I've been here for events a couple of times and it's been a nice vibe with great staff each time. Plenty of people behind the bar and great DJs/music, enough security floating too.

The meal was excellent and the service was very good. All in all a good value meal which was extremely tasty. All the food arrived hot.

They changed the wings and it’s not good spicy and rather disappointed in this tbf

salad on burger was brown and slimey, phoned to complain as it put me off meal , told hes looking at the salad now and that it wasn't brown ( so im lying? ) used this takeaway for 4 years will not be going back plenty of other choice in diss now who don't use off products and tell customers they're lying

Excellent food and very quick service. Brought water out for our dog without us having to ask. Will definitely be back.

Just been in here. Not what it used to be. Very slow service. Pizza turned up cold. Not impressed . Staff polite enough though.

Wrong dip called store was rude said to collect my pizza as was going cold refused and said just make a co.plaint so poor customer service this was the o e at sugar way Peterborough

Our U3A group was visiting Thaxted for the day and sought a convenient and suitable place for lunch for twenty plus persons. We discovered the Maypole and right from the start we were met with a warm welcome and an offer to accommodate our dining requirements. It was agreed that there would be a fixed price set menu which we could distribute to members. On the day itself, on arrival we were warmly greeted and our reserved tables were set out neatly for us. I was overjoyed to see that Timothy Taylor Landlord was available at the bar. The meal itself was excellent. I had the salmon which was a generous portion cooked perfectly. No shortage of accompanying vegetables. Others who had the Mediterranean tart or sausage and mashwere equally impressed. My wife had an enormous and delicious portion of cheesecake and I had a superb portion of apple crumble and custard. I can’t praise this establishment more highly for the service that they provided.

Got a thin vegan pizza. The flavour was good and it would’ve been an excellent pizza but unfortunately it was fairly cold by the time I got it.

We came to Pizza Express Luton on our way back from Whipsnade Park. We were on a tight time schedule and Simon was absolutely brilliant. Our meal came amazingly quickly and the food was delicious. Outstanding service, highly recommended. Directions to the train station were spot on.Thank you Simon and the team.

Just returned from Pizza Express and I am certain I will not be visiting Pizza Express anymore. So while placing the order we ordered for 2 pizza and one portion dough ball . We realised we could go for 1 all day set menu to which we were told it can be done over the app . Set menu order needs to be done on the app we can't take it. we were also made aware that the set menu comes with a dessert and I replied saying I am always game for a dessert. Next I download the app, register myself and we were told while placing put table number 1 so when I did, there was already a bill with my original order (assuming the waitress had already put in for us). I did notice there wasn't any set menu so I tried to add ( the bill didn't change, so not sure whether it was added or not or was already added by the waitress) tried deleting the original it didn't get delete , in a nutshell the bill that was already inputted by the waitress didn't change. Going ahead I just paid it ( we weren't told do not pay) . Staff didn't help with placing order on the app nor were they present to assist. N e how I went ahead and paid the bill before the food even arrived. We finished our pizzas and I asked for my dessert to which I was told you didn't place order for it, and have already paid the bill so if you want dessert you will have to pay. The whole point of downloading the app and placing order on app was to go for 1 set menu and one more pizza and we end up paying slightly more and without the dessert inspite of downloading the appand placing order on it. The staff should have been more clear in giving us instruction about placing order on app, should have been there to assist us since it was our first time using the PE app and to top it up when they realised , I am sure earlier than us that this customer did download the app and was wanting to place order for a set menu should have immediately brought to our notice. Highly disappointed !!!

Haven't had a pizza in ages. There are 3 of us, one veggie, one cheese free and one dairy free (what a nightmare). Opted for the 'My Box' meal deal - small pizza and side each. It meant we could all create our own favourite. Order was spot on. Food hot and tasty. And most importantly great value for money. £7 each! Oh and there is leftovers for lunch tomorrow. 🤣 Well done Pizza Hut, for offering choice and value.
