would avoid at all costs

Truly awful. Waited 2.5 hours for the food to turn up, despite ringing numerous times and being told it’s ‘on its way’. When the food eventually turned up, it was sweaty, soggy, cold and just plain disgusting. By this point it’s 9pm and too late to source dinner from somewhere else. Wish I could give it 0 stars. The worst takeaway in one of the worst towns in the north of England. Not surprising how terrible it really is.

Once upon a time, a hungry family ordered from Crown Pizza. Two pizzas were ordered. A pepperoni pizza and a Hawaiian pizza. Accompanying the order, was a Terrys choc cheesecake, cheesy chips, and a tango ice blast. The family was very excited to receive their delicious nom noms, but alas, 2 hours passed before they arrived. A phone call was made to the restaurant to enquire about the nom noms about an hour after the order was placed. The family was told that their order would be arriving in "about 10 minutes." 10 minutes came and passed like a hummingbird on speed and the order was yet to arrive. Sometime later (1h) the family was preparing for bed when they heard a mysterious knock on the front door. It was the nom noms. The delivery driver was thanked, and the order was opened up, but the family was met with disappointment as the nom noms were not very hot and had to be microwaved, and the cheesecake more accurately resembled a soggy biscuit. The family went to bed disappointed that night and decided they would have to enjoy a nicer take away some other time. 1 Star for the tango ice blast. The End.

service times are sometimes late and often take a hour but they have good food but sometimes dont always bring everything

Saw on Uber eats menu looked alright so decided to order turns out they were all the way in Castleford and extremely lazy selecting where they would deliver to but that would be fine instead we called them 1hr into ordering asking where it was they replied "on its way" yeah right called 30 mins after saying we were too far away poor poor staff

If I could I wouldn't give any stars but have to give 1 because I want to put my review on🤣, absolutely disgusting phoned at 10:20pm didn't turn up till 1am in the mean time I was ringing no answer at all!, eventually when it did turn up I didn't even answer the door because I was that fuming looked this morning they have left it at my door step in the rain with "HAHA" written at the side the pizza box. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN!!!

AVOID!!! Absolutly shocking, food was ordered via the just eat app with an estimated time slot, it arrived over 30 minutes later than the latest time given. I checked for updates on the app and they'd marked it as been delivered, irang to see where the food was, and the person on the phone had no manners at all, answered the phone with just "crown". The food was cold (not even warm) the chips tasted like they had been reheated and the food in general tasted unpleasant and dry. I've given 1 star only because I had to. This was a fairly big order and everything was dissapointing.

Ordered a desert on Uber eats gives three options of ice creams and I received 2. I rung up and was told this is not their fault and it’s Uber eats as you only get one flavour for £3 each rather than three options for £3, this was not explained on the app. My order was placed at around 11:30pm and arrived at 1:42 AM after ringing multiple times. It is shocking and I rang multiple times to be told “ your order is 10 minutes away” , “your order should be with you in seconds”. NEVER again. The ice cream was also like slop did not taste normal at all.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from here. After been told our order would be with us in '10 mins' is was a further hour. We waited 2 hours in total. Rang to find out where our delivery was. She became rude, ignorant & after me complaining calming & respectfully she said 'whatever'. Please don't give them a penny. Oh & the chips came cold!! Wouldnt let me post with no stars, so had to press one star, only reason it got one. Word of advice do not order from here if you want tasty hot food. Took 75 minutes to arrive and was cold. Kebab meat had no taste, think they forgot to add any spices to curry, all poppadoms broken up like crisps and chips soggy. At nearly £20 and it all went in bin. I ordered a takeaway for delivery from here and after waiting 2 hours I called them to ask where my order was, the lady on the phone said "It will be 5-10 more minutes, the driver is nearby with one other order before yours". 45 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. Called them 4-5 more times and they did not answer. Food never arrived, but they still charged me. This was the second time I've ordered, and the last. My first experience wasn't good either, but it was over a year ago and I thought I'd give them a second chance. Clearly that was a mistake. Luckily I used Uber Eats and I can get a refund through them. I'd recommend avoiding Crown Pizza.

The portion sizes are disgraceful and heavily overpriced. Woman on the phone was rude and condescending. Paid £6 for a cookie dough that came in a box you’d find a portion of rice in, about 1cm thick. Never felt as ripped off in my life.

Shockingly bad. Ordered pizza at 1am and given an ETA of 2am (bad enough). After 2am called several times to ask when it will arrive and kept being lied to saying “they are in the area now” or “I can seen they are a mile away”. Gave up and went to bed at 3am and at 3.40am they called, woke everyone in the house up and said the pizza has been left outside the front door. Highly recommend you avoid these jokers like the plague.

I'm shocked that this place has such low reviews. Whenever I've had food from here (walk in, or order over the phone to collect) it's always been very tasty, as far as this type of takeaway food goes and it's usually my go to takeaway in Cas. I am vegetarian though so can't speak for the meat based dishes, but the veggie food I've had has always been delicious. The lady taking orders on the counter and phone is always so polite and friendly as well, but I can imagine she probably has to deal with all sorts of unnecessary abuse from customers, so I appreciate her friendly manner and professionalism whenever I've dealt with her. I guess maybe collect your food rather than get it delivered as that seems to be the main issue with these reviews?

Not only was the food rubbish but the delivery time was embarrassing, 1 hour and 20 mins for some pizza, a waffle and some shakes. The pizza was absolutely gross it looked like it was chewed up and spat back into the box, not to mention the crust and dough was stale. The milkshakes taste sour and the missus’ waffle came with ice cream that was 2% ice cream and the rest a yellow ice cube at the bottom of the tub!! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL 2 hour wait for sub-par food and TINY portions. I ordered a mixed kebab on naan, chicken burger with cheese on the chips and some chips with spices at 9pm via Uber Eats. I was given an estimated arrival time of 10:10pm-10:30pm at 10:15 we called for an update as there were no updates on the app, we were told they were waiting for a delivery driver to return and our food would be on its way to us. At 11:45pm we still hadn’t gotten our food and there was no update on Uber Eats, so we called again, only to be told it would be “with us in 5 minutes” at 11pm we were debating going to collect our food, the delivery driver arrived with cold, sub-par food. The driver was lovely, he waited while we checked our food and was VERY sorry about our 2 hour wait. The kebab was an alright portion, quite warm and looked edible. The chicken burger with chips was a joke, £1.60 for extra cheese and it wasn’t even a child-size portion of chips, the burger was cold and inedible. The spiced chips were cold, barely spiced and needed to be reheated. After 2 hours and given that it was 11pm, we ended up cooking a meal and deciding to NEVER order from Crown Pizza again.

I love pizza, even make it myself but being totally honest this is one of the worst pizza I ate in my entire life. It seems bread with tomato sauce and cheese over it. Terrible! I managed to eat 3 pieces of it, even supermarket pizzas can be better than this. It is outrageous call this pizza.

Please please please do not order from here. There should be an environment health warning on this place. The food took a long time to come and that was just the start. When the food arrived we opened the box and it was just GROSS. The dough could have been used to build houses and they would have been water tight. The chicken looked like rabbit droppings and to be honest we dont think it was chicken. The pizza tasted like cardboard and the box it came in would have probably been tastier. Hasten to say we didnt eat it and we was starving. This was good decision. I dont know who leaves decenrt reviews on here for this place but i suspect they work there. Crown pizza should be shut down and just eat should take them of their books.

Absolutely disgusting meal, this is my first ever public review as I don’t do them but this time was just shocking I couldn’t keep quiet. Ordered stir fry noodles with donner - I could have overcook myself some Lidl spaghetti without nothing and it would have tasted the same. I suggest the chief to visit at least one decent Chinese restaurant to figure out how it should be done. I wanted to give it to my dog but even he hasn’t touched it

Absolutely appalling service! Order a year in advance and you might be lucky to get it on time. Driver delivered it to the wrong house which resulted in us waiting nearly 2 hours, and they weren’t even willing to do anything for the inconvenience due to their error!!! I asked for a refund because it took that long and no longer wanted it to then be told I couldn’t have a refund and they would re-send the order. Absolutely shocking service and a shocking attitude from the staff too, definitely will not be ordering from here ever again! Avoid at all costs

The quality of the food was well below average and cold. Probably one of the worst pizzas I've tried. Parmos were okay at best. Chips were cold and soggy. Listen to the reviews people- price is one of the most expensive and far away from the best of quality!

I have ordered food from this takeaway shop on 3 occasions  I have paid on my card  The money was taken from my account  No food arrived on any of the occasions  No refund or response  No food No refund  No communication  Its absolutely disgusting how they can do that to people  I have attached my order numbers and details below
